Its pretty standard for RWBY at this point, a show that also portrays a civil rights group as villains

“Overpriced” kind of goes hand-in-hand with the other two.
The game isn’t all bad. The game had new characters, mainly team Brir, as well as an description of an more positive side, and new fancy rwby Ost.
It's astounding how RT manages to flop every attempt at making a RWBY game when RWBY was known for it's fight choreography and unique weapon arrays.

In my school vr game in the mission called arrowfall the boss is actually rouge Huntress Yang and ok she's a tutorial boss on using the grims edge ( in the mission you play as ryuko maktoi trying to find 1 of goalius cases in the battlefields he's been in last ryuko maktoi found 1 in mission creek high school on accident after finding it in his locker that's next to her own and in it is a pot ( portable Omni transportation) unit that he been making for the pass 5 years after goalius death at the hands of the devil Hunter chainsaw man who was ex hunter denji ryuko maktoi old boyfriend and now greatest threat ) the grims edge is a actually a bracelet turns into high energy condensed guantlets thanks pack a punch that rivals Yang 2 striked a mech in the show anyway in the end of it Yang falls back and escaped the mission ended with the case giving a clue ( the clue for the next case is when all things seemed grim go to where your heart can lead you)

The worst part of the story is how they negatively portrayed unions in this game. Which is not surprising considering RT scandal of being a greedy and horrible corpo
(I'm just speculating based off this clip, sorry if I sound short-sighted in some parts of my rant.)
Sure this game may look slightly good aesthetically but the dialogue is trash, the villains make NO sense, their motives are as if an elementary schooler wrote them, and team RWBY once again makes dumb monologues that could've been used more smartly.
Say if they meant to make Bram a petty villain or even not, RWBY could've gave him a lesson that life isn't always going to be in his favor. Not to mention Fifestone's explanation was terrible and vague, not giving you a valid reason. 'You don't understand the machinary' 'You're blind' then give an ACTUAL reason why you decided to become bad. If you were good, what made you change? Roosterteeth needs to focus on getting better WRITERS. For all I care it could look like a toddler made it, just get a good plotline with characters that aren't just for show. Hell, I want Team BRIR bro, their powers are fire and their taunting at RWBY was delicious.
(edit) I want to say if you actually like the game then go for it man, I'm only speaking my mind so if you genuinely love it then I just want to let yall know that I'm not trashing on what you like. Hell, I even like RWBY I'm just passionate on how a proper show should be written. I'm the type to LOVE it then later analyze it, but I'll still love it.

@@eren34558 because I know how the rwby company is, they don't care about good stories, they just want money for the next project (30 euros for such a small game is too much) not to mention the rest that only a person who follows the studio knows ( just go check it out, the company is rooster teeth just so you know)
They really should've focused on the new volume instead of this failure

@@jimmyjeff1777 It's not that the game LOOKS bad. it's that a sidescroller SUPER doesn't fit RWBY. It should have it's own DMC or Dynasty Warriors type game. Heck even a fighting game would work better.
RWBY is supposed to have this hyper over the top anime combat, yet none of their games have the same energy.

I mean, I know the bar for this series isn't exactly very high right now, but come on. This looks and plays like baby's first Metroidvania with RWBY's name conveniently slapped onto it for marketing purposes.
Not worth 30 and play Earth Defense Force 5 instead.
