@@X01_007 when you actually want to play Genshin but every time you login you are reminded why not playing the game is a good choice and the existence of Wuwa doesn’t help that
@@Crispymantis123 Because you're hoping Genshin will improve when in fact the devs don't give a fuck about their community and player base. Look at everything Genshin did before and after WuWa released, they increased the resin cap to 200 but didn't reduce the waiting time, the condensed one cap is still at 5 and added another endgame mode which sucked ass. With version 5, they could've had a real chance to bring back players but they fumbled. 5* standard character selector, useless. How many players from version 1 already have the C6 of those characters? Artifact transmuter system, disgusting. It lets you get one sanctifying elixir and one piece of a whole set of an artifact set, with sub-stats that will still roll like ass. If anything, they should have made it so you can set the whole stats, both main and the 4 sub-stats, of an entire artifact set then it would warrant the 41 days cooldown which I still see as a joke.
@@markleebatiquin9179 Let's wait and see what WuWa does for their first anniversary, then we can compare to how Genshin first anniversary went. Spoilers: WuWa's first anniversary would put Genshin first one to utter shame
Clearly people wanted movement tech. But when the game was never designed with it in mind from the beginning, the best you can do is tack it on by adding new characters and environment based movement tech. Genshin didn't have any major improvements in movement for a whole year after release until Inazuma, which added the janky orb transfer things as well as Sayu, the first character with good horizontal mobility. They have continued that design philosophy to natlan, and will continue to do so in the future.
@@dreadfulman5191I still think they could have just given a universal grapple tool or at the very least actually made the Saurs a traversal option outside of Natlan, but ofcourse Genshin being genshin, profit over QoL.
Bro I swear being an ex-genshin and experiencing these things from wuwa feels like there's always a catch. But no I've just been stockholmed by genshin into lowering my expectations from a gacha game. It was legit like leaving an abusive relationship and healing from it.
WuWa, two months into the game, I have: lvl 80 Calcharo, lvl 90 Encore, lvl 90 S0R1 Yinlin, lvl 90 S2R1 Changli, lvl 70 Verina, all with +25 echoes with decent substats, union level 60, 100% map exploration, Lustrous Razor, standard 5 star weapon selector, 30/30 Tower of Adversity. Time spent playing: 200~ hours. Time spent in cutscenes without skipping anything: 10-20 hours. Time spent having fun: All the time. Genshin, two months into the game, I have: lvl 80 Keqing, lvl 70 Tighnari, lvl 70 Yelan, none of them have a full set of 5 star artifacts, adventure level 45, 15-20% exploration, no 5 star weapons, haven't gotten past floor 7 of abyss. Time spent playing: 200~ hours. Time spent having fun: 100~ hours up until end of Inazuma, the rest was spam clicking through dialogue and grinding artifacts. Time spent hearing npcs yap: 100~ hours (at least it felt like it). F2P on both games. Don't play Genshin anymore, got Shorekeeper on WuWa :)
Having chars not perfectly geared in short or medium time is not as bad as you thing, more in this kind of game where we get like in 2 - 3 months playable contain . Once you get all your chars perfectly geared you wont have any motivation to play the game cause the end Game contain its near to 0

I actually can't believe that there are people who actually thinks Genshin and wuwa has the same traversal. back when wuwa first launch some youtuber even said they love the struggles of traversal. because, in thier own words, "when I get to the mountain peak in genshin the view was worth all the effort"...and just today a genshin player reply under a wuwa video saying that the traversal of wuwa is not different enough to receive so many compliments. They proceed to say Genshin has easy traversal too by bring up the free 4 star that the game gives to the players and 5 stars that needs to be pulled on...
want to point out that Shorekeepers butterfly is the best way to traverse through bodies of water in the game, its both stamina efficient as well as faster than just swimming
I think that'd be good to bring up if there were actually any bodies of water large enough to be an obstacle. The only one in the game is at the black shores but you're given a surfboard minigame that's far faster than shorekeeper's butterfly anyways. Kuro would have to purposefully add annoying areas with water for her butterfly form to really feel significant, but like I said, they're devs that focus on making a good gameplay experience instead of an incentive to spend. I honestly don't really use her butterfly form that often since it feels a little weird on the controls, has a collection radius so small you can just walk right past things, and consumes a boatload of stamina. I'd actually rather prefer manually picking things up and using inferno rider instead if I need to go places.
@@saintontas beside, grapple + double jump and it basically cover half of whatever you're trying to swim across already, if for some reason you needed to swim
Not to mention the only way to make xilonen, the cougar girl that runs on the walls of genshin, work in the rest of the map is to get her c6, yeah 2000 dollars for whats already in every character of wuwa
@@peterrj1973 that’s Genshin for you. When I saw Xilonen I was like you gonna need more copies of her to use her wall run outside of natlan. Not to mention I saw the wall running. It’s slow as hell. I asked my friend, this is the slowest wall running ever Wuwa characters run faster than her. He was like “this for Genshin was already really good” implying that it’s better than nothing
I honestly don't understand some of the arguments that some people use to claim that Wuwa's exploration is less appealing than Genshin's: "The wallrunning removes the sense of accomplishment from climbing to high places" How does sluggishly climbing a mountain while stopping to regain your stamina every few minutes give you a "sense of accomplishment"? Is it supposed to be from having your patience tested instead of your skill or game knowledge? Because that doesn't sound very fun. Plus, if it really means that much to you, you could just...not wallrun? You're not forced to wallrun every time you start climbing. "Since every character can use every exploration ability, no one feels special" When the base exploration features feel so smooth, fluid, and convenient to use, how is that a bad thing? It just means you're free to explore the entire world with just your favorites instead of feeling like you're gimping your mobility if you don't swap your party around to characters more dedicated to traversal.
I remember the days I just HAD to use a party consisting of Sayu, Rosaria, Venti and Kaeya JUST to feel like I'm actually progressing while exploring the deserts of Sumeru... Don't have Yelan and Lynette haven't been released yet. Those were the days... THE ABSOLUTE ANNOYING DAYS...
nah it's because genshin players never touch grass or go outside so running around and climbing stuff gives them the illusion of actually doing it without ever stepping out of their room, thus creating this delusion of accomplishment.
I literally hate exploration in genshin just because of the climbing, and it gets worse each update. Imagine they released a region which supposed to be a jungle or a forest, but in reality it is just a bunch of little mountains with trees. They know climbing is annoying and they abuse it so they can do minimal effort in one update and hoped it would last months for players to complete.
I play both Genshin & WuWa and let me tell you that my muscle memory tried to perfect Dodge and perfect parry once in Genshin's Imaginarium Theater. Also, I really do feel sluggish in Genshin. Vertical movements is such a chore there, while in WuWa I always look forward to wall-running

Genshin just feels bad to play after WuWa (or even ZZZ). This gets even worse when you look at the map and how much bs there is to go through without grapple, wall running or worst of all limited stamina. Combat meanwhile is just 💀💀💀💀
I still can't forget when Genshin Devs stated before that they will never add anymore Endgame content since they don't want to give their players Anxiety. After Wuthering Waves was launched with 3 Endgame Contents, Genshin Devs immediately ate their words, got amnesia all of a sudden and released their 2nd Endgame "Imaginarium Theater" which gave their players lots of anxiety due to its requirements. 😂 Now they are straight up copying WuWa for traversal mechanics, but since it's Genshin, it will always be Paywalled, Money, Money, Money.

@@Mr.Spiller27 That is actually the main reason I even play the game. Never would have, if not for Ganyu. Archers in GI are actual shooters, and they have this unique playstyle I love. @@atomotron well as I understood from your comment, it seems like it's a matter of preference. Wuwa clings to a more reactive combat gameplay, where you need a good reflex to excel in wuwa, much similar to elden ring, sekiro, and other souls game (for sure those games I mentioned are much harder). But anyway my main comment isn't about the combat system of both games. I'm talking about the exploration, building your characters, and the quality of life in both games in general. A lot of gi players are unaware of how gi devs are treating their players so poorly while intentionally designing the game system to force their players to spend more with their predatory monetization schemes
Genshin keeps spitting at their community and they still thank hoyoverse for everything they've done lol. I basically treated this game as if I'm playing Breath of the Wild and it's always a good time
This is the number one reason why I was looking forward to wuthering waves. Without even knowing that it was good, I wanted genshin to have some competition, and here we can see hoyo shooting themselves in the foot by effectively bait and switching its players with the new systems. I play both games, but Wuwa just doesn't seem to cut it. As much as I appreciate their attention to small things, the overall experience is not that great, and the main fault is the combat experience. Aimed shooting is just not a viable way to play it. And as much as they put their attention to the freerunning in this game, the less they attend to the actual world you explore. It feels like a decoration with no interaction between its elements. Hit the tree in Genshin - an apple will fall down, and the hilichurl will go to investigate what happened. Do the same in Wuwa - it isn't even there.
Its about the way I want to play the game. In Genshin you can choose the kind of gameplay you like. In Wuwa, you can't. You have to play the same way everyone else play, which is practice your reaction with no viable alternative.
@@atomotron "you can choose the kind of gameplay you like" hence the enemies that rely on you using fountaine/natlan characters? Or some enemies having straight up immunity to some types of elemental damage? Stop coping, go play an actually good game already.
i used to play genshin and i always had to pull out the interactive map. but now with wuwa i never alt tabed throughout my 3 updates gameplay. best game
Genshin got better recently: The treasure compass now shows the chest's location on the map, on top of its elevation, and it resets the cooldown whenever you open one. Kachina has the resource tracking ability and is a character given for free to everyone who starts the Natlan quest. There's a new built-in detection system to show collection areas. ...still, let's not kid ourselves, had Wuthering Waves not released none of these would have seen the light of day.
I don't think so about the treasure compass because to order have one, you need to craft it many times it need and when you find the chest, that area the treasure compass has a cooldown of 30 minutes & only show one chest at the time but in Wuwa, just click the utilities wheel and show the loopmapper, and you'll see all chests in the big circle on the map immediately

Kuro facilitates leveling, building characters and exploring so we can actually ENJOY them , and I think that does help ppl wanting to pull for more characters. Cuz then we can enjoy bulding them (cuz it doesnt take that long) and then have fun playing them in the story/new area without feeling sluggish. I played genshin religiously for 2/3 years, and when sumeru came out I was soooooo bored of it. The exploration completely took me out of the game, bc that map was MASSIVE. It felt like a chore opening the game. Now I legitimately have so much joy opening wuwa, building my characters without suffering and exploring the map is so gratifying. What you said is key: Kuro respects our time. And it's much appreciated. I'm not a spender in gacha games, but I WANT to in wuwa. I buy the monthly pass, and maybe eventually even the battle pass. Cuz I feel seen and respected, and will definitely continue to play wuwa and have fun while doing it
Oh and another point. Having easy and quick exploration and buidling actually leads to people not skipping the story, and therefore enjoying peacefully our time in quests instead of feeling rushed to finish so we can explore and unlock stuff. I'm actually reading now, and we have a skip button!! I almost never use it lool
i think in the beginning genshin taking inspiration from zelda open world and try to make it a little bit easier to explore but end up make it boring to explore. What make zelda exploration good is not how easy it is to explore but how good the world physics is and the interaction with the world element like rock, water current, snow make it hard to walk, rain make you unable to climb and etc. But when playing fantasy game why bother to make the physics feels real. wuwa do a better job making fantasy open world with the exploration features because you actually feels like in anime fantasy world

The only problem I have with WuWa is I wish I can use the Inferno Rider's Echo infinitely so I can just NYOOM across the map. And it would send any monsters flying if you run through them. That'd be hilarious. And that would make WuWa devs Gigachads, ABSOLUTELY.
God, I so wanted this since the start, it's like they're just letting us have a sip of it. haha Even if it were hindered by walls, ledges, and whatnot (which would make it a fair trade imo), nyooming on the open roads with Rider would be awesome. Hell, I'd even take stamina consumption for using it.
I've been playing both games and I can say that the implementations of the QOL in Wuthering Waves when it comes to exploration in my opinion is better compared to Genshin. First of all Wuthering Waves treasure finder is easier to get and IS not LIMITED to a certain region, and the fact that it shows almost all the treasure in a specific area is absolutely amazing. I absolutely hated it when I found out that the treasure compasses in Genshin are locked behind a reputation standing and only has a limited weekly way to earn experience. They even added a gun gadget so that you won't have to add a gun character in your party. It makes exploration and 100% area easier. And as someone that is kind of lazy, even collecting flowers for ascending your character is easier since it shows you in the map to collect, in comparison to Genshin it just shows you a big circle and correct me if I'm wrong still needs a character so that it shows a specific type of flower / plants. In such a short amount of time, they already added so many QOL and I am hoping that there would be more to make the gaming experience so much better.
I was grinding for shorekeeper mats and realized i had twice too many flowers. I think i was 3 short right after the main storyline. I would have had to visit 3 worlds for a genshin charac
i blame genshin for my burnout and im glad tbh, i mean the amount of effort required to make only one character perfect is extremely high in my opinion, to make it worse there are around 20 characters i wanna upgrade but man i cant, i really cant i used to have a sumeru burn out, it ended but later on but i felt too much pressure when i decided to only focus on upgrading my character and as a result ive logged into genshin 10 times in 5 months now
yea i did burnout cause i do chest clearing explo just to get Arlechinno cause i lose 50/50 n didnt have a good luck but reach the hard pity n i was suffering
I remember in the first 4 months, Genshin finally added Dragonspine, then it took months to add Golden Apple Archipelago before Inazuma release, and even then, that area was limited. Meanwhile, Kuro added 2 place to explore within 4 months. Heck, there's a leak that there will be a new region to explore when Camellya is playable. So ... imagine paying for better exploration experience, when there aren't that many new regions to explore in the long run ... Talk about "Genshin could never"
@@giantship555 less area? Tell that to sumeru desert 😂 barren wasteland with basically nothing with that amounts of land. Also wuthering waves give you more astrites (primogems) when you complete any puzzles

4:20 And even these characters like the new Natlan characters/mechanics all have a way too short duration and way too long CDs on these skills/functions anyway and you still have to constantly manage your stamina all the time. Hoyo seems like they're constantly afraid to give players anything that would make them have too much fun while exploring. Coming from WuWa back to Genshin, exploration there feels absolutely terrible - even with the new Natlan characters & mechanics - which is a shitty practice cuz it's so limited anyways. So yeah, the title of this video is 100% true!
@@Ricepad ToA would be too easy if that happen. Or kuro could just " we give you the advantage, now we give the enemy some advantage to balance the playground"
4:30 is so relatable, since lootmapper radius is expanded I can just rely on that for 100% exploration achievement, so youtube and such is just for those super hidden chests
Something I find curious and funny is the inclusion of exploration mechanics for new characters in WuWa. Like, the exploration is so good at base that you don't really need a limited character to move quickly in the game. What's more, the base movement of each character (except the child characters like Verina, Encore and soon Youhu. Sad for them) it's already so good that most of times I don't use the Rider of my Changli just because, again, I don't really need it and actually I feel less control with the Rider than with my character.
Even with xianyun yelan kazuha after i went back to genshin after trying wuwa it was like treading through mud so I just deleted the game and never looked back. No regrets at all. I never bothered to 100% sumeru or inazuma but in wuwa I was actually surprised to see how much fun it was to 100% a region.
Im still at Liyue cause I couldn’t deal with Genshin, and yet I’m done with the current story of Wuwa and haven’t even experienced everything in the game
Lemme add + if Kuro wouldn't make SUCH A GIGANTIC competitor for Genshin, you guys would never get a free 5 star or free pulls... LIKE EVER, shall I mention, every anniversary, genshin would give u, UNDER 10 PULLS? As a reward? KEKW
The reason for that is actually apparently due to the contract with Sony expiring or something. Do not know WHY that would be the reason though. I think there was also sonething about a lead dev changing. Also, we did get at least 10 pulls every anniversary; its the extra rewards that are trash (like the infamous three pulls). I play both and like WuWa better btw, so i woild say what i say is pretty valid.
A common saying that I hear as a counter to poor exploration mechanics is that it's destination that matters and not the journey or vice-versa. Tbh, though, BOTH matter. If it's too painful and/or slow, a person might quit the game before they ever reach the destination. On the other hand, if the area the player is exploring feels boring and unfufilling to their standards, they may feel they wasted their time and quit. I feel like wuwa does a good job in both areas, wall-running, double jumping, infinite sprinting, and echoes may seem like small additions, but they just make exploration feel more smooth and fun overall. As for the destination, the landmarks in wuwa are look amazing, my favorite is the data torrent. Not saying that exploration in wuwa is perfect, after all, there's always room for improvement in both aspects.

The fact that I have only 5 characters below level 80. The rest are 80 or above, but all of my limited characters are 90 with fully leveled weapons. I even have multiple of the same echo sets. I have 2 electro dps sets, and 2 havoc dps sets, and 2 moonlit clouds sets(one energy, one CR). The amount of resources Kuro gives in order to have all these characters this far is crazy.

It's by far clear that wuwa is better on every aspect while still only at 1.3... imagine what will we have on 2.0 or even 3.0!!!! Wuwa takes the biggest w again- along with my money.
As Genshin player since 1.0 and PGR and Wuwa WW Exploration is quicker, better, fighting boss and killing mob is very enjoyable, the quest can be done faster due to skip button...the down side for this is sometimes I don't remember a lot of NPC or Important character, detail or lore [Even if I find detail on Google or RUclips it is still lacking or missed a some information] GI Exploration is slower but more diverse due to how unique every nation is, Natlan exploration is a bit faster than WW due to Saurian but other nation is a lot slower even though some part of the map has special method or gadget in the area, GI don't have Skip button which make things a lot more slower, really slower [It makes doing quest so boring, the good thing about it is that I have been force to read the story, So, even if I skip I still remember some detail] I didn't agree with GI copy exploration from WW because Hoyo already plan this for sometimes now, Every Nation has it's own unique gameplay but this unique gameplay also limit to it's own nation and it makes things more memorable [I can't remember most of the area from WW, even town and city unlike GI] WW is a lot better in Exploration, but GI is more memorable to me...perhaps because I struggle in it more XD
Here I was thinking that the only 2 things actually worse in Genshin's exploration compared to Wuwa were lack of wall running and grapple. WELLLL, I sure feel vindicated in my distrust of Genshin I've always had (My bf has severe OCD and he can't stop playing it because of that. It's a heartbreaking sight when he gets stressed out by hellish amounts of fomo Genshin throws at the player)
Not to mention that said exploration features are only available in Natlan. On the other hand, in Wuwa, you can use its exploration features anywhere and with an unlimited sprint that doesn't consume stamina and every character can even run up walls as well 😂.
I have been playing since day 1, have not missed a single day, and I just now 100%ed Huanzhou and got level 10 exploration. I am still mising some crucial exploration in the dragon siland. And a looooooot in Black Shores. On top of lots and lots of chests that seem to be rounded up for that 100% area exploration. So, unless you are playing massive hours daily and focus on exploration, I'd say there is a whole lot of land to explore.
I’m doing this for your own sakes. You guys actually think Wuthering waves is quality because genshin is super trash. Reality is both these Chinese games are hella trash and empty compared to single player games like Elden ring, cyberpunk, persona series, god of war, etc. it makes me realize how dumb gacha players are sometimes thinking something just a bit less trash is quality . As soon as you go out and play games that aren’t gacha trash, you’d grow up and realize how dumb it is to defend and advocate for these gacha games.
The only yhing missing is the fact that in genshin after 4 years, you still can't farm character talent material every day, they are locked to specific days, and you can't even save all the resin from previous days you are limited there as well....
The only gated stuff in WuWa is the Special skill up items, that can only be got 3 times a week. Considering you can get 3-5 of them per fight at cap, it's understandable. but fair
8:05 another point and yes this was mentioned earlier that the Natlan characters' "unique" abilities are only comfortably usable in Natlan, is that what the hell will Hoyo be cooking in Sneznhaya? The ability to snowboard/skii? and lock it on a limited character again? (ehem, Mt. Firmament)

Genshin and Wuwa fighting each others about ways to explore. Tower of Fantasy says hi lol. Swimming, diving, flying, vehicle, mount, wall running, sword flying, gliding, grappling hook (but who use that these days), and more.
4:35 they create enviroments that are supposed to look versitile and showcase the culture they take inspiration from, so that it doesnt end up like wuwa where whole huanglong looks practically the same, minus the super small desert somewhere in the corner. And yes natlan introduced new ways of travel FOR NATLAN so that it feels uniqe, and you can Access it through saurians who are absolutly everywhere
I’m ahead of you. Both these games are Chinese gacha trash. Play some single player games. It’d really widen your eyes once you get out of gacha hell and start playing quality games. Gacha games are all trash and mediocre in comparison.
I have only one reservation about WuWa. It can't leave the user logged in if the user doesn't close the game with the "x". Apart from that, everything is better. The quality of animations and emotions on faces always blows me away, and each NPC looks a bit different. There's not as much copy-paste as in Genshin, where everything is stiff, and after so many years even the playable characters have no expression. WuWa blows my mind.
Funny that this video comes out 2 days after I pulled Xilonen in genshin. Even at C0 climbing with her feel like a different game now. I tried climbing the Favonius knights main building with her and she does it with ease in 2-3 leaps. Feels bad to be a new player with half stamina bar and no Cat woman 😭

You know what would be nice tho? If we actually had a map to explore in Wuwa. The map updates have been so small... 1.0 took about 1 week to 100%. Mt Firnament took about 3 days and Black Shores took barely 2 days. We need more gameplay time. Exploration time is also immensely lowered bcs of how super broken the Lootmapper is, which is both a positive and negative. I have more fun moving around in Wuwa compared to Genshin prior to 4.0, but Genshin is more fun to actually explore and do all the hidden lore quests. After 4.0 its a different story, Diving is just spectacular, but its true that exploration feels much slower than in Wuwa. Isnt that what exploration means in the first place? You dont really explore in Wuwa, you just follow the 20 chests marked on your minimap, since Lootmapper will mark 99% of obtainable chests within a mile. And this creates a bigger problem, exploration is over very quickly and you dont spend enough time killing mobs while doing it (also dailies not requiring you to kill anything or go anywhere other than domain/boss), which always leaves you with 0 resources to upgrade, unless you go out of your way to boringly farm all the mobs in the map every week. The Devs realize that their upgrade costs are insane and gave us 2m coins + 90 5star mats for free in the newest event. Thats equivalent to 10h+ of grinding and 960 energy, which is an insane amount of free rewards, all because they realized they fucked up with their drop rates and costs. They need to fix this issue in the long run, bcs I doubt they will keep giving us so many freebies forever. Id much rather wait 3 days or join a friend's world to gather half of the ascension mats I need, rather than be forced to farm coins with energy at least 1 whole day per week and also possibly do some mob grinding in the weekend. Alas, its just the direction they want to take, make the game fast to get over with so people with 5sec attention span dont complain, make the story meh and just skip it all with 1 button. It makes for a good combat game, which it definitely is, but you cant help but feel worried about the future of the game.
Real. Scanning through the wilderness with built in world quests, which contain good amounts of lore bits, deciding the paths to those interesting locations on the map. These things really make you feel like an adventurer.
Great video! I enjoyed both the simple-yet-informative visual design, as well as the information itself that was being presented. A little bit of feedback is that you began to repeat yourself near the end. Repeating something once or even twice is more than fine, but hearing about how Genshin locks improvements to gatcha characters for the 4th time gets a little bit grating. I think that you already did a video on it, but a mention of how Kuro handles “apologems” when compared to Genshin would have been a good way to cap off the video instead, for the peeps that are new to the channel.
I think my main reason why I have more fun exploring in Wuwa is because of the team switching. Like, I always dreaded finding those elemental totems in Genshin, because chances were that I didn’t have any character of that element in the team. Then I would have to switch more because the current team doesn’t have X character that can teleport/fly/jump or something. And again, teams in Genshin need team synergy depending on the character you want to play. Meanwhile, I never switch my Rover out in Wuwa and I only ever change my main team if I want to. Climb something high? Grapple. Shoot something? The new gadget. And that’s it, no need to get a whole different team to open 1 chest. Can play 3 dps too if you know how to dodge, and the teleports heal now, so why healers if you can bonk, dodge and grapple??

Yay, 5 seconds of Xilonen Skates…
Clearly people wanted movement tech. But when the game was never designed with it in mind from the beginning, the best you can do is tack it on by adding new characters and environment based movement tech. Genshin didn't have any major improvements in movement for a whole year after release until Inazuma, which added the janky orb transfer things as well as Sayu, the first character with good horizontal mobility. They have continued that design philosophy to natlan, and will continue to do so in the future.
@@dreadfulman5191I still think they could have just given a universal grapple tool or at the very least actually made the Saurs a traversal option outside of Natlan, but ofcourse Genshin being genshin, profit over QoL.

want to point out that Shorekeepers butterfly is the best way to traverse through bodies of water in the game, its both stamina efficient as well as faster than just swimming
I honestly don't really use her butterfly form that often since it feels a little weird on the controls, has a collection radius so small you can just walk right past things, and consumes a boatload of stamina. thats not true wth what kind of lie is that
wtf? I thought xilonen wallrun ability work anywhere in C0
I honestly don't understand some of the arguments that some people use to claim that Wuwa's exploration is less appealing than Genshin's:
"The wallrunning removes the sense of accomplishment from climbing to high places"
How does sluggishly climbing a mountain while stopping to regain your stamina every few minutes give you a "sense of accomplishment"? Is it supposed to be from having your patience tested instead of your skill or game knowledge? Because that doesn't sound very fun.
Plus, if it really means that much to you, you could just...not wallrun? You're not forced to wallrun every time you start climbing.
"Since every character can use every exploration ability, no one feels special"
When the base exploration features feel so smooth, fluid, and convenient to use, how is that a bad thing? It just means you're free to explore the entire world with just your favorites instead of feeling like you're gimping your mobility if you don't swap your party around to characters more dedicated to traversal.

nah it's because genshin players never touch grass or go outside so running around and climbing stuff gives them the illusion of actually doing it without ever stepping out of their room, thus creating this delusion of accomplishment.

This game is a real genshin killer.,4 years of struggle playing genshin since day 1, all paid with satisfaction within 4 months of playing wuwa, everything in wuwa is sooo enjoyable and easy going, from story, action, exploration and time consumed all balanced and amazing. im sorry to say but even though im a genshin fan but genshin now is really wasting time and money especially after the release of sumeru
I never played Genshin but holy moly the amount of locked content is behind specific units, that part I never heard about.
Wuwa is the only open-world gacha I play and I'm still loving it ever since the game launched. I'm f2p and it's wild that they give these exploration features for free by simply unlocking them farther into the main story.
While one keeps getting worse, the other keeps improving. At this point I only play genshit for the story and nothing else

@@atomotrongenshit rtrd fans really do be coping hard😂

Genshin got better recently:
The treasure compass now shows the chest's location on the map, on top of its elevation, and it resets the cooldown whenever you open one.
Kachina has the resource tracking ability and is a character given for free to everyone who starts the Natlan quest.
There's a new built-in detection system to show collection areas.
...still, let's not kid ourselves, had Wuthering Waves not released none of these would have seen the light of day.

I don't think so about the treasure compass because to order have one, you need to craft it many times it need and when you find the chest, that area the treasure compass has a cooldown of 30 minutes & only show one chest at the time
but in Wuwa, just click the utilities wheel and show the loopmapper, and you'll see all chests in the big circle on the map immediately

Hell, I'd even take stamina consumption for using it.
what a great guy, always pointing out the hoyo gargabe while showing the good things in WuWa. 👍
I would have had to visit 3 worlds for a genshin charac
i blame genshin for my burnout and im glad tbh, i mean the amount of effort required to make only one character perfect is extremely high in my opinion, to make it worse there are around 20 characters i wanna upgrade but man i cant, i really cant i used to have a sumeru burn out, it ended but later on but i felt too much pressure when i decided to only focus on upgrading my character and as a result ive logged into genshin 10 times in 5 months now
yea i did burnout cause i do chest clearing explo just to get Arlechinno cause i lose 50/50 n didnt have a good luck but reach the hard pity n i was suffering

nothing would make me return to genshin ever... Wuwa lives in their brains rent free
**and i couldnt be more happy about it**
I remember in the first 4 months, Genshin finally added Dragonspine, then it took months to add Golden Apple Archipelago before Inazuma release, and even then, that area was limited.
Meanwhile, Kuro added 2 place to explore within 4 months. Heck, there's a leak that there will be a new region to explore when Camellya is playable.
So ... imagine paying for better exploration experience, when there aren't that many new regions to explore in the long run ... Talk about "Genshin could never"
I prefer the genshin way of less area with better quality instead of quantity but less quality.
@@giantship555 The quality you speak of is clearly in wuwa's world too, plus better rewards and easier exploration. That is just cope
@@giantship555 less area? Tell that to sumeru desert 😂 barren wasteland with basically nothing with that amounts of land. Also wuthering waves give you more astrites (primogems) when you complete any puzzles

@@Zip_bomb One of the best world quest is in the desert. There is a lot of interesting places in the desert but a whole lot of nothing between them. And for me Wuwa feel like the sumeru desert.
The traversal is way better than Genshin but the distances are also increased with nothing to use all that space. Running fast and climbing is not as satisfying anymore.

KEKW
True. It just disgusts us players who still play genshin that it took another game with all our feedback implemented: to get them to change.
Waiting for someone to say that wuwa got no influence on GI for giving that 5* standard selector

It's by far clear that wuwa is better on every aspect while still only at 1.3... imagine what will we have on 2.0 or even 3.0!!!! Wuwa takes the biggest w again- along with my money.
As Genshin player since 1.0 and PGR and Wuwa
WW Exploration is quicker, better, fighting boss and killing mob is very enjoyable, the quest can be done faster due to skip button...the down side for this is sometimes I don't remember a lot of NPC or Important character, detail or lore [Even if I find detail on Google or RUclips it is still lacking or missed a some information]
GI Exploration is slower but more diverse due to how unique every nation is, Natlan exploration is a bit faster than WW due to Saurian but other nation is a lot slower even though some part of the map has special method or gadget in the area, GI don't have Skip button which make things a lot more slower, really slower [It makes doing quest so boring, the good thing about it is that I have been force to read the story, So, even if I skip I still remember some detail]
I didn't agree with GI copy exploration from WW because Hoyo already plan this for sometimes now, Every Nation has it's own unique gameplay but this unique gameplay also limit to it's own nation and it makes things more memorable [I can't remember most of the area from WW, even town and city unlike GI]
WW is a lot better in Exploration, but GI is more memorable to me...perhaps because I struggle in it more XD

I tried climbing the Favonius knights main building with her and she does it with ease in 2-3 leaps. Feels bad to be a new player with half stamina bar and no Cat woman 😭
Plus you have to wait until natlan to get her ascension materials. Like wtf
@@kyleabrezzi Flowers will respawn in a few days and 9/10 times people kick you if you asked for their materials in coop. At least that one guy was generous enough to share 🥲
@@kyleabrezzi no u get a free natlan waypoint
@@anormalhumanbeing.3838 yep but her ascencion mats are in Natlan not to mention her boss mats is located at Mualani's tribe even, not in the children of echoes like wth
You gacha players need to open your eyes. Both these games are Chinese gacha trash. Holy hell. Try single player games. These games doesn’t compare anywhere to Witcher 3, r2d2, cyberpunk, rebirth persona etc. it’s not even close. You guys are literally comparing trash predatory gacha vs trash predatory gacha. Grow up and realize both are shit.
The way i see it, they made the exploration this easy, so that you can spend those time on the hologram bosses. Spending hours trying to beat one😂
