I've owned 2 M2 (1type 1 and a type3) an original M6 but always lusted after an M4. Finally picked one up on Ebay a couple of years ago. I had the shutter rebuilt etc with Sherry Krauter in NY.
It's my favorite M Leica and it brings me happiness when I shoot with it.

Yes, love this camera! People are amazed how heavy it is but compact. I believe it’s the last Leica that has mostly brass mechanics too. Enjoy it too!
