- Has my Dream Guitar, The Gibson les Paul Classic, live up to my expectation? To my surprise, it has exceeded my expectations. The fit and finish were flawless. The playability was next level. I also want to say a massive thank you to one and all who sent there well wishes and congratulations to me. I was totally shocked and delighted at the same time. Thank you once again to one and all for your love and support ❤️

That’s Stunning Lemuel, you deserve it mate. That’s a lot of Les Paul for the money, an absolute bargain, you can pay more for an Epihone these days! Enjoyed your playing too, especially once you relaxed into it. Quite Green/King IMO.

Beautiful Gibson Les Paul, I have few Gibson Les Pauls myself (I’m just a rhythm player myself, lead guitar was too hard for me), I mostly play AC/DC covers.

Holy macaroni Batman. You have seriously tasteful blues chops my man. A Gibson Les Paul has always been my dream guitar. Shoot id take any one of them and just make it work. It wouldn't matter to me. That guitar has a really nice tone. But a lot of it is in our hands. I enjoyed it man. I certainly subscribed.

You know, for Gibson LPs I really love a plain maple top. Nothing crazy. On my PRS guitars I love crazy flame but, what you have there with a beautiful burst and just normal maple to me looks so much better than the crazy flame top Gibson guitars. And that sound, you have that thing sounding great! Super tasteful playing! Take care!

One will always remember the day on which they got their first Gibson Les Paul - a joyous occasion to be sure. Yours is a fine looking and sounding specimen. I got my first Gibson Les Paul (new 2009 Traditional/purchased in 2012) as an extremely late 40th (almost 41st) Birthday present; partially from myself, and the rest from my wife. Congratulations!
Did you add the gold bridge and tailpiece, or is that how it came from the factory?

Just Finished Watching: It sounds Fantastic and I’m sure it plays the same, lots of options with the push pulls and outa phase sounds, I got a 60s one a few years back and I love it, it plays like a dream, nice slim neck, I couldn’t get on with the 50s thicker neck my hand didn’t like it, That’s a rule I always go by, if the fretting hand doesn’t like it don’t buy it, I also dropped down from 10 to 9 gauge strings, it’s all personal preference of course, but great stuff you seem very happy with it and you should be as they are expensive instruments in the last year or so they seem to have jumped up about £400 but you get what you pay for in most cases … Great tasteful playing by the way you got them Freddy King licks going on 😝 .. Happy Days 👍🏻⭐️🌞🎸

Gorgeous guitar! And it sounds even better than it looks! lovely playing too, you really do it justice... Tone-wise it reminds me a little bit of Jeff Beck during his oxblood Les Paul era in the 70's. Has that similar lovely midrange. Yep, sounds great!

Congratulations on your dream guitar! I too always wanted a Gibson Les Paul. Then I bought one and could NEVER keep it in tune...especially the G string. Also, the angle of the headstock resulted in it getting cracked very easily. Then I sold it and purchased a PRS Tremonti model and it has been the best playing guitar I have ever had.
Hopefully your experience will be much better than mine. Enjoy the Gibson!

I have 2 LP Classic 60's, one Ebony and the other is a Limited Faded Tea burst. Great guitars both flawless and play like an ACE.

@@lem432 so, do you think the classic is a better deal than a standard? I personally like the pushpull options as the standard lacks them. I do recommend trying a Supreme as well.

It's all about that neck pickup. I got my dream guitar which turned out to be an '89 Les Paul Standard with the Bill Lawrence Original pickups in it. It was a secondary purchase because I was really in St. Louis to get the 6g6B Bassman. Love them both. Digging the hell out of your style too, that sounds like a little BB and a little Zappa.

Sometimes it’s ok not having bank accounts full of money to buy whatever guitar we want when we want. It grows a passion for a particular guitar and once we get it we truly take the time to appreciate it, feeling grateful to possess it. And we don’t take the instrument for granted because we can just buy and sell at a whim.
My dream guitar is a 355/335. I have copies, similar, but not an authentic Gibson. Not only am I working financially towards it, but I’m working musically towards it. Great video and wish me luck

Nice soulful playing on a nice guitar, Lamuel! I prefer humbuckers to single coils and the shorter scale of a Gibson compared to a strat. I was so lucky to have found a second hand Tribute for little money (some small, unimportant flaws). Yours has neck- and body-bindings which my tribute lacks, but the pickups are the same, so is the tone, I guess. If Gibsons just weren't so expensive!

I have a seafoam green 2017 classic. It’s beautiful and plays like a dream. I love the zebra pickups. I want a cherry or dirty lemon sunburst next . I hope Gibson doesn’t raise the price . I actually like classics better than standard’s or traditional models. I also want a black custom . Should always have at least 2 les Paul’s before anything else in my mind. Just incase one goes down. Lol
