No bins as you take your own rubbish away. Bins get overfilled and costs to empty. Birds scavenge them. Nice and tidy because everyone removes their own rubbish. Something the British could learn from.
If only. Some people will just leave their rubbish on the ground, even if there is a bin nearby let alone take it home 😖
@@LifeistooshortCKwe'll second that.. Just yards from an empty bin too 🙄🐕🚙
Some parks and places here in the states tried this but people leave their trash anyway. Pack-it-in, pack-it-out is lost on the younger generation.
@@r8edrv4fun65 clearly not lost in the younger Scandinavian and European generation because those parks and countryside stops are spotless! More cultural than generational
@@kinross24 we agree. We have not encountered as much littering as we have in the UK, on our travels in France, Norway and Denmark.
Carol, you are THE WrapMaster! 😃Brilliant series again.❤
😂 Thanks for watching 🙂👍
I love it when tucked up in the van, warm and cozy, and listening to the wind and rain outside. Steve hated the wind farms but I find them very therapeutic to watch. Those meals looked delicious and I am off to make myself a chicken korma now, yummy! Thank you so much for sharing your trip to Denmark with us all. Looking forward to the Germany part next. 🥰
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope the chicken korma was yummy 😋 ❤️
What a great way to start my Saturday, a cup of coffee with the fabulous Carol and Ken! Thank you for an interesting tour of Denmark and showing your set up in the little red camper. The snail didn’t look as bad as I had imagined! X
Thanks for joining us. The snail was OK 😅
Manipulating a wrap with a hot interior is no easy task good job😊 such a beautiful place 😊 thank you for taking us with you. Safe travels from Bakersfield California USA. Can't wait for Germany😊

Thanks for sharing your trip to Denmark. I didn’t realize it was so flat. Great beaches and wonderful towns, full of history. Looking forward to your next adventure. Cheers
Thanks for joining us 🙂
Shopping seemed quite expensive. Lovely Parkup. Very cosy. Great morning shots. Carol is very good at wraps they always hold together well. Pleased you didn’t film the toilet. Grim. I have that Lego Bonsai tree. Shame about the rain. Town was beautiful. Great beach spot. Curry looked good. Not sure about that bun though ! Fantastic trip to Denmark. 👍
Thanks, yes Denmark was quite expensive, like Norway but we had a great time. Have you built the Bonsai tree? 😀
Thanks for another wonderful series.
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching 🙂

Lots of water everywhere! That roll up sandwich looked amazing! Lovely video! Hope you enjoyed Denmark
Thanks for watching. We had a wonderful time in Denmark 🙂👍
Thank you for this beautiful tour of rural Denmark. In this last episode, I was intrigued by driving on Romo Beach on the barrier island, it reminded me of the Daytona Beach -New Smyrna Beach area on the Atlantic side of the Florida peninsula.
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching 🙂
Thanks for your super videos of your wonderful trip through Denmark, it looks like a wonderful country. Until the next time 😊 xx
Thanks Janet. We very much enjoyed travelling through Denmark 🙂👍

Great vlog again. I do have to say what an expert wrap roller you are Carol! Even presented with a fisherman's catch of fish fingers! I've rewound it several times to learn how to roll correctly. Thanks Carol. 👍😁🐕🚙

Thank you to you both most enjoyable watch.❤ I am always amazed at what great meals you make in your van. I am still practicing in ours 😊
It can be challenging sometimes in such a small space. We try and find sachets of ready made sauces which work a treat 😊
Loved traveling with you. Looking forward to our next adventure!

What a joy to be back watching you again and your your trips which are always fascinating. I have been in hospital again for 2 weeks, I was very sick going in. I got 6 transfusions of blood while in there, even though I had had 2 just about a week before I went in. Anyway it is great to be home and able to watch my fav channel. I have a bit of catching up to do. @Life is too short.
Really sorry to hear you have been unwell Rupert. Thank the Lord for those who donate blood. We hope you are feeling better soon ❤️

Having had to courie doon in The Grey during some intensely wet weather this past few days, I so appreciate having ones' home on wheels and that snuggly safety! You two have it all down to quite a fine art and it's a joy to ride along with you. YAM xx
Thanks for watching. Stay safe and dry in the wet weather. Take care ❤️
Great series and makes us want to visit the country so thanks for sharing
Something therapeutic about watching carol roll wraps as something I haven’t mastered 😂
Thanks guys
Glad you enjoyed it. Carol has obviously had a lot of practice rolling those wraps 😆
That was such a lovely trip to Denmark. I do hope you can go again someday soon. On to the next adventure! Mary
Thanks Mary, glad you enjoyed it 🙂
The drone footage was your best!

Interesting video. Some lovely scenes. Guess you are now looking forward to getting your new van. Enjoy.
Still a couple more trips to come from the little red camper 😊
Great vid Carol & Ken 😁
Thanks Karen 🙂
Thanks
Thanks for the SuperThanks ❤️
Really enjoyed the Denmark series. What a beautiful country. I’ve only been to Copenhagen.
We will have to go back to see Copenhagen one day 🙂
On RUclips, I've seen umbrella shades for the windscreen, just pop them open like an umbrella and they spread wide over the whole thing. Probably on Amazon.
Fish sticks in a wrap. Something I never would've thought of doing. :) But I might now.
Cheers.
Jon in rural BC, Canada
Never seen those windscreen shades before. Looks like they fix inside the vehicle so the glass will still get hot.
We can recommend the fishfinger wraps 🙂👍
Hi Carol and Ken. Safe trip home. We saw some wonderful scenery on this trip as well as great drone shots. Nice chamber music as you set up.
Thanks Larry. Hope you are well ❤️

Your dinner made me so hungry, but it's 22:15 ahhh. Must go shopping, ASAP. 😂😂
Sorry about that 😊
Thanks guys, well filmed, but such a shame that there was little sunshine on proceedings, which makes the landscape seem less inviting, especially for wild camping.
Thanks for watching. Yes a bit more sunshine would have been very welcome ☺️
You found at nice spot, south of Esbjerg. We stayed there on 19. oktober 22 🙂
Just a few days after we were there 😊👍

As always a nice video from you guys.😊
But we didn't see a what.3.words on the beautiful little ruin??😢

Would holes in the bucket help with air circulation to dry the cloths? Great drone shots, stunning. Safe journey back guys. X
Yes, I have drilled some holes to help the air flow through 🙂👍
Hello you two 👋 I've really enjoyed your journey through Denmark, some interesting places. Were think more expensive than Norway? I've started thinking of my big adventure for next spring, if I visit my friends in Poland again I'm thinking 🤔 catch a ferry from Poland to Sweden, up into Norway, back through Denmark, sound good? Ferry from Poland to Sweden is good price.
Have you been to Poland? its a lovely country, and a real pleasure to drive there.
Take care, looking forward to your next adventure 👍
Thanks for watching. Similar prices to Norway. Sounds like a good trip. We would like to go to Copenhagen and into Sweden one day. Would also like to visit Poland 🙂👍
Gosh the landscape reminds me of Fenland a lot!
What was your favourite town in Denmark?
From the places we visited, Ribe was our favourite 🙂
Hi Ken my Wife and I have been watching your videos for about a year now and find them very informative and interesting but I do have a question. We are wondering why you call Carol Charlie Brown something. Love the videos thanks for sharing them.
Hi David. Thanks for watching. Charlie Brown is just one of Carol’s many nicknames. It comes from the Peanuts cartoons. Best wishes to you and your wife 🙂
@@LifeistooshortCK Thank you for your very quick reply Ken. We are just watching your last night in Denmark. We are looking forward to your next adventure.
Hi Guys, and thanks for another journey. Kia Ora from New Zealand. 💜💜 PS: What model is your DJI Drone, thanks?
Thanks Xavier. It’s a DJI Mavic Mini 2.

Is there an update on your new van?
Video tonight 👍
@@LifeistooshortCK exciting!
The agricultural buildings over which you queried their function were almost certainly Pig Farms where the poor creatures never see the light of day and and live a miserable short life. You may have noticed that in spite of being a massive "pork/bacon exporter" you'll never see a pig outdoors in Denmark.
oh how horrible, but I guess that's why bacon and pork is cheap
@@carolinegreenwell9086 Indeed. People who want cheaper "meat" just don't care about where their food comes from. I'm a Vegan but I only mentioned this because it was queried in the video and I'm not here to preach.
Thanks for letting us know. We did wonder where all the pigs were. Such a shame 🥲
@@LifeistooshortCK You're very welcome. Information gives us the ability to make better choices.
Anyway your Travelogue is one of the best on youtube. Great filming and superb music that fits so well with the images. Long may you continue.

TRØJBORG CASTLE RUINS
BY VIVIAN ETTING, MUSEUM INSPECTOR AND SENIOR RESEARCHER AT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM.
Trøjborg was an impressive manor house during the renaissance era. Now in ruins, Trøjborg is about 15 kilometres north of Tønder. The manor was built in the 1580s by nobleman Peter Rantzau. The architect was probably Hercules von Oberberg. The castle was designed with four wings around a small square courtyard. The upper floors were linked by stair turrets in each of the four corners, topped off with an onion-shaped spire. There were two main floors above a high cellar. A drawbridge led across the moat into the castle's large entrance gateway, which has now been partially reconstructed based on the original superstructure. Trøjborg was demolished in 1854, as the state did not wish to take over the castle.
Public place.
Thanks for sharing what it is. 👍
