Glad you saw this one; Morgan is right up there with Floor Jansen and Haley Reinhart. She has a couple of duets with Haley, and a just insane number of videos on her YT channel (over 250 the last I looked.) Her cover of Sweet Child of Mine, with just Scott on piano, is amazing. During the pandemic, she and her husband, Doug Wamble, did a daily series of covers from their living room that are outstanding. Looking forward to your next reaction to her!

This is pretty good. It’s so hard to cover Hozier, especially this song because it was played so much.
If you don’t listen to/follow Hozier on your own, he’s got so much more in his catalog that is incredible. I would definitely recommend checking out more by him.

Morgan did her voice training at Juilliard, where she focused on musical theater (she's done some Broadway) and opera (which honed her power and vocal control). She has an impressive catalog of music, covering songs from The Beatles to Joni Mitchell to Aretha Franklin, Sam Smith, Nirvana, and a full concert based on the music of Nina Simone. Not many people know that Hozier (full name Andrew Hozier Byrne) started out as a member of the Irish vocal group Anuna. In this video from 2012, he sang solo for the first time with the group.
