June 21 will be remembered as a memorable day. After 22 years on Monza's track, two DTM legends, the 1994 Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti driven by Nicola Larini and the 1995 Mercedes-Benz C Class AMG V6 driven by Bernd Schneider took the track together. Both DTM golden era cars made three laps pay tribute to the most important automotive brands who wrote unforgettable motorsport pages. Specifically, this video shows the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti, a real jewel of technology features a six-cylinder engine able to procude 420 hp, four-wheel drive, semi-automatic sequential gearbox all for just 1.060 kg. In 1993, Larini with an Alfa Romeo 155 V6 won the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters beating the Mercedes-Benz German Team on 190 2.5 16v,. Il 21 Giugno si è svolta una giornata memorabile. Dopo 22 anni sulla pista di Monza di sono riunite due leggende del DTM, l'Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti del 1994 guidata da Nicola Larini e la Mercedes-Benz Classe C AMG V6 del 1995 pilotata da Bernd Schneider. Entrambi i campioni dell'epoca d'oro del DTM hanno percorso 3 giri in parata portanto tributo a due grandi marchi automobilistici che hanno scritto pagine indimenticabili del motorsport. Nello specifico questo video mostra l'Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti, un vero gioiello della tecnica dotata di un sei cilindri accreditato di 420cv, trazione integrale, cambio semiautomatico sequenziale il tutto per solo 1.060 kg di peso. Nel 1993 Larini proprio a bordo di una 155 V6 ti si aggiudicò il Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters battendo lo squadrone tedesco su Mercedes-Benz 190 2.5 16v, Ringrazio enormemente l'amico e RUclipsr 19Bozzy92 ( / 19bozzy92 ) con cui ho collaborato per le riprese di questo video. Eh si. Davvero. Oramai con la prima 155 al debutto nel DTM siamo a 24 anni fa...che bei ricordi si...Non chiedo a Marchionne di ventilare un'Alfa in F1. Credo non avrebbe un gran senso con la Ferrari nel gruppo. Ma un'Alfa nel DTM...oh signori, ce l'avrebbe eccome un senso!

Tutti settori presidiati da Ferrari...ma poi, stesso gruppo..farebbero mai vincere un'Alfa al posto di una Ferrari? meglio cercare altre competizioni, DTM, Le Mans...Alfa potrebbe fare grandi cose. Il richiamo Alfa-F1 non credo spinga a vendere le auto, ma se una Giulia, anche in versione DTM inizia a correre ed a vincere, forse un richiamo su quel modello in fatto di vendite lo genera...

93 tmc ma ho scoperto in ritardo quel campionato purtroppo ma ho recuperato dopo acquistando una vhs con il resoconto finale.
94 e 95 tele+ da cui sono riuscito a registrare diverse gare.
96 purtroppo i diritti li acquistò la RAI che mannaggia trasmetteva a tarda ora un resoconto stringato delle 2 gare.
E cmq 94/95/96 al Mugello io c'ero......con foto e video bumbazza!!!
Anni dopo ad Adria sono riuscito a farmi autografare la brochure da rosberg e schneider e se beccato Rolando asch lo tamponato anche io con la mia 75 come ha fatto nannini!!!
Quanti ricordi, anche io da ragazzo guardavo le gare su TMC. Crescendo e frequentando gli autodromi ho avuto il piacere di incontrare alcuni di questi piloti come Nannini e Schneider. Ed anche quelli del campionato superturismo che all'epoca era il fratello minore ma altrettanto bello. Mi vengono in mente Pirro, Dindo Capello, Giovanardi, Tarquini...che belle stagioni abbiamo vissuto in quegli anni 👍

Eh si, anche a me ha fatto un certo effetto vederlo, ma poi è sempre lui, la sua parlata, il modo di fare. Si, la 155 DTM fa riflettere. Pur disponendo di molte meno finanze dello squadrone Mercedes, l'Alfa realizzò questo splendido capolavoro.

Eh, come non essere daccordo. Oltretutto con l'uscita di Mercedes ed Aston Martin, se il concetto di DTM stesso non modificherà, rischieremo di avere un bimarca BMW-Audi...sai che meraviglia...🙈 Negli anni 90 e 2000 abbiamo raggiunto l'apice di questo sport, tanti costruttori con differenti auto, era proprio bello da vedere, seguitissimo dagli appasionati. Ahimè, se non si corregge il tiro alla svelta rischierà di seguire le orme della Formula noia (F1).

Is this the version of 155 V6 that using the Busso or the PRV?
This should be the engine derived from the 2.5-Litre V6 "Busso" because it was used in the 1994-1995 and early 1996 seasons. Subsequently, to obtain even more power, the V6 PRV originally mounted on the Lancia Thema V6 was adopted.

You're right, remember well, I think it's because they probably limited the number of rpm. However that day they drove but not to make lap time and therefore didn't push the car to the maximum.

So...after researching for a while it seems to me that in the first season Alfa raced on DTM they used an engine all theirs, but then had to change to the PRV one in the following years. Is that right or did I get it wrong?

It was a PRV engine block only, with 90 degrees and was used only in 1996, because AR was underpowered and lost the developement race in 1994 and 1995, when Opel started to work with WIlliams and Mercedes was sanctioned-cheating like they do in Formula 1 since 2014.

Grazie della risposta. So che aveva già la livrea Martini ma mi domando se nel 1995 un'auto come quella del video guidata da Nannini possa aver corso qualche gara così. Comunque ho corretto ed inserito 1994 che è effettivamente l'anno con cui ha corso in questa colorazione.

ho seguito tutta la.stagione 95 guardando le gare su tele+ andando anche al Mugello x vederli e confermo che hanno fatto entrambi tutta la stagione con i colori martini.
nel 94 c'era ancora la possibilità di usare un'auto di un"altro pilota nel caso la propria sia rotta come successe con Nannini quando venne tamponato da Asch.
Grazie davvero della spiegazione e del fatto che hai fugato ogni dubbio. Di quegli anni ho bellissimi ricordi di quando in TV su tmc guardavo le gare del Superturismo che commentava Di Pillo. Ho recentemente incontato Pirro in un paio di occasioni e gli ho accennato di questo, e brevemente mi ha ricordato come quel periodo sia stato per lui, Giovanardi, Tarquini, ecc un'epoca bellissima del motorsport. Le gare del DTM credo però non passassero per TV, non ricordo di averle mai viste, vado a memoria ma tele+ era la prima emittente a pagamento, corretto?

Nuevamente estoy de acuerdo, creo que los motores de F1 deberían ser al menos V8 y subir a V10 y V12. Nunca pondría un V6 turboalimentado en un auto de F1. Pero si realmente tiene que ir allí, al menos instale un motor de aspiración natural como este de Alfa Romeo.

They are different engines, with different sounds and not comparable. You may prefer one sound to another. This V6 sounds wonderful, like a real racing engine.

Before Alfa came to DTM I was a fan of Klaus Ludwig, and a little of Bernd Schneider (although his style was a bit too brutal for my taste sometimes), but that all changed when I first saw the Reds show up and knew who would drive them. Larini could have had a second title but couldn't keep his cool 2nd time around. In any case the 155 is the best looker ever in DTM and a killer car in his time. Incredible sound!

@@andredeketeleastutecomplex I agree with what you wrote; I was also a fan of the DTM; it was a golden age for those races, the cars were fantastic, and the drivers were strong. The Alfa project was very valid; despite having much less money than the German manufacturers, they managed to create a winning car. The pilots were solid, but like all Italians with the Latin character, all very fiery, passion often prevailed over reason. But we liked it for this; Nannini & Larini were great pilots.
Alfa romeo has to come back to the dtm with the giulia

@@MrPionier Absolutely agrees with you. Even if the Alfa Romeo was the first team in Formula One to win a world championship, most people remember the epic races of the 155 in the DTM. None of us can afford an F1 single-seater while a Giulia is a family car and see it run in the weekend (only the bodywork because we know that in reality all DTM are prototypes) I think it would have a huge consideration and appreciation from the public. Especially if you start winning races...
@@Italiansupercarvideo and i am giulia driver and yes its a family car normaly but its also in the qv edition a monster if you make it lighter its able to race against audi bmw lexus and so on...or the 156 s2000 was a winner car all the time....
@@MrPionier Once again I agree with you. I think that currently, in its segment, the Giulia has the best balance between chassis/steering/brakes and suspensions. It's also rear-wheel drive. Wonder 👍

@@radek7365 it's normal, I often see it on the track, surely the car needs to stay at high engine rpm and the clutch must, therefore, disconnect, but with that compression ratio of the engine is a completely natural fact. A pilot who knows the car perfectly and always runs usually has no problems but if I remember correctly, the start you see was made by a team mechanic who certainly has less experience as a driver.

Se guardiamo come si sono ridotti l'attuale circus della F1 e lo stesso campionato DTM, farei cambio da subito per riavere anche solamente le gloriose DTM anni 90 in un vero campionato Europeo. Almeno il divertimento non macherebbe. Da non far organizzare alla FIA però...

Beh, penso che il pilota al volante, Nicola Larini, Campione DTM nel 1993 proprio su Alfa-Romeo 155 V6 Ti la sappia guidare, non credi? 😉 Qui era stato chiamato per una giornata celebrativa che rivedeva nuovamente girare delle storiche DTM con campioni del passato, sul circuito di Monza (era presente anche la Mercedes-Benz Classe C AMG V6 del 1995 pilotata da Bernd Schneider). Non era di certo qui per fare il tempo o spingere la vettura al massimo.
