Ya know, with Liu Kang being in charge of creating a whole new timeline, it kinda sorta opens up the possibility of a Mortal Kombat mmo game. Because technically anyone can be the new Chosen One
@@TheBlackMastadonte I mostly play mk 8 (as is dubbed by the creators) for the aesthetic a lot the mechanics give off, feels more personal than the transitions in injustice (though I do dislike lack of fatalities, understandable but disiked). Mk 9's plot inconsistencies and the battle system the game utilized for it's story just felt like a downplay for a lotta characters and their abilities in my opinion. Sindel can get whooped in one battle but basically bulldozed an entire squad of Earthrealm warriors, not fodder but actual other characters. They did the same thing in injustice 1-2 as well, four fights the character wins and then they either take beatings the rest of the game or offer up nothing significant/of note til way late in the campaign. Then again it's like you said, all opinion, I respect yours as well.
