    Back when I was an electrical apprentice I had about $1,200 USD worth of tools stolen and it was the bulk of my tools at the time. All brand name, expensive tools too. Only positive way I looked at it too was that I got new tools and better tools because some of the tools I got were from a kit I bought in tech school. Ended up buying about $2,500 worth of tools. Replaced all my Klein pliers with Knipex and haven’t looked back. I still like Klein screw drivers and nut drivers the best, so I got those. Veto tool bags, name tags, and I even engraved every single piece of my equipment. It was fun coming home to a huge delivery of tools. Whoever stole my tools, I hope they’re using them instead of selling them at a pawn shop. They weren’t even broke in yet or had scars on them.

    The laser level is part of dewalts extreme 12 volt line. Totally different from their 18 volt or 54 volt tools. Also notice on the chargers some will say 18 volt and most of their regular chargers will say 18 and 12 volt so they can charge both well actually all three since the 54 volt battery can run as 18 volt and they charge on 18 volt chargers there isn’t actually a 54 volt charger but the 18 volt fast chargers are made for the big 54 volt batteries

    Is it cheaper to buy everything in this package vs separately? If so, anyone know how much one might save? You can get some good deals on tools, but may have to wait here and there. I'm curious if the $6500 doesn't save you anything, rather provides the convenience of getting everything at once

    • @MrC9Oh3
      @MrC9Oh3 2 года назад +3

      Definitely not worth $6500

    • @NavS2
      @NavS2 2 года назад +1

      Keep in mind $6500 AUD is like $4700 USD.

    • @qwertyddr06

      That makes a lot more sense. Still curious if that is more though

    The big Hammer drill is the DCF 899, and it is for truck wheels. I mean pickup trucks, not semis. But you need a lot of torque to take those wheels off, and that 899 in your box handles that. It delivers 700 Ft/Lb of torque.
    Of course, I am speaking of Ft/Lbs and pickup trucks so...it may not be a necessary tool for you over in Limey Land.
    In any case, that's what that tool is.

    Bit naff they only give you 4 batteries with that much kit. Should have asked the dealer to chuck in a couple seeing as you parted with that much money

    Проблема деволт в том что нет линейки инструмента для работы с бетоном(я понимаю что Америка вся одноэтажная и деревянная,но надо охватывать и новые рынки,оооочень не хватает вибро уплотнителя бетона,виброрейки,машины для разглаживания цементной стяжки,пистолета для связывания арматуры(а у макиты это есть,но это другая аккумуляторная база и бренд))а ещё бесит желто черная цветовая гамма(пока оно все новое оно и выглядит хорошо,но после первого использования куча мелких царапин в которых грязь и цементная пыль прессуются)

    I don’t know how those lowlifes sleep at night knowing they stole a man’s livelihood. What’s more sickening is the people who buy the stolen tools are tradesmen! Lower than lowlifes. Great new kit mate.
