Well hit level 40 recently, Ima just take my time, id rather enjoy what I can before suffering a burnout, thanks for the guide though, it'll be useful to know beforehand.
I think the big thing is to just focus on your main teams, just get them to your current max and don't worry too much about prefarming. When you're waiting for the grind you end up saving days worth of stamina as opposed to prefarming because the drop rates are higher. Maybe just preformed for your main DPS so that they can advance in level ASAP, but I'm still 10 levels from that so it doesn't matter right now😂
however you choose to play the game is totally fine, and as you mentioned; this is just a guide! feel free to take what you wish from it (congrats on 40 btw!!)

@@plvto1they got there by Jade-boosting: They’ve been using the gacha currency to buy fuels, and using that to lvl faster. I’ve been playing since launch, and I’m not even to I-K 43 yet, and at most, I’m like 2k Exp off from try hard f2ps, since they got Training day 1, I get it day 2. By the time we get to I-K 50, will be like a month or two, since that’s around 70k exp (presumably I-K 49 is going to be around 15-20k exp) and the amount of fuel you get each day is 240, and each lvl past I-K gives 2-3 condensed fuels. Every 10 fuel gives 100 exp, so it would take about 29 days of fuel from where I’m at to get to to endgame :/ (But this is not including condensed fuels, or any sort of commissions, which as most, will lessen that to 25 days.) I still just focus on leveling up and upgrading skills before just hard focusing disc farming. Even more so with zzz because you simply can’t get everything you need at once
yeah from what i've heard that one specific modifier of "all enemies are enhanced in all aspects" or whatever it's called seems to easily be the worst one difficulty wise
In Genshin, the strength increase of resin use has always been Character Levels / Talents / Weapon levels before artifacts. Looking at the damage numbers in this game it seems to be consistent as well.

I'm IK45 and still just running the discs I've either been given as rewards or created at the music store. I don't have a single character that has a full set of purple level discs, let alone gold ones. I have done exactly ONE routine cleanup, because I needed it for the rewards in the compendium. And with this mashup of unoptimized discs, I am still not struggling in the slightest. I just did three Hollow Zero runs on Core difficulty with only Ellen & Sharkboo, and always take as many corruptions as I can. Once I have all the agents I use, their w-engines, and skills leveled to the current cap, _then_ I will finally start farming discs.
A game mode where you could straight up grind for ether batteries would be nice, but doubt it would ever happen. Make it adequately time consuming so you can at least get mileage out of the combat system and the characters you've built, but not too fast so as to undermine their business model of using polychromes to refresh. My first gatcha and honestly I am really disliking being held back by energy (and no way am I spending polychromes on it lol). p.s. great content man
To be fair, 160 polychromes can only buy 1 pull. Compare it to the amount of energy you can get with the said amount. Something to think about, I guess.
yeah my first gacha as well, a little bit grindy at IK level 40 onwards but I'm still enjoying it quite a bit, and there are new events now and then so it's still fun. Just grinding for materials everyday now, 240+60(from coffee) three simulations😂
The level scaling was a HORRIBLE IDEA in a game like ZZZ ! It already separate every fighting encounter in missions ! And those same missions are divided in Chapters ! There never was a need to bump up the former missions ! If anything, revisiting early mission should be a power fantasy outlet where you can compare the might of your maxed out Agents, instead of watching them struggle even more than the first time, when you used a team 30 levels weaker. The balance should come from missions with actual high levels, where you feel the need to grind in order to tackle them later.
Yeah seriously what's up with that? I purposely not doing some side commission because my level to low for them and focus on the main story first, and when I done and come back to do side stuff my level still to low to them, I'm like what happened here??? and I just realized the commission level scalling up with your inter knot level and I just lose the motivation to keep playing the game after that
I think the Notorious Hunt feels bad now, but as the game continues, much like boss drops Star Rail, we'll just eventually have a stock pile and it won't be an issue anymore. Right now is when we'll have the most characters to build.
That's strange. The potential drops for materials decreased at 50. That doesn't feel good... Pretty sure all their other games only ever increased, at the very least in potential if not guaranteed drops. For agent materials (converting to purple materials to blues for easier comparison): At 40 : 3 guaranteed + potentially 4 more. (3-7) At 50 : 4 guaranteed + potentially 1 more. (4-5) Obviously have to take into account the rates at which the extra blues/purples can drop to get averages. But the rates for getting extra would have to be really bad (which they probably are) at 40 to skew the average enough for the level 50 drops to feel like a meaningful increase. Edit: I just ran a single challenge for my coffee to test this out, and hit double 2 times the max roll for a total 2 purple 8 blue. if i were to have done that at the level 50 the max i would have gotten is 2 purple 4 blue... so i got 40% more resources on chance. Really not a fan that there's this weird gamble where the highest challenge stuff can give so much less resource. they either should have made it 1-2 purple, or left it at 0-1 and made blue 4-5, so it would be (4-8).
Still think Routine cleanup being 60 energy is ridiculous. It should be 40 at most. That's being said, I still do 1 to 2 disk drive runs daily and use the rest of my energy (180) on mats. I thinks it's allowed me to get my characters to a good place while still focusing on how I build them. I already managed to farm a full set of disk drives for Zhu Yuan and Ellen so now I can slowly build my supports. Also, keep in mind that a bunch of purple drives isn't always a waste since you can break them down giving you dennies and a chance to make a gold disc drive every 10 pulls. And if those suck just break those down.
@@reedsad4652 currently at inter-not lvl 43 so I won't know how that feel for some time but I've been super lucky with some rolls. But getting guaranteed 2-3 drives per run is pretty good to me
Okay so with regards to the hunt. That's honestly really reasonable considering in genshin you don't even have a guarantee of getting the material in the weekly bosses and would need to rely on rng for the drops required to convert. On top of that the amount varied between two and three. vs this is consistent. I know for a fact it took closer to 4 weeks to triple crown arlechinno because of this. So to me 3 weeks is fine.
And like what happen in hsr, the mat in late game just gonna stacked too much until at some point i dont farm it for 2-3 month before the relic that we got from it change.. it just a phase when we want rush all the thing at the beginning
Actually you need 18 mats to triple crown in genshin, so at best you need 6 week (yeah... I triple crown her to). The problem here is, that in genshin you can only do the boss one time per week, but the drop is 2.39(I think, i should check, this is an old number), for each boss. Here you can do 3 run for 3 material, but only for one boss. So you can't improve multiple character at the same time, even if they use different materials.
silly me, i think i need to correct myself.. after i see it again in-game it need atleast 4 week to farm the weekly mat for maxing the passive,, and in my 1years playing HSR i can get more than 12 limited banner char then you will be punished if you use weekly mat in 4star or standart 5star char in this way.. it really is an issue, atleast make it 2 week or 3 week max, or make it free 3 runs and can run with energy afterward.. this issue will get bigger and bigger in the long run
Double RNG at that, because you have to get lucky enough to get the Dream Solvent to even be able to convert the wrong drop. That is the main reason I stopped playing Genshin. I have dozens of all the wrong boss mats and no way to convert them, because the game never gives me any Dream Solvent.
I think the Notorious Hunt is good. While it may seem like it will take a long time to upgrade since you only get 3 per week, in the long run, it's a good thing. The fact that it doesn't cost energy means you can always farm it. I stopped doing weekly bosses in HSR because I don't need them and are a waste of energy for my account. Where as in ZZZ, I will always farm them.
I don't even think I'm going to make it to the resetting ones for another week 😅 I made it to level 40 this morning and I didn't have any energy left 😂😭
**Comparing expected drops improvement from lvl 45 to 50** > Routine cleanup: a chance of 50% more drops, so I'm putting it around a 16-25% upgrade, depending on if it's 1/2 or 1/3 to get a third drive > Basic materials: 12.5% worst case upgrade and a 9.1% best case upgrade > Certification seals / Engine modification materials: 33% worst case upgrade and a *28.5% BEST CASE DOWNGRADE Assuming the drop rate of pink seals is 1/2, it's a 10% expected downgrade, and assuming the drop rate of pink seals is 1/3, it's a 0% expected change. Definitely a weird decision. I wish they showed the true drop rate for pink seals, because that affects expected value a lot. > Skill materials: 66% worse case upgrade and a 14% *BEST CASE DOWNGRADE* Assuming 1/2: 10% upgrade, Assuming 1/3: 22% upgrade > Expert challenge: flat 25% increase > Notorious Hunt: Negligible Definitely a strange change. I think I'll be prefarming cert seals then? Important note: battery efficiency matters more for items you need to farm more of. Ex: Upgrading a skill from 9->10 takes 10 advanced. At level 50, you can guarantee it in 120 battery or highroll it in 100. At level 45, you can guarantee it in 200 or highroll it in also 100. That is to say, for each character, you will need to spend hundreds upon hundreds of battery to level up skills, so an increase in efficiency there is saving you much more. Compared to that, you only need to farm to raise a character's level cap to 60 one time: you'll spend much less battery there, so the efficiency is less important. Same reasoning can go for Expert Challenge. At 50, it costs 360 flat battery to get the E&F skill nodes. At 45, it costs 480 flat battery to do the same (but it will cost 440 flat battery to get the E&F nodes for 3 more characters that use the same material, because you have 3 leftovers). That's only a 120 battery loss per character upgraded. Compare that to skill levels where you stand to lose upwards of 400 battery per character by farming on a less efficient knot level, depending on how many skills that character needs leveled and how high you want to go (Invested Nekomata benefits from basically all her skills being leveled compared to an invested support lucy, who gets most of her value from just having Skill and Chain Attack levels).
@@undeniablySomeGuy Promotions being the certification/engine modification materials in your first comment I assume and basic materials being silver/etc. And indeed a pretty weird choice, nerfing stuff higher level? Can u do a guide on the recommended way to do build character . The resources are so limited . As well with the energy. For a new gacha game .. there is tons of things to do . Should I build my all my dps first . Or should I go for a team . I just got zhuyuan. I am still building my support for electric and ice team (Anton, rina, grace & Ellen, anby, soukaku). I am having so much problem ignoring the support and getting s rank in stable mode level 10 of the defense. I have just finish grace and thinking of building soukaku up. But now I got zhuyuan . Should I put aside everything and start zhuyuan? Or continue until the team is completely done (disc drive & level)
Oh i just hit 49 but in between the 40 levels i was just about to farm discs but i always told myself i'd rather get instant materials for my characters first than fight with drive disc RNG and be frusrated. Thanks for the heads up and hope everyone's progress will be very smooth up to Legendary Proxy rank!
I feel like I'm doing well to be at 43. I only just got there tonight before I got off, so it'll be a while, yet before I get to 50. I would like to get there soon, though. Just for the increase in drops, so farming materials is a bit more efficient. Leveling from 40-50 was painful lol.
The only thing that really strikes me is the weekly bosses. I would think it would be similar to Star Rail where you get an increase gradually, maybe at max you have 2 with a chance of 3. But now I know and can just do it and not worry about saving it for later in the week (was assuming the next tier had better drops).
it's no different with genshin or star rail the trick is, less pulling new character and it's weapon lol, because the more you pull for new chara the less resource and stamina that actually you can save for character you want or needed myself already play 4 years in genshin and 1 year in star rail have a tons of abundance resource later if you keep active playing this game, so it's better take your time and enjoy the content at your pace for F2P
Pretty sure prefarming is extremely inefficient so people should take the advice with a grain of salt.. the way the trace vs relics work is like, at 35 its a boost to relics, at 40 the trace materials go up but relics the same, then relics again at 45 etc. If thats the case then to be efficient it makes more sense to farm the stuff thats currently the "higher value" one. Basically, 35-39 farm relics, 40-44 farm mats, 45-49 farm relics, 50+ both are max value so farm any
thx for the video, but you know what, i'll just spend my batteries for discs now that im level 40, i love this game so much i refuse to hold back on doing what i want for the sake of efficiency
I'm at level 40, can someone help me with how can I farm? I already did all of the things I can with my level and don't wanna wait for the batteries all the time
Heck I was holding back my xp because I want to step lvl 40 with zhuyuan, currently at lvl 38 close to 39. Prefarmed her DD and lvl mats., Now I am waiting and will welcome lvl 40 with her lmao

Getting to I-K 50 is going to take another week for any F2P who’s been playing since launch, or longer, so take your time, and build up a strong base. > Expert challenge: flat 25% increase
> Notorious Hunt: Negligible
Definitely a strange change.
Given this information, I'm getting a usable Disk Drive set on all my units, then going to prefarm promotions and basic materials.
@@undeniablySomeGuy Promotions being the certification/engine modification materials in your first comment I assume and basic materials being silver/etc.
And indeed a pretty weird choice, nerfing stuff higher level? I guess the drop rate might be better for rare mats, if not, doesn't make sense. O-O
Insane to hit lvl 50 already.
If u dont have a live, its possible lol.
The only dislike i have for withering garden is the lack of healing between floors ngl
N Hunts are just enough to max each new character but forgot about doing A ranks or standard characters.
Thank you for the optimal route.
What does refresh mean?
it's no different with genshin or star rail
the trick is, less pulling new character and it's weapon lol, because the more you pull for new chara the less resource and stamina that actually you can save for character you want or needed
myself already play 4 years in genshin and 1 year in star rail have a tons of abundance resource later if you keep active playing this game, so it's better take your time and enjoy the content at your pace for F2P
as f2p got 3 mains pre farmed just wating on weakly and on 50 lvl lol
What is "refresh"?
You use polychromes to get more battery charge. Not recommended for F2P players
Basically, 35-39 farm relics, 40-44 farm mats, 45-49 farm relics, 50+ both are max value so farm any
My only problem with Nest is that the final boss fight is not as interesting as any of the mini boss before reaching him
Is there another limited pack at 60 after you buy the 50 one for 1280?
Looks like there is no pack after reaching 60 I just reached 60 yesterday
This may be a dumb question but what gets refreshed with dennies?
thx for the video, but you know what, i'll just spend my batteries for discs now that im level 40, i love this game so much i refuse to hold back on doing what i want for the sake of efficiency
Holy shit! Test server or not, this is insane. I wish I were rich enough to max refresh until level 50. And no, I'm not being sarcastic; I mean it.
Yeah, they NEED to update the system. Because like, how is the farming in this game worse than in Genshin? GENSHIN?? The worst hoyo game??
I'm at level 40, can someone help me with how can I farm? I already did all of the things I can with my level and don't wanna wait for the batteries all the time
Piper agent = salt and black pepper 🌶 😂😂😂😂😂😂
How much time do you got in your hands to get to 50 in 2 weeks
Moni
Heck I was holding back my xp because I want to step lvl 40 with zhuyuan, currently at lvl 38 close to 39. Prefarmed her DD and lvl mats., Now I am waiting and will welcome lvl 40 with her lmao
What's the advantages of doing this?
Bruh I'm more than a month in and only level 48 despite playing every day. Genuinely don't know how people manage
nothing changes from 40 to 50 of grind grind the increase reward doesnt do shit
no way bro cashed to get xp lmao
I don't know whether locking so many content behind so many hours of gameplay is a good thing or bad thing... like legit almost dropped this game at IK level 35 since it's way too easy.
Brother in Christ how are u already 50
I’m at 45 and I wish I would’ve saved the polychromes. But I still have plenty of things to do so that’s fun 🙂↕️
@@RastaMuffin21 I occasionally refresh once but not every single day I’m 43
Bruh I'm at 36
you havent put a birthday too?
I unlock Withering Core at IK42
wdym weekly bosses cost no energy, I've literally been not doing them at all because I TOUGHT THEY NEEDED ENERGY
Does this game have coop?
Your sacrifice will not be wasted. Maybe. Anyway, guaranteed purple good 🤭
How did you reach lvl 50 in 2 weeks, I only reached lvl 40
In hollow zero core level so fun
I thought the lv cap for characters and w-eng was 70 jdhsjsjs
How did you already gotten to lvl 50?
I've spent all energy and bought energy as well and i'm just lvl 45
Well if you play 10 hours a day and buy energy everyday u can
@@Szalgebach yea if you buy energy till limit is reached every day then i guess it's possible maybe but i thought that buying energy 2-4 times a day is already (too) much :|
easiet hack and slash in the market currently, not sure how hi3 felt rn though
Games been out 20 days. It'll get better as the game progresses idk why people try to speed run the game. Have fun games super packed with content
lol how get to lv 50 or higher if all stuck by 37- 40. Game sucks at lv 40 0 new missions or Events just daylys and f.... Inky.
So ik60 has no real change in gameplay, or at least yet, since this is still 1.0?
As far as we know it's going to take the better part of a year to reach IK lv60
corin and ellen
I'm at level 41 currently.
How can y'all go so fast? XP
Started 3 days late after release, just BP and subscribtion donatee, bought only like 6-8 energy for polychromes. Currently the optimal level for f2p acc is 48 if you manage energy well and aprox 40 baterries saved up for artifacts
just by doing in the HIA they give a lot of XP base on your inter-knot lvl if you Don't know
wish we get more energy tho
Oh, i thought it's an update information... Guess i'm wrong. Same as you, already maxed everything. -_-
Ugh!
Right now, I’m I-K 42, and tbh, I still don’t get why y’all just Jade-boosted to I-K 50 :/ (the amount of jades gotten from timed Shinyu Defense is not going to be enough for the amount you lose, and with the amount of time so far, you can’t get to I-K 50, unless you made boosted, since that’s roughly 70k exp more than what most people have, and around 67k more than people who started at launch, which includes me.)
If you F2P, take your time, and try to build up a base of Dennies and mats to build a team, late game isn’t going anywhere right now.
Getting to I-K 50 is going to take another week for any F2P who’s been playing since launch, or longer, so take your time, and build up a strong base. (I’m farming Dennies and w-engine and chrs lvl mats, since that’s what I need right now, and since this is like HsR, your credit amount will be burned through like hell, also, make sure to prioritize the needed w-engines and chrs for your teams early, it will save you a couple of weeks.)
Gl grinding 👍
6:14 you could buy some batteries
poor f2p: go to the corner and cry this tip aint for you
Players: Stop making us use energy for weekly bosses. Hoyo: okay. *gives 1 item*. Typical. At least it isn't RNG. It's going to take months to level 1 teams cores. All in all, nothing has changed.
Bruh lvl 50 what i even spend my energy stuff like that i still 45 lol and yeah i skip farming disc better focus at weapons and lvl up characters and skills well i need 6 characters max then start farming disc for that abyss but try clear these floors as you can get poly
But you don't just throw a game without anything and say: hey, lv up your inter-knot
Max refreshing huh....
everything for content and in the name of showcasing what’s to come 💪💪
@@cannaaaa no I was searching for this video allll weekend and I’m glad someone did it. I might actually sleep tonight
@@cannaaaasounds like a good tax write off 😅
for those that dont know how to reach 50 thta fast: real money
How are people ald getting to 50? I play every evening and still struggling to get to 40 😂😂😂
So basically genshin and literally every game
i think the level gating in this game really sucks. why is it even there? just treat it like warframe and give them warnings or a recommended level. its to get people to buy and spend more time, but still, no one is doing that for a game like zzz. it's more like time gating than level gating.
This game is so stingy with free pulls its disgusting.
First!
hello :)
Hiii @@cannaaaa! Thanks for refreshing for all of our edification 🎉
People really play this tv games
You probably stopped playing at lvl 15😂. Don't talk
Bro gave up an hour in
Yeah bro this tv game is about surpass wuwa in terms of revenue isn't that crazy? XD
I still play despite the TV, I agree it's trash, but the designs are too good for me 😢
The TV one kinda cool tho
