Fascinating. My mother was a homecare assistant visiting old people in their houses. During the seventies, she cared for an old lady who lived to be hundred and she remembers talk of jack the ripper . She would have been about twenty at the time.she told us that she remembered hearing about it. Old people are living history books.

When i finally had my sons grown and could start finding myself again i got very sick and need a heart transplant and then 4 months later a tricuspid value transplant. Now that im fully healed health good and passport in hand i get a call. I will probably never get to travel the way i want to and thats ok but i can see so much through you guys and 2 other creators. It is interesting how things have changed. I visited the UK back in 1999 and then about 6 months later in the Millennium year of 2000. Accidentally I was pointed to and I got on the wrong train line in the Victoria station. That particular incorrect train line, took me out to whitechapel. And I got to be honest with you the Whitechapel that I saw in 1999 and in the year 2000 did not look anything like what I'm seeing today on your video. So I guess they really have come up in the world as we say here in America.

@@RileEren I still remember Whitechapel being a little bit 'rough' back then as it is now. I hear it's even worse now.
However, the biggest difference between then versus now is that there weren't a lot of businesses closed and shunted like, there is now today.
Another thing that I don't necessarily remember seeing is that there weren't as, many people who 'bottomed out' in life and in society and who are now basically living off the streets. Didn't see very much of that when I visited back in 1999 and 2000.
