@@tiestofalljays Actually, I think turn-based made Like A Dragon better. But specifically because it was Ichiban being an over the top fan of Dragon Quest. It was absolutely hilarious and just worked because of that exaggerated character trait. I wouldn’t want ANY other Yakuza game being turn-based.

Yeah, these few reviewers that also care about fidelity of eyebrows would give additional point or two for that artistic choice. But it's a game, and it doesn't look good to me, regardless of it's being bug or feature. And i played some stop-motion games, didn't look like constantly lagging as this one.

As a Playstation 5 player and mostly gamer, I haven't played Xbox since really the 360.That was the last time I felt they had any sort of good gaming.
This is a HUGE W for Microsoft. Doom and a Call of Duty game that actually has a campaign I am interested in automatically launching on Gamepass? Sign me up.

First of all, the major publishers have a ton to do with the success of gaming and even indie gaming. Without these companies making money, no one would be giving ANY money to new studios or small teams to make games. It just wouldn't happen.
Second of all, gaming is all about franchises. Always has been. Mario, Sonic, Doom, Final Fantasy, etc. All these franchises paved new paths.

Expedition 33 looks like old style legend of dragoon gameplay. Turn-based with button click combos mixed in. With graphics on another level

If everything, from characters to objects was low fps like in _Callisto Protocol_ then i wouldn't have a problem. _Midnight's_ cutscenes are 60 fps, the main character is at low fps and background objects are also at 60, it feels off.

From the top of my head, the only shows I think are on the same level as this Xbox one was that Sony E3, I think 2015, when they revealed FFVII Remake, Shenmue 3 and Spider-Man PS4 and Nintendo's 2014 E3 when they revealed Amiibos, Splatoon, Mario Maker and Zelda BOTW. Legendary stuff.

Gears trailer was the GOAT this year. I got hyped up all over again especially because its the "Halo Reach" of the Gears franchise with giving us a prequel

Dragon age VeilGuard looks horrible though, they did Varric dirty, he's unrecognisable and it just looks like a Cheap knockoff, apparently it was supposed to be an MMO they were working on that has been revamped into a Single player, it screems mobile game Quality.

You must not know the genre well then. Mick Gordon's Doom: Heavy modulation, synths, more dynamic throughout. Meshuggah: guitar solos, static and single-tracked (relies on vocals to achieve dynamic sound)

Mecha Break is sick. Anyone who loves Armored Core especially the last one that came out is going to love this if they like PvP. I reached rank 1 as Luminae which was the only support in the last beta and loved every single minute of the game with the boys. Rocking a team that has the same colors looks so awesome, we ran red, white and blue and the mechs just look so good. Easily the number 1 PvP game coming soon that me and the boys are looking forward to especially after playing it. Just wish it was coming out before 2025... big sad.
Expedition 33 kind of gives me "shadow hearts" vibes. One of my favorite PS2 games of all time.

But honestly, she just looks like tom boy, she doesn't even look ugly. Last year people literally pulled the worst looking image from first trailer to fit their narrative. No, she's not hot ...it would be weird af if she was, in the world of Fable.
@@Mmachine88 Was kind of the tipping point. I agree that Fable's protag looks totally fine. But you would be lying if female protagonists haven't had a bunch of cases in recent memory where they were made much more ugly than needed simply to fit an agenda. Blue hair, half shaved head, less than average face, overweight body types, etc.
It's like the equivalent of making male protags overweight simply to make fat men feel better about themselves. Since normal guys in videogames are buff to an unrealistic degree.

My whole point is literally people trying to say aspects of the game are some kind of woke agenda without taking into consideration what the game is all about and being extremely disingenuous. Gears of war is so good! If I remember correctly, E-Day is 14 years before the first game. That’s a lot of time. That’s lot of content to experience.
Fr, all the big battles and crazy stuff went down in that time. The gears in GoW1 are like a shadow of what’s leftover from the war.

just so everyone is aware South of midnight is made with a slow framerate they wanted ti to be like stop motion which is why it looks like the animations are 5 fps it was on purpose
