I like your craftmanship, nice work Dr!
Love this idea. Wish everyone thought things thru before building a deck around a hot tub.
Great video, Dr!! Thank you
Very nice job on those access panels..the are seamless...
@drdecks is there a video of the trim installation?
Great deck design around the spa! Do you have a link to the finished result?
Do you happen to have a video of the trim installation?
Love it
@drdecks can you recommend an alternative to the nylo sheet that a regular consumer can purchase?
How Spongy is that section when you walk on it? I need to do something similar and this is a great option.
Love your video. Except I need start to finish of how to build the decking around my hot tub, with access panels which is already on a cement pad.
We will be building a floating deck (12' x 14') over a larger (12' x 24') aggregate concrete patio in the Spanaway area. I'm worried about how to periodically pressure wash the aggregate under the deck to prevent the mold that is sure to grow! Should I consider a hidden access panel(s), or maybe just removable facia boards? Since the patio is only one year old and in pristine condition, I'm thinking of using TuffBlocks to support the deck. Any suggestions?
would you prefer to put the pool down first then the decking?
How do you handle the water that goes through the deck from rain?
Can I use these brackets to make the whole deck removable? I am making a deck over the rainwater drain and want to have an option to access it whenever needed. Was wondering if I could make whole deck (except for border) removable using these brackets.
Yes but jacuzzi tubs require that you pull corner panels out first and you won't be able to do it with the design you are showing here. Hopefully you checked how the panel comes out first.
