It's because of the tone of the person asking the questions. If they were doing multiple takes of every question, that would explain how rehearsed and disconnected from the previous response every question is. At first I thought that the questions were edited in with ADR.

Joseph's interviewing is so painful, that probably gave cole even more juice to dig in. I thought he was gonna break character when he called him "philisophical"
By the way, "bienvenido" means "welcome" in Spanish. So it's either he mistook a greeting sign or there is some strange Spanish person who named their son "bienvenido" as a joke.

I've met a lot of people with surnames that would seem strange in the language/country it originated from because it's like saying a common word.
