- You can see a lot of Cornwall just two days. A five-hour train trip from London brings you to Penzance where can search for pirates, see nearby Saint Michael's Mount, board the Land's End Coaster for a hop on/hop off journey across the tip of the peninsula and see the beaches, tidal harbor and charm-filled streets of St. Ives. I'll show you what I did with my two days Cornwall and give you an idea of how easy it is to get about. If you like this video I have other like it of Hawaii, French Polynesia and London. If you like what you see, subscribe to my channel, / newsocracy , too.

I'm so fortunate to be born and live in cornwall. Alot of these blogs always take in St Ives Eden project and other popular destinations but locals myself included often avoid these tourist sights due to the overcrowding. One of the remarkable charms of Cornwall is the many hidden gems or rather the spots that others are not aware of. A stunning clifftop walk down to many secluded beaches where you'll find no one else is magical and not to be missed. There's much rich history to be found from pixies, the king Arthur legend, pirates , ghosts and mythical beasts. The first ever locomotive was invented here. I've been here all my life and haven't seen half of what there is to be seen. A longer stay is much reccomended to absorb fully the slower pace of life and the magical charm that permeates this beautiful land known locally as Gods county
I couldn’t agree more. I think a lot of people like me might make it to Brighton visiting London, but might not venture as far as Cornwall because of the time it takes to get there. It’s of course more than worth it. That’s what this video was for: to encourage a bit of exploration to the farther reaches. I can’t wait to get back. This was a quick sampler for me. I plan to spend a lot more time in Cornwall and your post will help me do that. Thanks.
St Michael's mount is a must . Cornwall is must to visit . It's NOT so good in the bad whether. So good YOU had a great time. 😊😊👍👍
thanks! I’ve been wanting to go there for so long. And yes, I lucked out weatherwise.
Fantastic video Jim! We really enjoyed this and appreciate the shots and editing! Glad you enjoyed Cornwall!
Thanks Mark! I love your neck of the woods. I can’t wait to get back.
Me too and it's a shithole these days , born and bred family goes back centuries, and I hate Emmet's
Love st Ives. My cousins live Cornwall. Visit from South Australia 2005 and 2010.
Great game to play in Penzance is Spot The Junkie.
Thank you so much for this lovely video. I'm planning to go to St Michael's Mount next September.
That’s very kind of you. Thanks for letting me know you like it. I hope you have a great time in Cornwall.
Born in Cornwall, lived there about 21 years... best thing I ever did was LEAVE
Which Airbnb did you choose and would you recommend it? thanks in advance.
I stayed in Penzance. It was a nice place and I’ll provide the link below, but the next time I go, I’ll stay in St Ives. That’s really the place I wish i’d spent more time. www.airbnb.com/slink/2qk2OmjZ
Thanks for the wonderful video. Just want to ask for your advice that driving to Cornwall, is it a blessing or nuisance?
i’m sorry for the delayed response. I think if you’re just going to major cities like Penzance or Saint Ives, the train and public transport is best because of parking. If you’re exploring more of the countryside, a car would be a necessity.
Travelling in the UK is easy if it isn't for the frequent train strikes 😂😂
Stay away Emmet's
Did you through summerset or Bridgewater Taunton or Highbridge and Burnham I like in Bridgewater❤
This was very exciting and engaging. Watching from England 🏴 and new subscriber gained.
Thanks for letting me know you like it.
Great video Jim with really good information and footage
Glad it's helpful. Thanks for telling me.
Great video thanks.
Thinking of visiting - thanks for the video! 😁
I hope you do. You can see and do a lot in a short time. Thanks for commenting.
The Bus is the best way to get around, there is an all day ticket for £7/adult and a £50/week family ticket. From the Bus you see over the hedges and get a view you will not get from any Car. If you are fit, stop in St Just, walk down and back to Cape Cornwall and have lunch or just an Ice Cream at Moomaid.
