@Rollz For Lolz 2 I know the crucible was an energy sword, I'm saying it's similar. In an interview hugo and marty actually said that the blade in this is not actually the crucible. The crucible is it's own thing and this is a different blade.

Bethesda still got their crummy hands in this. No deathmatch, main campaign with missing pieces on future paid dlc, and again, no mod support. The team that made this is amazing. Their publisher/parent company SUCKS.

Many of us have been playing doom since the 90s on old windows 95 pc's lol. We share a common bond in that we all grew up playing doom . We are all a brotherhood of doom slayers 🤘

Graphics is awesome, performance is awesome (constant 144+ FPS at Ultra Nightmare Graphics preset) and finally the story, its literally out of the world!!! Not once you will feel bored while playing this game.
@@m1stern00by if you like fast paced action fps with lots of blood then yes, it's a must buy. Also at Nightmare difficulty it gets considerably hard, consider that if you are into hardcore stuff like Dark Souls/Blood Borne.
I think they maybe were a bit afraid to show the full picture after 2016's doom; I think if they had shown having to chainsaw a lot for ammo, quick switching, etc, people may have been surprised/a bit upset. Maybe they decided to switch things up after this reveal as well and make it more fast-paced like it launched
It is a showcase after all. If we were promoting something, of course we would want our target audience to know what we are promoting/showcasing, and let them experiment themselves after they get their hands on the product

I feel similar. I got my money out of Doom 2016, and Eternal is lookin' gooooood! However, in this world of digital downloads, there can't be a shortage of copies of Eternal. Nothing wrong with waiting a few days to see how things shake out.

I like how when everyone saw the Marauder, the tone in everyone’s voice changed immediately. They knew they were gonna be in for a treat whenever he appeared.
I've beaten the whole game, and the DLCs, and I just watched the whole video like it was the first time. They really knocked it out of the park with this demonstration and more importantly- with the game. Easily the best FPS on the market right now.

I play this game almost every other day still and watch videos on it. It feels like playing halo 1 when you just knew it was special. Best game in the genre to come out in a long time

What’s ever really impressive, cool and satisfying is that the developers promised that the trailer, the gameplay demonstration will not change once the game is out in public. Not like other developers of other games make promises and they lied when their game came out poorly. I respect they guys who work really hard to satisfy their fans. Good job guys
Carmack is sort of cut off from Doom at this point. He's in Oculus and Facebook got in some legal trouble with Zenimax so I feel like he's got his lips sealed for him regarding the new stuff. Romero, though, has been loving this stuff.

Carmack is sort of cut off from Doom at this point. He's in Oculus and Facebook got in some legal trouble with Zenimax so I feel like he's got his lips sealed for him regarding the new stuff.
Romero, though, has been loving this stuff.
John Romero loves Doom 2016. I believe Tim Cain also likes it too.
John Carmack has been pretty silent.
