Love how Scott openly admits he won the sweepstakes and then goes on for an extra 10 minutes questioning if anyone won them.
He is so brave!
I can't believe he was the winner every single time! Such a humble man for only revealing it now
He's just trying to bait out any liars, who have doctored pictures and videos of them pretending to be enjoying the rewards. We know Scott is the real winner.
No, you didn't listen. He clearly won the sweepstakes but he was the only one to actually publicize about it and he wants others to do the same.
Anyone else* won them
so proud of scott for winning the danimals sweepstake and getting to meet cole and dylan sprouse, so inspiring
I'm so glad he won, I followed him on TikTok, Twitter, RUclips, Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp, SoundCloud, and Twitter. Then I made 10 more accounts on all those platforms and followed him again!
Mystery solved
i went to the sweepstakes with scott, that was the first time i met him
I heard that Scott even got to crush Dylan Sprouse
@@charlesw7397 damn really? i heard he's the one moseby killed in that car accident in the 90s
Hello, Scott. CEO of DANIMALS in 2008, here. Just wanted to say it’s good to see you again. You were the best kid to win our sweepstakes by a landslide. We had a plaque on the wall commemorating your visit and regularly reminisced of the unprecedented joy you brought to the halls of the DANIMALS headquarters. Thank you for the impact you made on this humble little CEO’s life. I wish you were my son
Hahahaha "I wish you were my son" Sounds like Danimals, Inc., were the real winners that day.
"I wish you were my son" is WILD
Lmaoo shut up hahahha
Nobody call them mommy.
Not a chance in hell you were a ceo of daminals in 2008.
My wife actually entered that HSM music video sweepstakes. Granted, she didn’t win, but she got a confirmation from Disney that she would receive from a selection of prizes, from which she selected. About 5 months later, she got a letter from Ashley Tisdale, who played her favorite character, Sharpay Evans in the movies. She has that letter framed in our bedroom
Honestly if I got a letter from one of the cast I also would have probably framed it lol
As she should ❤
🎉🤯😊
Well what does it say?
generic stuff like thanks for entering and being a fan of the movies. Ashley is actually the name of her sister
A letter from the legend herself? That is so awesome!!
Can confirm Scott won the sweepstakes. I personally saw him on the “wall of danimals winners” when I took a tour of the danimals factory

I remember that too. The entire factory was run by animals named Dan

I won a Disney channel contest!!! (Not one like those but here's my story)
Disney used to have a part of their website called Disney Create where you could make art and post it for people to see. They used to host contests like every other week, and I entered one where you make a comic about Phineas and Ferb having the best day ever. And I won! Disney sent me an art tablet as a prize which was cool, and I later learned that Dan and Swampy (the show's creators) helped pick the winner!
It may not be one of the big contests, but now someone else has said on the internet, "I won a Disney Channel contest" :)
That’s super cool
i loved that create section! i miss it so much, i made comics on there all the time. i think i actually still have some printed out somewhere. congrats on winning!
@@fusetunes Someone knows what I’m talking about omg
Ladies and gents we have officially sniffed out another one!!!! (Admittedly a smaller prize which is still flippin cool especially as a kid but it would make sense if they only actually gave out the prizes for the smaller contests 👀 Disney conspiracy they never gave out all the huge prizes cuz we all know they’re soooo money hungry about everything [ie plz give the sprouse boys a day off someone free them], so WHY would they GIVE OUT THE PRIZES when they could just PRETEND THEY ACTUALLY PICKED A WINNER INSTEAD??? 😂) I’m like 80% joking but also wouldn’t be surprised if that were true sooooooo.
Anyways congratulations on winning!!! Legit super cool thing to win and I hope you get all the clout the internet owes you 😊
YES!! Congrats I remember that!!
I won a Disney/Lunchables sweepstakes ~2001. I remember my parents being shocked because they assumed it would be rigged. But yeah they sent me every single Disney Channel original movie that existed up until that point (could be little kid brain but I wanna say it was ~100 movies). All of them were VHS so my prize didn't age well but it's still my favorite fun fact to share during an icebreaker. :)
That aged insanely well. Have you looked up the prices on the rarer ones? My Date With The Presidents Daughter goes for $$$
Those VHS tapes are probably now worth more than their weight in gold
Hope you still have them! That's awesome
They are gonna be worth a lot if you still got them me an my brother had a chest full of old VHS tapes from Disney but they are gone now
@@devoninheaven4143wow really it was a good movie too
My theory was that all the winners had to sign non disclosure agreements. But seeing how Scott is talking about it, I guess not. Congrats Scott!
That doesn't really make any sense though. Disney would want people to talk about it to generate more hype and interest
Must not have though. Why didnt disney promote the people who won then?? I always thought these were fake. And maybe some were real but i doubt it
@@Tampafan33yeah I assume a lot of these were just to get engagement
@@Azurethewolf168the only issue is that is super illegal. I doubt a multi billion dollar company is going to commit a fake sweepstakes scam.
@@cameronhayes5393 then who won?
Hey Scott! My mom was a professional sweepstaker from 1998-2004. She won over 100 trips, 6 cars, a PS2 (god did I flip out that day), and many other things. We once had won so much free Snapple that we ended up hating it lol. We never won a Disney sweepstakes bc they were usually national entries, but local sweepstakes and Coca-Cola were our bread and butter. Oh yeah and she also won me a Wrigley field experience where I met Sammy Sosa (and all the other Cubs). That was a weird day. This was a great video!
i didn't even know that was a thing lol
How is getting to meet an entire major league team a weird day?
@@TchSktchtechnically it's not a "real" thing, but some people make a BUNCH of money off of just entering into contests and sweepstakes. There was actually a really messed up Japanese reality tv show from the early 2000s where the tv studio essentially kidnapped a man under the guise of "being casted on a mystery reality tv show" and forced him to strip, then made him survive for a year in an empty room just based on what he could win by applying in various sweepstakes. It's super interesting if you want to check it out, look up "nasubi sweepstakes"
@@dudemanofdude it was before a baseball game so the stadium was completely empty besides the winners and the players. Plus I was the only 11 yr old girl there with all boys and I couldn’t have cared less about baseball. My dad was stoked as hell tho!
@@kf2405 I never heard of that story before. Interesting! She definitely treated it like a job but “professional” was probably not the best word to use. It was her main source of income. We had to pay taxes on everything so she would write off all the expenses from envelopes, 3x5 cards, stamps, etc. we usually just sold the cars to pay for taxes. It’s near impossible to do what she was doing back then today. The internet made it a lot more difficult to win bc scamming was becoming more of an issue plus mass bot entries were becoming a common factor.
I actually was there when Scott won the danimals sweepstakes. He was crying tears of joy hanging with Dylan and Cole. I even heard Cole say “one day you are gonna be as famous as me”..
Not sure if anyone will see this, but my cousins won one of the danimals. They made a music video and won so they got to meet the spouse twins. :)
I won a sweepstakes that was not sponsored by Disney but was Disney "adjacent" I guess. The sweepstakes was to fly to Hollywood to go to a small Jonas Brothers concert at the Roxy. I got to meet the Jonas Brothers before the concert, and my dad and I got to stand front center right by Joe's mic. Joe held my hand at times during some songs. It was literally all my 13-year-old self could ever ask for.
I'm so jealous. What a cool memory
that sounds straight from wattpad!
@@fusetunesHas to be a recording somewhere.
I just love how Scott is so humble. He could have used the fact that he won the Danimals Sweepstakes for clout when he first started his channel, but did he? No! He waited until he already had built up a following, earned solely on his merit and creativity, before telling everyone that he was the winner. What a guy!
It’s a good thing we finally know who won the Danimals sweepstakes. That’s for revealing that and congratulations, Scott!
As a winner of the Jetix Summer Quest for 1,000 Prizes Sweepstakes, I can confirm they were real.
I won an iPod Nano. I remember getting up on random summer days as a wee little lad. It was very early in the morning and I would force my mom to enter the codes because I was a little rule-follower. Each time she’d tell me I wasn’t going to win. Around September or October of that year, I had completely forgotten about the competition but a package came in the mail with a letter from Disney congratulating me. I still have the iPod somewhere. The letter, I’m not sure (believe it or not 8 y/o’s generally don’t care about letters). I do remember that they told me explicitly that the iPod was worth ~$150 which I thought was weird.
I was confused as to why this wasn't a more popular comment till I realized how soon this comment was posted
(Edit: just realized when this video was posted so sorry)
The iPod is worth more now
I'm guessing the value was for tax purposes. If the worth is under a certain amount, it doesn't have to be taxed as income.
“Quest for 1,000 Prizes” is the name of my next DnD campaign
I won a Bionicle sweepstakes once at Jetix, I got Axonn.
You caught me Scott. I won the Disney Dog Sweepstakes. Bob Iger came to my house and handed me a twenty pound bag of dog food (we had no dog). He was in sweats and smelled like alcohol. After that he then invited himself inside, ate a can of soup, and then called me a hound before leaving in a ford mini van. This is completely real and to prove it I pinky promise.
In 2012, my wife and I won a trip to Jamaica 🇯🇲 in a McDonalds Monopoly contest. We've told a few people and their reaction is the same each time: "Oh neat. I never knew anyone actually won those." I think part of the reason why people dont talk about those for the clout is because its actually kind of hard to find/target the audience who cares about that stuff the way you can with this channel.
I loved the old McDonalds Monopoly games. My roomates in college and I won a lot of stuff, but not the trip.
@@wheelerthree That's how my [now wife] started playing. It was a cheap date in college. Go down to McD's, grab a large fry and large drink (6 pieces total), and get a small rush out of playing the game and entering them online. I don't know how much McD made from us, but it sure wasn't the value of that trip.
Holy crap, I didn’t think anyone ever won big prizes like that except the friends/family of that guy who rigged the contest. The documentaries have lied to me! 😫
@caittails The prize fulfillment was handled by a contracted third party service. I think a few years prior, McDonald's got slammed for exactly what you described.
I remember winning some barbie sweepstakes. They sent me an inflatable photo frame and I got to meet barbie herself. I thought it was a fever dream until I actually found the photo frame in my garage.

I’m glad Scott is doing the research on the things that keep me up at night.
He’s the only man for the job.
im just happy he won the Danimals Sweepstakes back in 2008/2009
There was almost no usable research in this video because there was no answer to the question.
@@TheReflecterThere were 5+ examples of winners and only 1 that wasn’t answered and that’s because the answer was Scott won the Danimals sweepstakes cope
@@TheReflecter Yes there was, the answer he found was that he had won the sweepstakes all along.
I recently read through the rules of a sweeptakes contest I entered and one thing that stood out to me was that you had to reply within 24 hours of being notified of winning or else you would forfeit your prize. I don't think its crazy to think that parents might get the notification, think its a scam and not reply or just not reply within the allotted time frame and miss the prize.
That was my exact thought! Whenever I get those I think oh scam and move on
I won an all expense paid cruise to the Bahamas when I was younger. I told my mom, who thoroughly convinced me it was a scam. About a week later I decided to dig into it and it was legit. Still haven’t been in a cruise because of the crazy prices and time availability
Fun fact: the "no purchase necessary" line is there as a loophole to gambling laws. Since sweepstakes can be classified as raffles, which are a form of gambling, giving the option to sign up for free legally clears the company from lawsuits. They intentionally make entering for free as convoluted as possible, but the option is there.

This isn't technically at all related to the official Disney Channel sweepstakes, but I can confirm that I did win a prize for calling into Radio Disney 💀they were like "hey listeners, when you hear a splash sound effect soon, call in and let us know which song it was played in to win a prize !!" so I miraculously made it through, told them the song (it was a Zendaya song so thank you Zendaya, very cool of you) and won a DVD that was indeed shipped to me, all totally legit-definitely one of the highlights of my 11 year old life haha
Which DVD was it?

I remember the day I got home from school and turned on my TV to see a young Scott Cramer claiming his prize on the live TV Danimals sweepstakes drawing. I was shocked, having turned on CBBC and not a Disney channel being in the UK and not having cable, but I later found out that Scott's win was such a big event that it was the only thing being shown on all children's entertainment channels in all English speaking countries. What a night, has television ever come close to that night that Scott Cramer won the 2008 / 2009 Danimals sweepstake?
So glad we finally found out that it was Scott that won the danimals sweepstakes UNLESS PROVEN OTHERWISE…………….
this is so funny
My sister and I won a Target and Hello Kitty sweepstakes!!! We got basically every Hello Kitty item that Target was selling- sheets, nasty gummy candy, a HUGE Hello Kitty pillow that was basically a bean bag chair, lots of clothing, and stickers. Lots and lots of stickers.
While not Disney sweepstakes, I won two different sweepstakes from Nickelodeon. They were lower tier prizes and not the grand prizes but I won a ICarly DVD box set for one of their contests and a SpongeBob & Patrick backpack set from a Kid Cuisine contest themed around being best friends. Entering sweepstakes was a lot of fun, nothing like the feeling of hearing that “many will enter, few will win” as I rushed to the computer to enter!
Love that you shouted out Ashley. She did a crazy deep dive into the danimals sweepstakes
Same here! Ashley is the best.

It’s good to know that we’ve finally found out who won the Danimal’s Sweepstake. Who would have known it was Scott Cramer.
I'm so proud of Scott for trying to find his fellow Disney sweepstakes winners. Congrats on winning the Danimals sweepstakes Scott!
My one friend in elementary school won the Corry in the House sweepstakes. She brought back a whole bunch of pictures of her with the cast, along with pictures on the set. I don't remember it being a sweepstakes, but apparently it was 😅
I'mma be real with you Scott, in like 2018 my family won a sweepstakes called Nickelodeon Trivia Prizefest Live, which had multiple prizes, but the thing we won was a 2 day trip to LA and 500 dollars spending money, and a trip to the set of a Nickelodeon Show (Henry Danger was the one we got which was cool bc it was like our favourite show). Also we didn't see a live taping but they did do a run through of an episode that was yet to release
I looked it up and there was never any prize like that for this sweepstake..

I have always wondered about these sweepstakes and I assumed they were scams, even as a kid because it just sounded too good to be true or too true to be free of charge. Thanks for solving the mystery for us!
It kinda is
Yeah, I was wondering if maybe some kids did win them, but their parents got a letter/phone call/email, and were like “nah, this must be a scam.” And didn’t follow up with it.
That "Time is Right" joke had me cracking up. Like laughing out loud for a period of time that made my Nieces uneasy. They thought their uncle turned into the Joker for moment.
Not a sweepstakes, but back around 2011 when Disney Create (art website) was still a thing, my brother and sister entered an art contest with their own separate drawings and they BOTH won. They each got their own prize, which was the game Disney Universe on the Wii and a special note inside. 😎

I won a Radio Disney sweepstakes once! It was for tickets to go see a Dr. Seuss show, but my mom answered the phone and told them we couldn't go because it was on a Sunday. When she told me, she said she felt like it was only right to let me know I won, even if we were not going to go. All that to say, at least that sweepstake was real!
Edit: I feel like maybe I should mention that not seeing this show did not change my life. This happened over ten years ago. I still don't usually go places on Sunday. Although, I am a little more lax about it now because I work in film and the schedule gets weird. I promise I had a good childhood!

I remember making my very first video on one of my favorite shows, whodunnit - only for the reality show king to make his version a few weeks earlier. Glad I could finally steal your thunder.
The only TV sweepstakes I've seen the winners comment about is one Nickelodeon did when iCarly ended (the first time) and they sent the winners props from the show. One day a few years ago one of them posted about it on TikTok and a couple others came forward and showed their prizes and it was pretty cool to see.
That’s exactly what I was thinking about while watching this
i won a lot of stuff from radio disney's winning wednesday, mostly gift bags, sometimes concert tickets, one time it was a meet n greet w the freshman from hsm3.
i remember seeing a twitter thread or something a few years ago about someone who claimed to have won the danimals sweepstakes. he said he was super excited but then turns out he wasnt eligable bc he lived in puerto rico, which led to the whole comment section debating whether or not danimals did that on purpose.
Congratulations Scott! I think everyone is clamoring to know, what was the best part of winning the danimals sweepstakes?
Hanging out with the stars!!!
@@ScottCramer Stupendous! Based on that testimony it's clear you were the true and rightful winner of the danimals sweepstakes! Congrats again!
I love how Scott isn't even trying to segue into the October 16th bit anymore. He just needs to tell us of our crimes.
Scott DID win the danimals sweepstakes!! The reason that the twins claim they “don’t remember” him is because he was just too cool and they were worried he’d outshine them.
It's not Disney, but I won a Nickelodeon sweepstakes in India. I think the laws were very slightly different because they made you answer a (very simple) question about a cartoon first. I remember winning a red bike with a little light on it and having to drive two hours with my dad to go pick it up. 😂
The US used to have similar laws, I believe, or rather specific states did so contests would have to do something like that to operate nation-wide. There's a Doug episode sort-of about it. The shadier ones would have you answer a (generally pretty easy) puzzle and send the answer along with 'shipping and handling', which would be some amount obviously far more than required for shipping. The more legit ones would call you (or have you call in for radio shows) and answer some trivially easy question. US radio personalities John Boy and Billy have a parody of those called the 'current events quiz' where the answer is always 'C', and they tell you that when you get on the air.
Not sure when that changed but apparently most states no longer have those laws.
I can confirm Scott won, the Scott Council was alerted as soon as he opened the letter and was instantly put into the Scott hall of fame because of it.
Disney + Sweepstakes is truly an incredible Scott Cramer crossover
I was a runner up winner to a Danimals Sweepstake but sadly that obviously means I didn’t win. However, I was devastated and needed to know who had beat me. When I asked the person who had given me the other information she said a kid by the name of Scott ;; I would be VERY surprised if they did not mean Scott Cramer!
Hey Scott! Sadly I’m not the Danimals winner; however I may have won a different sweepstakes and not been aware? I’m from Michigan and went to a charter school in my kindergarten and first grade years. We had many fun events and one of them was us getting to meet the choreographers for the first High School Musical. They taught us “We’re All in This Together” (I don’t remember much because I was 5 lol but I can do the intro still at least). It was an awesome childhood memory I will never forget! I’m curious now though if that was a sweepstake and if it was ever mentioned on Disney Channel at any point around 2005 like the Colorado one in 2009 for the second movie. It’d be really cool if it was but I never even thought about it. Anyways, thank you so much for making me smile and remember a cool childhood memory! 😊
Oooh interesting. It is highly possible someone in your school did win a sweepstakes for that. The other possibility is one of the coreographers went there in the past or had a kid/relative that went there at the time.
That’s part of the video, are you in it?!

The pastor of my church won one of the sweepstakes when I was really young. Some construction workers showed up at his house and turned his backyard into a Disney Princess paradise. The reason I remember was because he used it as a sermon illustration once
Something I think would be also interesting is that these sweepstakes did happen during the 2008 recession. I wonder how many families redeemed the cash alternative and just never told their kids they won. Not in a malicious way but tbh in an uncertain economic time, an extra 1-2k can't hurt.
i remember a super secret disney newspaper that said that scott cramer won the danimals sweepstakes, can 100% confirm this hapenned
I'm very happy you mentioned Ashley's video, I love her and her videos. She's really great!
Now that you mention it, I do remember seeing Scott at the Danimals factory. I was there because I lost the sweepstakes and part of the prize for the winner was getting to make fun of all of the losers in person. Why’d you leave that part out, Scott? You sprayed me with a fire hose.
I might know who won the Danimals sweepstakes!? My friend's ex said he won it when he was a kid (got the lid that indicated he won the grand prize to meet them) BUT he said since he didnt have Internet or a computer and his mom wouldn't take him to a library or anything to register his prize, he THREW IT AWAY. I would love to look at the language of the contracts. I'm curious about the structure of entering these went given that those entering were potentially frequently minors. This also brings into question who wins, as I would assume it's an adult guardian, not the minor. As these sometimes have a smaller alternative cash prize, and thus if this is the case, I wonder how many kitchen renovations happened instead of a suite experience. Also, this was just briefly touched upon, but the winner is responsible for the taxes on the prize, meaning many of these were possibly foregone due to the cost. You are required to report market value of the prize as income, meaning an exceptionally large prize would even put the winners in a different tax bracket. This means prizes were likely thousands of dollars in taxes, probably around 25% on the total winnings depending on state/bracket/ECT. Winners would have received a 1099-MISC outlining the taxes on this. Honestly, putting myself in the shoes of a parent, I might just never tell the child that we won rather than try to explain that we couldn't afford $15,000 in taxes.
My thoughts exactly, couldn't have summed it up any better if I tried.
Wow winning sweepstakes has garnered you clout, respect, and validation as a person in my eyes, Scott Cramer, winner of the danimals Disney channel sweepstakes
Sometime between 2003 and 2007 I won a Disney Sweepstakes in germany for Mothersday. (sadly can't narrow it closer than that, as I can only go by when we moved away from the house we won it in/at)
You had to call the Disney Channel and explain over a hotline why YOUR mother deserved to win the sweepstakes.
I actually forgot I had called, until we came back from a holiday and our neighbour told us we had gotten a MASSIVE flower arrangement for Mothersday.
Obvs the flowers had sat outside for a while, so only a handful were still good. But given the card said something like "(insert mame) said you are the best Mother. Happy Mothersday!"
That’s actually sweet though! I hope your mother was happy about it
@@daydream5120 Yeah! it became a fun anecdote! Obvs the flowers had gone mostly bad, but the story was funny and we put the few good ones in a vase for like a week.
If I remember this correctly, they had a Teen Beach Movie Sweepstake where you could win a surfboard. My older sister participated in it (She can not surf let alone swim but she was a kid yknow 😂) and she won. For some reason though, she did not get the surfboard. I don't know if it was rigged or something, but I think I remember her telling me that our dad did something to mess up the system on accident causing her to basically win but also lose I guess? My memory isn't the best but I swear that she did win, but she just didn't get the prize. I vividly remember her screaming with joy about how she won and calling me over to the family computer to see. Maybe they gave it to someone else.
I think this could be a whole scheme to sell information in a time where it wasn’t that common. It would have been really valuable to sell information at that time I think. That explains not always having a winner…
Wow, Scott is such a winner. Winning sweepstakes and being in Charlie and the chocolate factory.
My lord, I cackled audibly for ages with "I wear my watch on my dominant wrist - because the time is right!"
“I wear my watch on my dominant arm; the time is right” is a fucking BAR
I won a few small contests through Radio Disney (mainly DVDs, a promo T-shirt, things like that), and over on TeenNick, for a 90s Cats vs Dogs contest they were hosting, my cat, Elena, got picked. I had to sign a release form for my photo of her to be used on TV a few months ahead of time. So while I didn't win anything major, I'll take what I can get!
Years ago I had a friend who would apply to every single sweepstakes she could. She was always meeting celebrities and traveling all over the place. I'm not sure if she ever won a Disney channel one but it's possible the person who won was someone who did something similar.
I remember saying “Many will enter, NONE will win” along to the commercials when I was a kid 😂
I didn’t win a Disney sweepstake, but I won a SeaWorld sweepstake in the mid 2000’s! I had to call once a day for a month and only missed it once. My family and I got to sleep in the shark tunnel, do a few activities and see a few shows. I don’t support SeaWorld anymore but it was super fun and exciting when I was 7!
I won a sweepstakes once when I was 16-17 years old and they told me I won a “free cruise” trip or I could choose a free IPad. I chose the IPad and it took almost a year for them to send it out. Not Disney channel related but watching this brought that memory back up, so i thought I would share 😅
Scott it’s so wild that you won every single danimals sweepstakes. As a fellow North Dakotan I’m so proud. Who needs to be miss america or a football player when you can win all of danimals sweepstakes
I actually got second in the Danimals Sweepstakes. I stood on the podium with a silver medal watching Scott weep tears of joy while eating Chippers, the Fargo delicacy, and drinking danimals. Soon after he was whisked away to meet some celebrities and receive a garage full of Subarus. Truly an unforgettable moment
When I was in elementary school one of the kids in a younger grade won a radio Disney sweepstakes and they just had like the most basic Disney music block party on the outside basketball court at the school
Amazing, Scott was already so talented and now, he reveals that HE won the Danimals sweepstakes? unreal.
Me thoroughly loving the nostalgia of this entire video.😍😍
Scott: “this was a filler video”
Then I can’t imagine what these next episodes are going to be 😈
Get Rainbolt (the insanely good geogusser guy) to find the house at 10:30, find out who owned the house during the time of that sweepstake, find their contact info and see if they were the family featured in the highlight reel and if they actually won.
Back in the olden days on the Nintendo Australia website they had "competitions", basically you'd enter and write out an answer to a question such as "how badly do you want this game", I'm pretty sure I won a few of those competitions, I'm guessing not many people knew they existed. The only one I can remember the prize for was a year supply of games, it was just a few games they sent me over the course of a year. I know for a fact one of them was sonic and the secret rings because i have two copies of it and one is still sealed.
Just wanted to say congrats on winning the Danimals sweepstake! So glad the mystery was solved and I hope it was an amazing and memorable trip!
I am so happy that we FINALLY found out who won the danimals sweepstakes
The Danimals Boy!! Omg, it all makes so much sense now. Man, I remember wondering who that kid on the Danimals box with Zach and Cody was?? You guys remember that? It was back in 2008 so it’s been a while. Turns out it was a Mini Scott!! Really wish they let you retake the photo tho. Ngl the googly eye glasses and cowboy hat combo with the “Hannah is Miley” shirt were kind of a serve?? But a really weird choice since they caught you mid-sneeze😅 Anyway, glad the contract ended so you could finally tell us!!
Scott PLEASE make a video with all these people claiming their parents were “professional sweepstake winners” that is so frickin cool. I’d love to hear about the stuff they won and their experiences..and most importantly HOW! I want them to elaborate on exactly what was needed to do in order to win so many. Would be a super interesting video
No way, it was Scott who won the 2008/2009 Danimals sweepstakes and got flown out to LA to meet some of Disneys biggest stars??
This guy, asking the important questions haunting an entire generation.
There was a Descendants one that happened the summer the sequel came out. The grand prize winner would be flown to LA, meet the cast, and get a makeover to look like either a hero’s kid or a villain’s kid. I can’t remember if the winner was allowed to pick who’s kid they wanted to be, or if they had to look generic. (Imagine requesting to look like Frollo or Chernabog’s kid! 😂) I entered that sweepstakes every day that summer, but didn’t win. Never even heard anything about the winner. That would be an interesting DC Sweepstakes mystery to solve!
I was a runner up in an Xbox contest for Gears of War once. As a runner up, I got a themed controller and a copy of the game. I'd forgotten about even entering the contest to begin with until I got that unmarked box with my prizes inside. There wasn't even a note or anything.
So, it's highly likely that there are a bunch of winners who claimed similar prizes, and just forgot the when/why of the whole situation.
I used to wonder about this all of the time! Did people actually win? The same with the McDonald’s Monopoly, so I loved that series on it. I also always wondered if the Space camp that was the grand prize on Nickelodeon game shows was real, like did you actually get to go? That was like my lifelong dream growing up. A lot of people on Reddit said it was real. I wonder how much families that “won” had to pay to actually go, or if they had “special” terms. Maybe you could do a deep dive n space camp in a video? What kid didn’t want to go who watched the Nickelodeon game shows in the 90s?
I remember seeing Scott on Disney Channel in one of their videos revealing the winner. He even went on a private cruise based on Suite Life on Deck.
I'm in Canada and won a family channel (basically Disney Channel equivalent here) sweepstakes, we won a hiptop/sickkick phone but we would have to pick it up at a rogers wireless location which at that time we did not have where I live, so we did not get the prize.
So proud of you Scott for coming out to us about winning the danimals sweepstake! It must have took a lot of courage after all these years
It was such a huge surprise to hear that you were the person who won the danimals sweepstakes!! How awesome!!! That’s so cool dude!!!!
Wow I’m so glad you came forward Scott with the truth to the danimals sweepstakes. What courage ❤
I remember a friend saying they opened a Danimals package and had won the sweepstakes, but really they won a CHANCE to win the sweepstakes and had to go to this huge event where all the other "winners" gathered to take ANOTHER chance at winning. I think I saw one girl who said she won the cruise on tiktok!!
I didn’t really grow up on Disney Channel, but I remember Cartoon Network and Nick having cool sweepstakes. There was one contest where the grand prize winner could get a full scale replica of the treehouse from Codename: Kids Next Door built in heir backyard or something.
So glad to hear who won the Danimal's sweepstakes. The build up for Scott to finally admit it was them, was worth the wait.
It is honestly so wild to me that there isn't more stories about the winners of these contests. So glad we have Scott telling us about how he won the Danimals sweepstake ;)
Thank you Max! I always wondered as a kid who won the contests I saw on TV and what it was like! It’s cool to see someone document it. Thank you Scott for covering this!
