    Last time in Lillehammer was in 1998. Bought a touristy t-shirt with the rock drawings that we had seen before we came into town. Wore it forever. We were on our way from Trysil to Hallingdal, Flå, to be exact. Family members of mine have summerhouses there. By the way, eastern Norway is usually less rainy than the west.

Its usually more expensive to buy karbonadedeig over regular mince. Regular mince will have upto 14% fat contents whereas karbonadedeig should be around 4-5%.

      Trøndelag, where I live is a bit boring from a scenery perspective, but we have a *ton* of history being one of the main agricultural areas in a country where agricultural land is in scarce supply means that our region where quite populated in early times and played a important role for any potential king.

    5:08 its milk :D

  • @Luredreier
    @Luredreier Год назад

    5:06
    That's milk.
    The symbol belongs to the company Tine and is made to look like a object named a "tine"
    They're wooden containers used for among other things storing butter butter, peas, grain, porridge etc, the name is only used in the southeast, in the rest of the country they're named a "laup" and where even a old measuring unit for volume as well as a wooden container.
    Basically they could store anything not liquid.
    Tine the company is a Norwegian dairy product cooperative owned by the farmers themselves and *required* to collect milk from them no matter how far out into the middle of nowhere they're located.
    They're our biggest dairy product producer.
    Although they *do* have competition, and their competitors don't have to spend money collecting milk from locations so far away that they're unprofitable to visit, or to pay more then they earn to said farmers for that milk (fixed price)
    So they're at a competitive disadvantage there.
    The other companies have their own areas where they compete when it comes to among other things ethics.

    What's a "boy racer"?
    14:46
    Ah, the Norwegian word for that is "råner" i think.
    They're mostly common in Telemark in southern Norway from what I've heard.
    They *exist* elsewhere too, but that's the only place where they're common.
    They don't *race* much, but driving around and making skid marks is definitely common down there, or was when I lived there...

    • @LifeistooshortCK
      @LifeistooshortCK  Год назад

      Yes we encountered a lot of those skid marks earlier in our trip. English boy racers turn up in their cars, play loud music and do donuts in car parks - hand break turns in circles!

    The tanker you were driving behind was transporting milk, most likely. Tine, the name on the back, is the biggest milk and cheese company in the country.
    And the Egon chain, funnily enough, is based upon a character from a crime comedy movie franchise from the 70's-90's, named The Olsen Gang (It was originally a Danish show, but adapted and remade in Norway. . . as many classics in Norway, it's origine came from other countries).
    Anyway, the character's name was Egon Olsen and he always had a bowler hat and a cigar. Hence the logo and name.

    As you were saying that the stairs looked steep but they really weren’t, I was thinking ‘I don’t know, because you are breathing much harder’. My bet is that the riser for each step was a comfortable step so you weren’t ‘climbing’ up. You made it up, though! Well done. Great video! It was a nice break in a busy day. Thanks!

    Made me laugh about that suicide wasp ….
    Good effort with the steps Carol you just needed a couple of planks strapped to your back and you could of re enacted a winning jump 😂
