most important aspect of DevOps is troubleshooting and problem solving which he not talked in this video strange!!Nowadays freshers do development but while troubleshooting they can't able to know where to check logs even not able to troubleshoot login also..troubleshooting needs lots of brain power.

Wonderful video Puri ji, after 20 years in IT and after many achievements, I too can share my experience that Spirituality is the key ingredient. Level of success professionally and monetarily can be a part of luck, environment and many other factors in your hand and not in your hand. But success in spiritually is for sure in your hand and this is the only investment which gives multi fold returns, irrespective of any variable. Keep it up Puri ji.. Many more such videos to come.
I'm a beginner It is very overwhelming, not knowing where to start from, I am doing my bachelors in Political Science (3rd year)and would like to come back into coding, (11th and 12th had CS) but i'm not sure what and where to start, Python, web dev, DevOps, mern, cyber security and what not, Devin Ai and all this AI's are too in the market rn which is bothering, Tell me which i'll do for an year or two fully focused and whole heartedly that'll land me a good package in the upcoming years initially and then I'll continue growing in that field. Tell me what should i learn and something that'll be relevant after 4-5 years not something in fashion right now. Sir your spirituality point is 100% valid and helpful, thanks for adding that. Thanks in advance Savinder Sir and all those who'll reply this and help me out.
Sir First time on your channel. this video is so value addition to my knowledge as a fresher. i have seen alot on devops cycle but the way you elaborate it, amazing. i have never been fully focused on videos but yours is truly a gem!! i want to ask a piece of advice, you have 2 decades of experience working professionally, as a beginner, fresher my goal is to make a company and scale it up to world level, but i seem to be losing sight of it, because i couldn't maintain consistency!!! how to maintain or make habit of working consistently ?
Really eye opening video. What wil be our agenda/ capacity, what is the current trend of a market, what is the news going around the technology, even including most appreciated my favourite topic spirituality along with. A million rupees advice and true words. Thanks heartfully sir

I’m inspired to apply what I’ve learned and approach my work with both focus and calmness. Your insights remind me that working smart, with a clear mind, is the key to achieving great results. Thanks again for your support
You have explained so beautifully, Sir. I am currently working as an system engineer. I have learned powershell, some ansible on my own and have been using it to deploy patch releases and upgrades. Its not exactly a devops pipeline but running scripts manually. If I want to switch to a DevOps role, shall I start to learn from scratch? Or like you said to build skills on your experience, shall I try to do the things I am doing more better? Also I am doing everything in Azure which I leant from experience but do not have a single certification for it. Does certification impacts my chances of switching into DevOps role?
1. That's a good start. Keep building on this knowledge 2. Talk to your DevOps team on what you need to learn to get involved in their tasks 3. Certifications help you break through, but actual experience + projects is equally valuable
Thank You Sir for making this video, the steps and Roadmap you gave i am following them and hopefully it is helping me alot for becoming better version of myself ! and yes i am still a fresher as a DevOps practitioner and persuing my Bachelor Degree in BCA.
I want to switch from non it to it. I want to work in either devops or cloud. But the thing is I don't have any experience and I can't gain experience in internships as people want experienced people. I have already learned linux but I can't get experience by working as no one is willing to take someone inexperienced. How can I gain experience? Do i have to do projects on my own ? But the thing is i don't know what to do or where to start. Any advice would be helpful.
Is it good to move on Devops from Linux Administration profile at 40 years of age? 14+ years of experience in multiple IT domains like IT support, windows admin and Lastly & currently on Linux Admin. Will MNC except such people on devops at this age?
Buddy, this is a tough situation. You will have to transition from linux/win admin, since the future there isn't rosy. Now, the challenge is to find a role that's commensurate to your experience in DevOps. Rather than focus on age, I would focus on upskilling.

Hi Savinder, I hope you are in a good health. I am from Karachi Pakistan, your video is truely motivational. I am currently working in an organization as a SERVICE SUPPORT ENGINEER. Where my role is to addressing customer issues and collaborate with devs and resolve the customer's raised issues. Beside my job I am learning DevOps. Because I want to switch my career. My motivationt start devops is to setup infrastructures and automate the process. Since my 7 years of experience is customer facing, I would like you to advice me that could benefit me. Thank you

Thanks bhai, for this very informative videos. All advice were straight from heart. Past 6 months I have been watching devops videos. This one for sure does the job
Hi Savinder -I have been in IT for over a decade, primarily working with an EAM tool, which has kept me away from programming for a long time. My career in this tool has matured, and I see no further growth opportunities. I want to learn and transition to DevOps, as I have some exposure to it in my current role and believe it would be a better fit for my career. However, my friends have advised me to move to full-stack development because it pays very well-some of them are earning crazy salaries. I'm in a dilemma. Could you shed some light on the career prospects in DevOps and the typical pay ranges in the market for someone with 12 years of IT experience?
anything can pay well, if you're really really good at it. What do you like to do - programming or DevOpsy stuff? if you're not sure, talk to some people in both the fields and figure out
Thank you sir. That was a great road map for beginners i am also 12th passout and start with my college next month. But i wanted ask whether getting involved in open source programs like gsoc and interacting with communities act like a cherry on the cake.?

I totally agree with the noise point of yours. Just keeping your head down working, cutting off social media does wonders for you. Your mind focuses towards the important things Instead of wandering around taking advice from people on internet who speak without any experience or knowledge.
je baat!
Sir I want start a leaning devops and start freelancing is it a good idea?
Programing and fundamentals of SDLC. These things that i have missed. I would focus on these things and start learning Python. Thank you so much

Great video and life changing suggestions! Just one correction !! Spelling of Career was wrong in some of the content. Nothing to worry because the message was clear.
Good eye - it was the wrong career :-)
First time i felt that on youtube, that someone giving me back support like a mamu sitting beside ❤

@@savinderpuri absolutely sir ji! I saw your podcast with technical suneja… your words at the end of the video was most inspiring which i need right now… “ bs upskill mein lge raho.. cut out the noise.. kch na kch to kr hi lenge” 🙂

Did my az-104, ai-900 next is az-305 which I’ll embark on in next 3 months for sure!!!
most important aspect of DevOps is troubleshooting and problem solving which he not talked in this video strange!!Nowadays freshers do development but while troubleshooting they can't able to know where to check logs even not able to troubleshoot login also..troubleshooting needs lots of brain power.
True.. troubleshooting does get frustrating n drains one out completely
I totally agree - troubleshooting is a great skill that needs to be developed by DevOps engineer. It needs the right mindset and practise. It’s a miss!
There were so many things to cover and still had to keep the video under 25 min to miss ho Gaya!
Sir aap ki kuch baatein dil ko chuu gayi aur maine paper par note bhi karliya. Thank you very much
ah man... kaunsi? I'm curious now :-)
@savinderpuri Aap ne jo kaha tha LinkedIn par weekly post, GitHub, HashNode, etc. was grt idea.
First of all I didn't know any college how it looks like from the inside. Meaning I am a primary school, 6th standard student. I quit my studies in 80's for financial reasons. Now I'm 43 years old. I have no Degree no certificate, nor do I have any diploma.
Aap jese logon se prerna lekar aur Google, RUclips ChatGPT, Social Media k madhiyam se is hadd tak pahoncha ki mai kuch bansakta hun aur mai banna chahta hun. Mere sapna cloud engineer hai. Jis k liye sab se pehle maine high speed typing seekha. Aur ab Linux seekh raha hun. Support me (not financial) encourage me n pray for me.
Sir kafi din se soch rha tha ke devops karu ya networking still confused not bc of u but i hv another circumstances, ya but i used to do meditation will try to continue from tomorrow 🙏🙏🙏🙏 thanks

Many more such videos to come.
wow... that was something!
100% agreement!!

Yes, it's possible if you're willing to do the work.

It’s wonderful to see this video…sir…Thanks A lot … lovely to see more such videos…👍

Keep building on this knowledge
2. Talk to your DevOps team on what you need to learn to get involved in their tasks
3. Certifications help you break through, but actual experience + projects is equally valuable

Any advice would be helpful.

as a fresher, can u give the resourses for devops learning from scratch
video on this coming soon - stay tuned!
I'm new one heading here, honestly it will work to follow salient points
awesome, which point did you like best?
Is it good to move on Devops from Linux Administration profile at 40 years of age? 14+ years of experience in multiple IT domains like IT support, windows admin and Lastly & currently on Linux Admin.
Will MNC except such people on devops at this age?
Buddy, this is a tough situation. You will have to transition from linux/win admin, since the future there isn't rosy. Now, the challenge is to find a role that's commensurate to your experience in DevOps.
Rather than focus on age, I would focus on upskilling.
Really needed this ..... Thank you sir for motivating me ill be back here after year m
awesome
Love you sir Thank you for spreading light, I am really greatful for you ❤❤❤🙏

Hi Savinder, I hope you are in a good health. I am from Karachi Pakistan, your video is truely motivational.
I am currently working in an organization as a SERVICE SUPPORT ENGINEER. Where my role is to addressing customer issues and collaborate with devs and resolve the customer's raised issues. Beside my job I am learning DevOps. Because I want to switch my career. I learned Linux (Ubuntu), Networkin (TCP/IP) suite and web servers e.g NGINX and APACHE. I also learned Docker for containerization and deployed an application on AWS ECS FARGATE.

This one for sure does the job
thanks Fahad, once you talk from the heart, people can understand.
What do you like to do - programming or DevOpsy stuff?
if you're not sure, talk to some people in both the fields and figure out
dil jeet liya sir ne.........
sorry about that ;-)
Precious guidanvet. Bahaut kuch sikhne ko.mila sir.

Thank you sir. That was a great road map for beginners i am also 12th passout and start with my college next month. But i wanted ask whether getting involved in open source programs like gsoc and interacting with communities act like a cherry on the cake.?
it does, however make sure your contributions are of quality. Just making open source contributions for the sake of it will not help.
