I’d say gta 5s protagonists have the happiest ending because option C is Canon so they all live and carry on after pulling off the biggest heist at that time
in Ryder's defense, he never wanted to sell out his friends. he was practically forced to thx to Big Smoke having him under his thumb since Ryder knew about him workin with CRASH. if he refused, he would die. Ryder was like "Can't have that" n had to go along with it cuz he wasnt trying to die especially when CRASH would get away with it. if u play his missions, he does things to help the Grove while Smoke was tryna help himself and CRASH
I’m playing trough San Andreas now as we speak. This mission was hard back when I used to play it as a kid, but now that my driving doesn’t suck it was one of the easier missions, in terms of driving. Smooth driving and Big Smoke had no choice but to hit his targets. A tone of the missions are easy now that I play it, but the story and gameplay is just as good now as it was back then. I still question why we don’t have stats for your character and weapons, different fighting styles etc. in newer gta games.
Leave Big Smoke there, ride as far ahead of the train as you can until you reach the dirt paths on the other side of the tunnel, take out your AK or M16 and start shooting until you take out all 4 guys on the train. Then go back and pick up Big Smoke. Why we all failed was because Smoke was too damned heavy and too many obstacles. As long as they don't make it to the bridge taking them to Las Venturas.
The more I think about it, the more I realize that this is probably the best written story out of the GTA series. Not to mention the one with heavy themes of social commentary.
CJ: appreciate the vid homie. Donji: no problem, hey why do you always have a star up? Cj:you know how they do,always giving brothers stars for no reason.
I redid the whole story not too long ago, and I had forgotten how tough it really was. I hadn't played the game since 2005 I passed the entire game first time towards the end of 2005. Started in 2004 when I first got the game I probably would have finished it but some kids had stolen my copy of the game. So I buy another copy of the game and had to start all over again. And probably finished the game within two weeks. I started playing it again back in July and finished it around August. Some of the hardest missions I played included the wrong side of the tracks, chasing a witness down a mountain, Pier 69 where we had to take out Ryder, Flight School, stealing a jet fighter, making the pursuing planes crash into buildings, and destroying targets, last but not least chasing Officer Tenpenny and a fire truck all while trying to save CJ's brother Sweet. And you want to know something guys? it was probably one of the best games ever made and the story could not be more realistic than that. makes me want to do it all over again
This has to be one of my favorite episodes. Not only was the game accurately explained. You threw in real life facts!!! My dad was a gang affiliate around the time of the watts riots and has hella stories too
*I never grew up on GTA.* I only ever played the recent. Started looking into it’s prior games since someone said I looked like CJ and it was ‘so badass’. I was confused as hell, so this helped.
I love how they refer to sections of the game as "Arches" like this is an anime. Matter of fact i would love for the people who made the Boondocks make an anime based off this game
Honest Gaming History is a great series! It's nice to catch up on details we may have forgotten. Story-wise GTA 3 & San Andreas are my favorites. In the future I'd love for you to do a Samus version if you haven't already.
I'm remember that my mom would let me play this on ps2 but I had to be a respectful driver and saying sorry for every car I hit that was really funny for my parents lol
Since you covered CJ in "GTA: San Andreas," You should definitely do a Video on either Red Harlow, John Marston or Arthur Morgan in the *"Red Dead"* series (Revolver and Redemption 1, 2).
I remember when my brother would play San Andreas all the time when he was younger, it was the best game we ever owned both in gameplay and in the story, there was also a ton of facts about the game I didn't know about until I saw this video, thanks for that man.
Bro they have to make a movie about the Making of this game. Seeing real street dudes work with video game programmers and finding shared bonds and disposition for the system would be a beautiful thing to see in a movie.
The Voice of CJ is the Cousin of the Voice of Franklin, Denise is the Aunt of Franklin in GTA. DEADASS JUST CONFIRMED THERE GENERATIONS TO GAMING 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Best vid Ever also do Cahal Filin as a one shot please😆😆😆 also Samuel L. Jackson voiced that crazy cop, DAANG, WELP THAT EXPLAINS THE FLEXING THAT COP HAD
@@WSFMontana I tried doing it again. But like I said, I only managed to do it once. Not going to stop me from trying again. I have a save file specifically for that mission.
FRIDAY 2 is my personal favorite and because I saw it on Spanish dub cover. Funny as heck. Ice Cube & Chris Tucker are a great duo. And cool avatars, fam.
CJ was and still is a GTA main character I like even now and not just because he was the first playable black guy in the series as far as I know. I liked his story, his arc and come on you get a jetpack AND your main villain is Samuel Jackson aka Nick Fury! I mean THAT made San Andreas my favorite game is the series but it is still nice to get the recap in CJ's life and he should come back someday. Fantastic work as usual Donte and sweet new avatars!
Yo donte my guy video was fire as always but suggestion for the next honest gaming history I think its only fitting that u do Franklin's story next its about time
Young maylay is currently hates rockstar and he is not going to be involved for gta 6 according to himself and his cousin solo(shawn fonteno) a.k.a franklin
What i meant to say. Young maylay is no interested of returning as cj for gta 6 because of Michael hollick. The voice of niko of gta 4 for exposing the truth about rockstar's secret
Big bear was introduced to crack because he would not do what smoke would by crash thy drop big bear before release but had big part in the beta something like that
I'm not gonna lie, I was born in a pretty racist household (Soviet era family and all that..) my family would bash black people for really stupid reasons anyone else can be blamed with, anyway me and my brother started playing this game when I was 6 years old and he was 12 so growing up playing as CJ, laughing at the silly jokes I barely understood because I barely knew English, blowing up police and completing missions helped me not be alienated like my family to black people so I grew up with modern values even though I wouldn't be surprised if I'd turned out to be a racist scumbag if I didn't play the game as a kid, anyway my family is no longer racist, had a Ethiopian girlfriend, parents got used to her, stopped being so oblivious and ignorant and obviously we all good now. Man I would play this game SO MANY times, passed it like 5 time throughout my childhood and even now as a young adult I still enjoy going back to the old CJ and the amazing story GTA SA offers.
@@TheBlackMastadonte yea, in retrospect, it made me realize that most racism and hatred that exists in our world isn't caused by something actually happening to a person that makes him hate, my parents grew up on EXTREMELY racist soviet propaganda cartoons, add that to the fact they never met an actual guy who's black... now what happens? ignorance, stupidity, people are scared of the unknown, that's just how it works, so because they never met one, they rather hate them than be open to changing their minds by actually meeting one.
Funny enough, by GTA's standards, CJ has probably the happiest ending among other GTA protagonists
True
I’d say gta 5s protagonists have the happiest ending because option C is Canon so they all live and carry on after pulling off the biggest heist at that time
@@ZetsuboNoShima actually no after gta sa cj became a successful actor
@Noah Gunawan of course, why not.
Tommy has a Happy ending
CJ's story is the most realistic I think that's why a lot of people prefer san andreas vs others but not only that but my this was amazing
Ik and its storyline
Cj's story is definitely the most relatable. But Tommy Vercetti had a pretty good Come up story too
Are we forgetting Niko?
Starting from nothing and then lead a million dollar empire. That's what I liked in this game
Nah it's because it's the best GTA game ever made.
I want a two number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda
Awesome food selection 😏
Trash can bitch !! 😂🤣 … epic scene 💪🏾💪🏾
Might as well make Honest Gaming History videos on every GTA protagonist.
I can’t wait for this video

Big Smoke has the Worst Aim than a freaking Stormtrooper in Star Wars.
Or the Enemies are just freaking Bullet Sponges.
@@philipbessong6842 I'll take the flight school over the driving courses.

The more I think about it, the more I realize that this is probably the best written story out of the GTA series. Not to mention the one with heavy themes of social commentary.
Thank you for keeping my story alive. Gangsters these days ain't shit.

Donji: no problem, hey why do you always have a star up?

Actually have this game on my PS2 oh yeah and also
Truly a CJ prequel story would give him more depth for San Andreas. Like before his Liberty City story.
Agreed

Seems like a lot of actors end up falling out with Rockstar. Vice City, San Andreas, GTA IV... all have similar stories with their cast.
Really? I gotta look into those
Which is unfortunate I like rockstar but they need to make right with them actors
Niko’s actor

Lmao glad I could help
Solo also voiced one of the random Grove Street members in San Andreas
Oh yeah. I did read that somewhere. Thanks for the reminder
Great video man. CJ and the whole game is iconic!!
Yeah.
I love how they refer to sections of the game as "Arches" like this is an anime. Matter of fact i would love for the people who made the Boondocks make an anime based off this game
For a man who is really rich, CJ is really humble to only using white sleveless shirt and also blue baggy jeans, what a guy
