@@CircuitReborn I don't think he was trying to stop Ironwood for any altruist goal but to get revenge for being declined a promotion he thought he deserved. Still I wonder what would have happened if Ironwood was removed from power at this point. Team RWBY would lose their influence within the Academy and Military and Jacques would probably pressure the council to put some pro Atlas elitists in charge of the Academy and Military. Watts might take advantage of this.
Eh I don’t think it fits. Like they’re in a dangerous situation or dealing with a big threat and are just treating it like normal? I mean they’re trained to fight from not people so they shouldn’t be nonchalant unless they’re going for a “they’re desensitized” In avatar the humor works because it fits the situation. When Sokka was in the airships he makes an airship slice joke but it works because the threat is completely neutralized in their area (cockpit) vs when there are fire benders about to end sokka and toph Sokka is calm and trying to help calm toph down but he knows it’s the end

Tempering expectations doesn't justify misinformation. There isn't any proof of bankruptcy for RT; bankruptcy is extremely unlikely given that they're owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, a company with revenues in the tens of billions. If Vol. 10 dies, it's far more likely to be because WBD tries to write off RWBY to get a tax break like with their infamous cancellations of completed projects, and not because it can't afford them. These companies are focused on shovelling money to their CEOs and shareholders as fast as possible, and they only care about short-term profitability.
