Such a helpful video. My acoustic kills my fingers sometimes and I was wondering if I should go to a classical guitar for comfort, but the wide neck made me pause. Hybrid neck is what I'll search for now. Thank you, gentlemen! Now if only I could play like Jesse Cook!

Yeah, I started off with a nylon guitar my Dad gave me for my 16th birthday back in 2014, and still rocking it to this day, because I can't afford to buy another guitar. I was so frustrated bcs it's so hard for me to do barred chords (I didn't know the neck is slightly different between nylon guitar and steel strings) hahaha... But now I just kinda go along with it and play it as best as I could with my fat short fingers, while saving up for a new guitar.

Great video. I started with my old nylon strings guitar but unfortunately I found the neck too wide...so I went to different acoustic guitars to end up with a 000000-15M Martin. 🎶🎶🎶

My hands are pretty small actually, but I do have skinny fingers for sure 👋
