I used iOverlander for a few ideas on areas to look. We got lucky with having Ron from Ridgeback Guide Service hang out with us on Day 1 and confirm some of our ideas.
South and north ends of the national forest seem to have more spots on the forest roads. During summer there are a handful of state parks with paid traditional camping as well.
I’m definitely going to check this area out in the spring of 23.. My wife and I both love the Vermont area, plus we are pretty close.
Same here I'm in Swanton VT and my son will be there with his taco
@@edkelley6916 10 of us did Vermont on Memorial Day.. Mostly ran blue trails..
@scottreynolds273 where you guys located?
You found some excellent roads... I'd like to visit the area FO SURE...
If you didn’t see part 1 check it out. The best roads are more like trails 🤘
Good Vid, Good Wheeling, Good beer...Great Fire!
Not bad for a “random exploration day” 🙌

Love this video. I'd love to do this.
Anybody can! Just good old public roads. 🤙 thanks for watching!
Looks awesome. Which campground is it. Looks super nice
Not a campground. Dispersed camping in the north end of Green Mountain National Forest. 👌
Did you have any issues finding a site? I assume you don’t reserve them
@@JonathanVanRyzin we got in Friday around 5 and saw a few open. It’s a crapshoot but worth it.
Would love to do this . Where can I get info on these trails.
I have the roads labeled in the description. They’re all public roads so just google them or look them up on Gaia GPS and plan your route!
@@DarksideOffRoad Thank you 🙏
Bigfoot is gonna be pissed you put his campfire out.
How did you find the camping spots? We have a small group and plan on camping this summer in that area.
