    Love that gold! The pink brings it out so much. Why does this project not need a Teflon sheet compared to other heat transfer projects?

    • @Expressionsvinyls
      @Expressionsvinyls  7 лет назад

      If my carrier sheet (the clear sheet on my htv) covers my image that I am layering I usually don't use a telfon sheet. The carrier sheet will protect my project. Now if the temperature is too high it can make the carrier sheet shrink up. If the carrier sheet does that you need to turn down your temp.

    I was wondering where you purchased your blank, zip up pillow case! So much easier than having to sew it together after you're finished!

      Hi Jasmine, we have found them at a variety of places. You can find similar at Target or Kohls. We also purchase a lot at IKEA. Hopefully this helps a little.

    Hope this isn't a dumb question, but can I use this process with an iron? Thank you!

    • @Expressionsvinyls
      @Expressionsvinyls  8 лет назад +2

      Hi Jil! This is not a dumb question at all! You can definitely use an iron for any heat transfer vinyl application. We recommend setting your iron to a cotton-blend setting and making sure that the steam function is not on (water reservoir is empty). Thank you for watching!

    What vinyl are you recomend for quality and durability on heat transfer?

    • @Expressionsvinyls
      @Expressionsvinyls  5 лет назад

      We prefer Siser Heat transfer vinyl. When applied properly this brand will last many washings.

    i love the clip but I need to know how you flip reversed your design to cut please?

    • @Expressionsvinyls
      @Expressionsvinyls  7 лет назад +1

      It depends on what program you are using. I am using silhouette studio, if I right click on the image it bring up some options. One of them being a mirror or flip option.

      tks! I traced my sons gamer tag and with your help flipped it and cut from a roll of Korean Heat Transfer (25 m for ony $125!! BUT I worried it will come off after washing ( I followed your ironing instructions and had to re iron inside the design as well.) You were a great help

      She pressed it for about 3-5 seconds. Just long enough to tack it down.

    Can you tell me how you found out if the picture was copyrighted or not?

    • @Expressionsvinyls
      @Expressionsvinyls  6 лет назад +2

      Hi, when you go to google to search an image there is an option at the top just under the search bar for settings. When you click on that there is an option for advanced settings. Within it you can change all the search parameters you'd like. One of them is Usage Rights. In there you can change it to unlicensed and usable images. Hopefully this helps.

      Unfortunately, in the first video we said that we used Siser EasyWeed Foil when in reality we used EasyWeed Metallic. We didn't want to confuse anyone so we edited it so that it was correct. We apologize for any confusion and/or irritation for getting updates on the same video.

    Who the heck has a big ass press waiting at home

    • @Expressionsvinyls
      @Expressionsvinyls  6 лет назад

      Good Afternoon, there are quite a few home businesses that we sell to and do tutorials for that use heat presses like this. If you do quite a bit of heat transfer and are able to afford one they are quite handy. Otherwise, using a home iron works just as great. Thanks!
