I also appreciate the honesty of your videos and relate to all the hiccups and technical problems. Keep 'em coming Tom. Like the new TM logo by the way.
Appreciate that you always show the journey (broken cable releases, problems with the film back, forgetting reciprocity failure), the things everybody goes through, but rarely document. Even the underexposed bit at the start looked quite good. The final image is my favorite, so you went out on top.
Thanks Johnny I’m glad you liked the images and particularly the lighthouse one, that was definitely one of my favourites. Thanks again its really appreciated. All the best Tom.
Tom, I find your candor refreshing. No one has it all 100% all the time. Some nice images, I liked the one with the sunrise and the boat right in the reflection. I must admit though that the long exposures with the water taking on that glassy look don't do it for me. Perhaps I've seen it too often by now.
Loved the images, even the ones you didn't like! You changed your intro.. where's the waves?! Another lovely video. What a lovely harbour village. Loved the sound of the water and the gulls. Just serene!
Thanks Pete I had to change the intro it was starting to make me go crazy. It really is a wonderful village full of history and seagulls, but not so many fishing boats these days. All the best Tom.
It’s great that you show all your images whether they have gone well or not. We all make mistakes, I keep rolling past the numbers on my Agfa Isolette and doing myself out of a full 12 shots! I really enjoyed this video and lovely choice of music.
Enjoying your videos so much. I've been in such a slump for a quite a while. I lost all interest in shooting till recently and your work is very much inspiring me. Thank you!
Great video Tom. Nice to see the failure's as well as the good ones and how it can so easily go wrong. Like you say not many people show that. I particularly like the long exposure of the harbour with the blurred boats all facing the camera.
Thanks Graham I’m really pleased you enjoyed the video and like the long exposure image of the boats. It’s definitely one of the better ones from the day. Many thanks Tom 👍
@@grahamhutton3129 yes there’s going to be a video soon with the 35 mm. I’m hoping to get out for a hike and a camp on the coast with it. I’m just trying to find the time but hopefully soon.
I don't care what you say, I loved those opening photographs. Beautifully atmospheric. If you want to avoid reciprocity for long exposure, perhaps you could consider the use of Acros II. Thanks again.
Hi Tony I did on this occasion but I’m starting to think I get the best results when shot at 1600 and developed at box speed. It really is a very versatile film and great to experiment with. Many thanks Tom.
Wonderful images. I actually love the under exposed look.
Thanks very much 😊

Thanks very much Kate that sounds really frustrating but I guess it’s all part of the fun of shooting film. Many thanks Tom 🙏
On my TV the images looked fine to me Tom. I liked them a lot. Interesting video.
Thanks Very much Peter 🙏
That's real life and I appreciate you sharing it with us! I bet you still had a good time though.
Thanks Rupert it was such a beautiful morning and had a great time 👍
The real if of it all but still some nice images 📷👍

Thanks very much, I’m so pleased to hear that. I’ve been there on many occasions, so I’m really happy to help.
Many thanks Tom 😊

@@tomwhelan Thanks for the reply Tom.
Will you be doing any videos with your Minolta 35mm camera you bought and did a video on, earlier in the year?

Tom, Nice Work as always, as specifically the longtime exposure ones❗️
Thanks Ruud 🙏
@@tomwhelan you’re very welcome Tom

Thanks very much I really appreciate your kind words. I’m yet to try Acros ii I’ve heard great things about it. Many thanks Tom.
Hi Tom. Thanks for the great video again. Always inspiring. Have you tried zoom lens? What primes you use? Thanks
Well done Tom. Ya cant win 'em all. Just wondering Tom do you rate your 3200 at 3200 and develop the same?

@@tomwhelan Thanks Tom yeah just playing with these settings now.
Great to show mistakes as well - thanks
