For the Pellet Poser I'd like to suggest too a subtle loose thread that doesn't completelly ruin the surprise, but does reward attentive players and punishes careless ones, such as the number being mirrored or the petals being pale yellow rather than white.
It would be cool if when you kill the pellet poser and bring it back to the onion it can kill the pikmin in the onion and the pellet had like a negative number or something.
That's a pretty cool concept but I think that it would be a living nightmare because idle pikmin would pick the petal up and run away with it. If you let them take it back to the onion, you lose pikmin, otherwise you have to frantically chase them and waste lots of time going backwards. Also, even if you call your pikmin back, trying to pick up just the corpse and leaving the petal alone would be quite infuriating. @@JustAYellowPikmin

If you want to, you should do a part two. Personally, I would love to see more gloom enemies. Gloom is so criminally under used in the game and seeing the boss use it is so nice, but still, amazing job.
While it would be cool, that also would reduce how special Gloom is. Because it's SO rare and dangerous, it makes the few enemies who DO have it all the more important.
My take would be, in 5, as the new group of people now try to colonize pnf404 and uncover its mysteries, gloom is revealed to be concentrated radiation. And a new pikmin is revealed to handle it. Orange pikmin, which are also immune to explosions
@@SubreonI think that's an awesome idea for what gloom is, but i also think if orange pikmin were immune to it, they'd be a bit overpowered. Those are probably the 2 deadliest hazards in the whole series, (more so the gloom from pikmin 1) with a bomb rock being capable of a whole squad wipe in I think every game
The pikmin community always manages to shock me at how dedicated they are. Not too long ago a Minecraft mod came out that replaced every enemy with pikmin enemies and it was insanely well made. Just as this video right here. Honestly one of the best videos I’ve ever seen on this website. Your art looks incredible as well.
I came here for pikmin, but the pure quality was stunning. The art, transitions, text, memes, and also your voice were all amazing, and you also explained it all very well!
Wow your editing style is amazing, didn't expect this quality from a fresh channel! I love all the design concepts and artwork as well. Keep up the amazing work
I’d suggest a change for the new boss concept: remove spewing red smoke in a magnitude relative to its hour hand of the timer, have the timer be separate from the health bar and instead tie it to a time before exploding, turning it into a volatile dwevil-like boss (except the explosion could be big enough to eclipse half of its arena), therefore making it more important to defeat the boss as quickly as possible, it may otherwise be unlikely that you can run away from the boss before it explodes, you could find cover (however scarce that may be depending on the arena layout) to avoid the explosion
that Man of the Hour is beautiful, love how it's like Man at Legs, and the clock hands to show it's health is really awesome! you did a fantastic job on all of the enemy designs!
The Man-of-the-Hour is a really interesting concept. It reminds me of a discussion a friend of mine and i had about the Man-At-Legs regarding how Oatchi trivializes the fight and a possible redesign so that Oatchi doesn't turn the fight into a literal joke. We called it the Man-At-Legs Mk 2.5 (real creative i know). Instead of sporting an explosive machine gun, it had a rapid fire laser turret. The laser bolts did not deal splash damage but they moved alot quicker AND the laser turret would rotate alot faster as well. The lasers would have slight deviation from the main target to give that "suppression" feel. The kicker however is the Man-at-Legs Mk 2.5's two new weapons. The MaL 2.5's room would have cover like raised metal bits or walls just like the vanilla MaL. But occasionally, the MaL 2.5 would open up the top half of its body instead of the lower half to reveal a mortar. This Mortar unlike the laser turret would attempt to lead its target, firing ahead of where the player is moving. This means players using Oatchi to easily gather pikmin and dodge the laser bolts would have to run in zig zag patterns or a circle instead of an easy straight line, while also forcing players out of cover lest they be hit by incoming explosives. The MaL 2.5 marks the ground with a yellow crosshair spotlight, and it leaves behind red after images of where the mortar rounds will land. At half health, the Mal 2.5 can use both weapons in quick succession, though not at the same time and can only quick swap once per attack cycle (i.e, if it starts its attack cycle using its mortar to flush the player out of cover, it may then switch to the laser turret and fire on the player but it cannot swap back to the mortar until its next attack cycle). The player will have to either run from cover into a hail of laser fire, or stop running in circles in an attempt to confuse the MaL 2.5's mortar as it will allow for an easy laser turret follow up. The mortar does however have a weakness. It cannot target anything too close to the MaL 2.5, which can force it to end its attack cycle early. Finally, if you think about charging the MaL 2.5 while it is using its mortar, it has one last trick up its sleeve. Instead of shaking pikmin off after a delay, the MaL 2.5 would charge up for about a second and a half before unleashing an electric discharge around itself, stunning the captain and Oatchi if they do not immedietly clear the area, while also launching pikmin away from itself. This defense shock works like pikmin 4 electricity however instead of instant death like in pikmin 2. This would punish players if they just mindlessly use Oatchi's ram attack, as well as prevent crafty players from immedietly exploiting a weakness in the mortar's blind spot. This move does have a lengthly cooldown however, so it can be baited out to waste this attack. Yellow pikmin are immune to being killed by this attack, but would still be launched off the MaL 2.5, though at a greatly reduced distance. While the electric discharge is on cooldown, the Mal 2.5 will default to shaking pikmin off like most other creatures. TL:DR Man at legs combined with bearded amprat and gattling groink.
Yo these slap. The pellet poser is definitely my favorite. Love the idea of penalizing just charging everything in the case of the bumbling bulborb and giving pinks a use with the flukewhip. Man of the Hour is so cute- it reminds me of a coconut octopus - but a spider.
That was great. It's almost too great. I have an idea of my own. Imagine you enter the boss room and find a giant gray rock pile and a huge black shell in the middle. You get closer and start to attack it, and suddenly the gray rocks start to fall off, and lava comes out of the cracks. It turns out it is a pyroclasmic sloochsnail. A giant magma slug with a giant black shell. It starts spitting out rolling fireballs towards you. It also starts to move towards you, trying to eat your pikmin. You notice that there are wires around the arena that are broken. You take yellow pikmin and connect all the wires where then the sprinkler from above turns out, detecting the smoke. The creature turns gray like it is stone and stops moving, resembling what solid lava looks like in real life. At that point, you are able to walk on the creature and get to the shell. You notice that you are creating cracks in the creature as you keep walking. These cracks begin to expand, and lava shoots out of them like a geyser. The more you walk, the shorter the creature regains the ability to move again. As these geysers come out of it, pyroclasmic slooches pop out and scurry towards your pikmin attack the shell. Once you go through its cycles multiple times, the attacks get harder and faster. The shell will explode, and the creature will shrivel up like the pyroclasmic slooch once it dies. I think this fight would be cool because I liked the wire idea from pikmin 3. I also like how it resembles how solid lava works in real life where molten lava shoots out of the cracks.
Wow this is an awesome idea!! I love the use of the Yellow Pikmin! It’s a shame they didn’t bring back electric currents in Pikmin 4. Thanks so much for taking the time to share 😄💖
Ok this Video was Phenomenal. the Ideas and art are literally the best I've seen in the Pikmin community, i LOVE your style and i LOVE your ideas. Keep it up. And welcome to the Pikmin RUclipsr Family. 💙💙💙
When I first saw the thumbnail I was worried the pellet poser would would be a bit unfair and not well executed based purely on appearance, but I was pleasantly surprised. The slight delay and different interaction by the Pikmin made all the difference.
I could imagine the Man-of-the-Hour being a fake out final boss or something. Like you fight it and its hard as if its the final boss, only to realize there's an entire post game with an even harder final boss later.
I’ve never expected one of my tiktoks to ever be in a youtube video 😭. And in one as great as this, it truly is an honor. These concepts are just as fantastic as your art. And from such a small channel it truly is impressive. If you keep up with the great content there’ll be no doubt your channel will keep growing. I’m sure many others and myself would love to see more.
@@paracosmparty It’s the one at 1:29, I don’t really care about being credited it was just so surprising to see 😭 plus the @ is already there. Great video, really. The Man of the Hour was definitely my favorite lol.
I am in love with the Man o’ the Hour, the design is so weird in the best way possible and wonderfully unique, the mechanics are well thought out and the clock hands matching the health bar is genius, plus I love the name. Also your rendering is gorgeous and the gold metal looks so good. My only real critique with any of the designs is that most of them don’t really feel living-enough, particularly the Flukewhip and Pellet Poser. One thing I always loved about Pikmin’s creatures (particularly more modern ones, hence why the Creeping Chrysanthemum was redesigned) is how all of them feel goofy and alien, but also natural and cohesive, taking traits of real animals and mixing or abstracting them. Some of the enemies in this video feel more like beautifully rendered amorphous blobs with gimmicks glued onto them. Still, great designs overall, would love to see more in the future
These are amazing concepts, you just earned a sub!! I love spider-like enemies (despite being arachnophobic) so seeing Man-of-the-Hour made me very happy, it’s such a cool idea
Pikmin enemies are at their best when they’re scary. It’s annoyed me for so long how 3 and 4 have moved away from that and made most enemies an inconvenience at worst. I LOVE traps in Pikmin games and these are absolutely perfect! Such an amazing video!!
I love all these designs! The rendering of the bumbling bulborb in the dark is sooo pretty, I can imagine almost imagine what a 3d model of the creature would look like! The boss design is also an interesting spin on your standard arachnorb. I love the idea of the flukewhip too, we need more enemies that take multiple pikmin types to defeat :o
I was shocked to see how few views there are here and how few subscribers you have, this was an insanely awesome video with some really cool creatures!!!
I realized later the youtube channel was pretty new. This video was just SUCH high quality I assumed this channel's been around for a long while. @@magentaface2750
The greatest video I've ever watched. I've also drawn fan-made enemies back when I was little. Ever since the original Pikmin 3. Especially the Pellet Poser and Man of the Hour. I've been a big fan of camouflaged enemies since Creeping Crysanthemum and Quaggled Mireclops. I really wanted to see more of your enemy ideas. It's so interesting.
I love the editing for this video, and you’re a really talented concept artist! They’re *blooming* with personality Hope to see more stuff from you soon
Bumbling Bulborb would probably be my favorite overall since I've always wanted a "night species" bulborb that physically looked different (color, new ability, etc). Since it also has the inclusion of spikes, there's more uniquness that comes with it. Besides the other nice enemy concepts, the video strucutre, art, and music choices were top tier. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see more in the future.
Love these guys you created! This video in general just gives off a very cozy vibe that feels so nice and comforting to watch. Look forward to seeing what else you may make.
I have a really good idea for the man of the hour: rock pikmin when bouncing back after an attack land on the front casing, when they're crushed, the man of the hour takes a small amount of damage, but the rock pikmin still die, but it can't be poisoned by eating whites. The other crushing attack doesn't damage it and only kills rocks on a hard surface. Oh and by the way, you're drawing soooo good.
Honestly I saw your video by chance in my RUclips feed saw the thumbnail and thought "Yo! That's really cool actually!" and man I am blown away by these concepts!! The way you draw and render and all that is absolutely phenomenal and a joy to watch! I will admit I was mostly just listening while checking the screen from time to time to see what you meant and had done but this was a brilliant art video to listen to while I also did art! You're getting me back in my Pikmin phase for sure, these enemies were all brilliant so well thought out, maybe they should hire you for the next Pikmin game I also loved the "I know this boss is grueling but that makes me happy" we're gonna suffer BUT we're gonna have a good time about it :D Liked commented and subscribed honestly!
Honestly do like the ideas of these creatures, and I especially like the art you made for them, makes it a lot easier to imagine them in the actual game. Only thing I'm left wondering about is the corpse and stuff relating to it, like, if it has a corpse, what would it be? How much would it weigh? How much Pikmin/Pokos would it give, you get it. Regardless, impressive job I'd say.
I'd say that the Pellet Poser would probably take 10 pikmin to carry, and would make about the same number of of them, plus one more if you count the pellet. For the Bumbling Bulborb, I'd say it should weigh about the same as a spotty bulborb but be twice as valuable due to being much harder to kill. The Burrowing Flukewhip would probably slightly heavier than dwarf bulborbs, and not be worth more than 10 pikmin. The Man of the Hour is an arachnorb, so it probably would not leave a corpse and would have a treasure instead.
These were all such great, well thought-out concepts! I don't have much to say honestly other than that, but I did want to leave a comment to feed the algorithm because I think this video deserves to be seen by more people :)
@paracosmparty ooo thank you! I'm trying to learn digital painting more but none of the brushes I've tried so far have hit home haha, gonna check em out later!
holy shit these are so well thought-out and made. i hope some version of at least one of these concepts makes into pikmin 5 because they’re really cool. fantastic work ❤
The Man-of-the-Hour is an INSPIRED design! It fits so perfectly with... EVERYTHING! The Pikmin series' silly-yet-quietly-disturbing tone, the enemy naming conventions, the visual design - it LOOKS like an arachnorb, it'd fit right in in a lineup! AND it was directly inspired by the quirky health meter design?! The designers of the Pikmin games are the madmen who looked at Pikmin 2's fast-paces real-time-strategy competitive multiplayer mode and went "What if we put BINGO in it?" AND THEN MADE IT WORK! And you sir, I think, would make them proud.
The pellet posser could work as an enemy, but they would need to have a certain detail that makes them stand out from any other pellet possie.... maybe less petals, a small alteration to the number, or even some markings on the stem
it's called a 'tell' and I agree. It would have to be very finely balanced as to not scare players away from a safe way to grow Pikmin. I reckon to match the great risk it should have a great reward like a 40 pellet, a number you wouldn't see on a normal posy.
So well composed!!! You can tell you’re passionate about the game. You’re art work is nice as well!!!! I don’t even play Pikmin but I enjoyed every minute of this video! Keep up the good work!
We needed a fan who could make concept art, those concepts are neat and lovely for the uses of pikmins, even more for winged and rock to shine. Its also funny how half of the conceptual enemies can't do anything to the rock pikmins lol.
Wow, these are beautiful! I'm absolutely in love with the Pellet Poser and Man of the Hour! Clamping enemies and those in the arachnorb family really annoy me, so they're be such a fun challenge. And man, the health bar-to-attack count concept for the MOTH? Really lovely attention to detail. Great stuff!
That last design absolutely secured a subscribe from me, the man-at-legs is my favourite boss and not only is that an incredible design but it also has an incredibly genius name. Man-of-the-hour is so genius
Your art is amazing!!! Your use of lighting, shading, highlights, form, and depth really stand out! Your artstyle is also quite polished, I like the color theory and color shift in your artworks.❤❤❤ Your content and commentary is also very soothing and informative. I like the interesting biological attributes you put on your enemiess similar to real life animals. Your vocabulary range is wide and use of it is also very great. Lastly, your creativity is exceptional to implement these complex designs and their interactions, functions, and purpose of the game.
Perhaps this is a bit too fantastic but the Man of the Hour gave me the idea for an enemy that has control over time, it’s attacks will cause portions of the day to go by in an instant but setting the watch back by attacking it can potentially give you more time in the day
As a massive fan of Winged Pikmin, which is my favorite type, so having an enemy like the Flukeweed that requires Wings to be defeated while also adding another crystal-coated enemy for Rocks to do their thing with is a wonderful idea!
Not only do I enjoy all of these ideas, the background for the Man-of-the-Hour having that cool farm-style fencing and yellow grass would be such a fun new area that Pikmin has yet to implement. A barn area would be so iconic. 🌱❤️💛💙
Really loved this video, and it was a super cool watch! And for the Man of the Hour... it's quite the cool _watch_! If you want another dumb joke; the slam attack could be called a _time crunch_! If I could suggest anything for a second video; play around with the number of eyes! Binocular animals are really common in Pikmin, so playing around with 3 can make for some absolutely crazy designs!
This was amazing! All the concepts and art was great! The meme transitions were a little odd, but everything else was done really well! I can tell that you like surprises...
These are incredible!!! I once saw a concept of an enemy imitating a pikmin captain to lure pikmin. I just love enemies that imitate their surroundings!
The Pellet Poser was immediately a 10/10 visual design, enemy concept, and name. The Flukewhip is also a great idea. Way too few enemies/bosses/puzzles take advantage of using one/some Pikmin (or preferably, a type) to accomplish some task, and while they're on that, using another Pikmin (or preferably, type) to actually deal damage. I can only think of the Armored Cannonbug off the top of my head.
Love the art as well as all the cool ideas for pikmin enemies! The idea of needing multiple types of pikmin to defeat an enemy is simple but really cool
I LOVE these enemy ideas. One nitpick I have however is that the bumbling bulborb is not really balanced for new players. As you said in the video, if the player charges it while its asleep, their entire squad is dead. This is obviously avoidable for someone who knows how the enemy works, but for a first encounter, it comes off as unfair and can lead to player frustration. My suggestion is to have the spikes function more the porquillion; basically acting as a shield that knocks back and deflowerizes Pikmin. While this may seem like a huge nerf, I think needing to fight a bulborb from the front and without a charge option is already a pretty good challenge. Even bulbears give the player the option to sneak up from behind.
I’ve only seen pellet poser so far, and I LOVE HIM. It’s the perfect new enemy that is like a relative to a species but also completely different, and it’s scary just thinking it slowly closing its mouth like a Venus fly trap.
I love the eyes you draw for the creatures! Seems like you like the slit eye design, which I think should appear on more enemies imo. Keep up a great work!
Whoa am I so glad I found this video! Your art style is incredible, your designs are i credible and your ideas are incredible. Absolutely loved every second of this!
I love your ideas! The pellet poser and bumbling bulborb are my favorites. You just earned a subscriber. If you are interested, here are a couple enemy ideas of mine: Gilded Wraith: A wraith that hides inside a golden oil lamp like the one the genie was in from Aladdin. The wraith sleeps inside until the pikmin try to carry the lamp. Then he wakes up and hops about trying to squash the pikmin for attempting to steal his home. Not a difficult fight, but one meant to catch players off guard. Shadowcloak Hunter: An unseen enemy with glowing eyes that stalks the player throughout a dark cave before a boss fight, the hunter will pick off unatended pikmin or attack the player if you make too much noise. The hunter cannot be damaged, as it will disappear into the darkness if you try to attack it. A mix of the water wraith and the Warden from minecraft, it would encourage stealth, mindfulness of idle pikmin, and patience instead charging about. At the end of the cave, you activate a lamp and reveal the hunter to be a fluffy black cat, and with the light on, you are able to damage it slightly, before it flees leaving a treasure. I think a cat boss would make a great encounter for a pikmin 4 dlc with the game's dog theme.
These are so neat! I do agree that Pikmin 4 could’ve used more unique enemies. Its cool seeing someone make enemies with both unique designs and attack strategies!
This is a type of video I’ve always wanted to make!! Designing new characters for games I love is a passion of mine. Thank you for proving that it’s possible!
I rarely comment on videos but your art is way too good for you to only have 13k subscribers. Hope you find success with turning your art into a full career, keep at it man
I love what you thought up in this video, especially when it comes to the boss. Though I think aside from the boss, which is my favorite of the bunch, my second favorite is the Burrowing Flukewhip with how both the Winged and Rock Pikmin are used against it. Either way, I think you just got yourself a new subscriber. ^^

i had some ideas for dalmo's (& louie's) piklopedia entries for these guys. Maybe this critter is some sort of mimic, just imagine what else it could possibly turn into." Louie:" first, cut off the roots and retrieve the pellet. Chop the body and eye to pieces, place in an oven for 5 minutes otherwhise it will be too hard for your teeth, afterwards, wash it with care. When you're done you'll have enough salad to last you a week." Bumbling bulborb: Dalmo: "it's almost like the bulborbs have been hunted for so long that they've developed ways to keep things away, what could have possibly caused these cuties to evolve in this way?" Louie: "spikes are inedible, remove them by removing its skin, put it in a dark place and observe where the glow comes from, then, cut into it and remove the source of the glow (usually one of its organs), aterwards, prepare and serve like a normal bulborb, best served stuffed like a turkey." Burrowing flukewhip: Dalmo: "this lil' thing's eye looks similar to the pellet poser, maybe these two are cousins from the same family, making diferent choices that ended up wth them where they are now." Louie: "main body is inedible, carve out the gem and cut the eye off, chop off tail and put it and the eye in a freezer for 12 hours, they will come out encased in ice, get a hammer or another blunt object and smash the blocks to bits, the main body makes for a nice bowl so you can use that to put the frozen bits in. After the ice melts, you'll be left with a tasty soup." Man of the hour: Dalmo: "such a large clock, unlike the one we found in this planet, this one seems to work! It's such a shame it's so aggresive, i just wish we could have taken this cutie along so we could know the time, all the time!" Louie: "inedible, almost tasteless but very time consuming."
Omg this video is sooooo good. As a fellow "Piktuber", lol, im happy people like you are making spectacular pikmin content.

Love how creative all these enemies are, also your art style is beautiful.
Thank you so much!!! :)
I came here for pikmin, but the pure quality was stunning. The art, transitions, text, memes, and also your voice were all amazing, and you also explained it all very well!
Thank you! That means a lot ☺️💕
Wow your editing style is amazing, didn't expect this quality from a fresh channel! I love all the design concepts and artwork as well. Keep up the amazing work
I agree I can't imagine how much Time he put into drawing all of this idea
It more editing than King of Skills videos.
The Man-of-the-Hour is an amazing boss design. It’s super creative and seems like a great and terrifying boss fight!
That would also synergize very well with the Pearly Clampclam aspect, since that's an enemy that heavily punishes trying to kill it too quickly!
Wow that's a super neat concept! I love it! Thanks for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts! :)
that Man of the Hour is beautiful, love how it's like Man at Legs, and the clock hands to show it's health is really awesome! you did a fantastic job on all of the enemy designs!
BREADMIN I CAN TELL THIS'LL BE A BANGER
YES i had to draw breadmin even if it was just for the vibe 😎
You had me at s l o o c h s n a i l.
@paracosmparty wow thanks, I really love your ideas as well. Especially the burrowing flukewhip. Keep up the good work.
THIS IS ACTUALLY SO COOL
More of a Pikmin 3 style of boss - that game was pretty different from the rest - but a good one.
Ok this Video was Phenomenal. the Ideas and art are literally the best I've seen in the Pikmin community, i LOVE your style and i LOVE your ideas. Keep it up. And welcome to the Pikmin RUclipsr Family. 💙💙💙
Wow thank you so much!! I love your content ☺️💖 I’ll happy join the Pikmin RUclipsr Family! Haha
@@paracosmparty Thankyou so much too! i was unaware you even knew of my stuff! thankyou!!
Its YOU!!
@@WigwamManI am your biggest fan😏😏😏
I LOVE your editing style and those pictures at the beginning were hilarious!
Thank you so much!! 💕💕
Congrats! Your the first comment!
When I first saw the thumbnail I was worried the pellet poser would would be a bit unfair and not well executed based purely on appearance, but I was pleasantly surprised. The slight delay and different interaction by the Pikmin made all the difference.
When I clicked on this video I expected some ideas with rough sketches, what I got was intricate designs and well thought out enemies, very cool!
Honestly you could make an entire series out of these.... I just love seeing all these new Pikmin enemy ideas.
YOURE ARTSTYLE????? THE MOST GORGEOUS IVE EVER SEEN OMG >>>
Thank you sooo much! & omg which tik tok is yours? I’d love to give credit in my description 💖
@@paracosmparty It’s the one at 1:29, I don’t really care about being credited it was just so surprising to see 😭 plus the @ is already there. Great video, really. The Man of the Hour was definitely my favorite lol.
WOW! THESE WERE AMAZING! Your concepts are so charming!!
Finally, pikmin art without blue pikmin suffering (amazing art btw :D)
I LITERALLY LOVE THE WAY YOU DRAW AND I LOVE THE CONCEPTS PLEASE DO MORE
I am in love with the Man o’ the Hour, the design is so weird in the best way possible and wonderfully unique, the mechanics are well thought out and the clock hands matching the health bar is genius, plus I love the name.
Oh my gosh, this is the best Pikmin fanart i've ever seen. Nice song choices too!
i love the... love shown for pikmin 3 here. it’s my favorite game and means everything to me ❤️❤️❤️ your rendering style is stunning!
Silly it’s for four
Pikmin enemies are at their best when they’re scary. It’s annoyed me for so long how 3 and 4 have moved away from that and made most enemies an inconvenience at worst. I LOVE traps in Pikmin games and these are absolutely perfect! Such an amazing video!!
Your art is absolutely stunning.
Thank you so much! I’m a big fan of your content!! 😁
raggins my father
Raggins?
How did you find that cute bulb orb? 😊
@@LuckyWolfUnleashed it's bulborb, although your auto correct probably made that
I love all these designs!
Thanks so much! 💕
I was shocked to see how few views there are here and how few subscribers you have, this was an insanely awesome video with some really cool creatures!!!
The video’s only been out 2 hours when you commented. The views have definitely skyrocketed since then.
They’re *blooming* with personality
Hope to see more stuff from you soon
Bumbling Bulborb would probably be my favorite overall since I've always wanted a "night species" bulborb that physically looked different (color, new ability, etc). Since it also has the inclusion of spikes, there's more uniquness that comes with it. Besides the other nice enemy concepts, the video strucutre, art, and music choices were top tier. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see more in the future.
Love these guys you created! This video in general just gives off a very cozy vibe that feels so nice and comforting to watch. Look forward to seeing what else you may make.
I’m glad to hear that, thank you!! ☺️✨
0:03 spikey testicle XD
Honestly I saw your video by chance in my RUclips feed saw the thumbnail and thought "Yo! That's really cool actually!" and man I am blown away by these concepts!! The way you draw and render and all that is absolutely phenomenal and a joy to watch! I will admit I was mostly just listening while checking the screen from time to time to see what you meant and had done but this was a brilliant art video to listen to while I also did art! You're getting me back in my Pikmin phase for sure, these enemies were all brilliant so well thought out, maybe they should hire you for the next Pikmin game
I also loved the "I know this boss is grueling but that makes me happy" we're gonna suffer BUT we're gonna have a good time about it :D
Liked commented and subscribed honestly!
@@magnatcleo2043 Makes sense
These were all such great, well thought-out concepts! I don't have much to say honestly other than that, but I did want to leave a comment to feed the algorithm because I think this video deserves to be seen by more people :)
these are so cool! absolutely love your art style!! what brushes do you use? :>
Thanks so much!! I use a brush pack by the Artist and RUclipsr Angrymikko called "Brushes for Painters" (for most of my work) Hope that helps!
@paracosmparty ooo thank you! I'm trying to learn digital painting more but none of the brushes I've tried so far have hit home haha, gonna check em out later!
This is definitely one of the most high quality pikmin videos I’ve seen in a while
1:29 WHAT 😭😭
The man of the hour is a fantastic name and design, and what makes it even better is it even looks like just another treasure to the player
13:39 as soon as he said “isss” I got a Hershey ad lol XD
holy shit these are so well thought-out and made. i hope some version of at least one of these concepts makes into pikmin 5 because they’re really cool. fantastic work ❤
The Man-of-the-Hour is an INSPIRED design!
I’ve always enjoyed the idea of an enemy that mimics something helpful.
Nintendo needs to hire this man right now
So well composed!!! You can tell you’re passionate about the game. You’re art work is nice as well!!!! I don’t even play Pikmin but I enjoyed every minute of this video! Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much!! 💕✨
Thank you!! 😄💕
Wow! Thank you so much for the kind words 💕💕 I really appreciate it! ☺️
Perhaps this is a bit too fantastic but the Man of the Hour gave me the idea for an enemy that has control over time, it’s attacks will cause portions of the day to go by in an instant but setting the watch back by attacking it can potentially give you more time in the day
his drawing art is cute and amazing
Pellet Poser was fantastic! I love the idea of turning some always safe into an enemy. Subbed
I love the concept of mimics in Pikmin so much, and I especially love your additions to those very ideas.
I literally couldn't stop smiling throughout your video, I loved every bit of it!!!
Thanks so much!! 💞 I too love puzzle type enemies 😌
I LOOOOOOVE THE MAN OF THE HOUR!!! It’s such a fun concept, and kinda scary looking!!! Really cool, great work!!!
Love the art as well as all the cool ideas for pikmin enemies! The idea of needing multiple types of pikmin to defeat an enemy is simple but really cool
the pikmin drawings you make are absolutely adorable as heck
These enemy designs are absolutely amazing. You have true skill and imagination.
Thank you!! 💖
This guy should actually be hired
These ideas are brilliant
Can I just say, your art style is AMAZING! As a huge pikmin fan, these genuinely look like they belong in the games.
Thanks so much! 💖
Whoa am I so glad I found this video! Your art style is incredible, your designs are i credible and your ideas are incredible. Absolutely loved every second of this!
Your knowledge, passion, and designs are phenomenal!
I like your well thought out and challenging enemies.
“I tried my best” this is the best. No contest.
I love your ideas! The pellet poser and bumbling bulborb are my favorites. You just earned a subscriber.
If you are interested, here are a couple enemy ideas of mine:
Gilded Wraith: A wraith that hides inside a golden oil lamp like the one the genie was in from Aladdin.
These enemies are all so plausible. I especially like the bumbling bulborb for offering a challenge to Oatchi's overpowered rush.
Wow, these enemies are well thought out. I think the boss is such a unique and cool concept.
This is amazing! It’s always amazing to see other the Pikmin community’s ideas. Not to mention the art! It’s awesome! Wish I had this kind of skill when making creature ideas.
If Man of the hour was a real boss it would most definitely be one of my favorites! Amazing job!
The nicknames you gave the enemies is hilarious
Holy moly these are some amazing concepts art can’t wait too see what other new enemy and bosses you cook up in the future
i had some ideas for dalmo's (& louie's) piklopedia entries for these guys. (no olimar entries though, i'm not as eloquent)
Pellet poser:
Dalmo:" this might look like a normal pellet posey, but make no mistake, one careless mistake and it will gobble up any of your unaware pikmin! Maybe this critter is some sort of mimic, just imagine what else it could possibly turn into."
Louie:" first, cut off the roots and retrieve the pellet. Chop the body and eye to pieces, place in an oven for 5 minutes otherwhise it will be too hard for your teeth, afterwards, wash it with care. When you're done you'll have enough salad to last you a week."
Bumbling bulborb:
Dalmo: "it's almost like the bulborbs have been hunted for so long that they've developed ways to keep things away, what could have possibly caused these cuties to evolve in this way?"
Louie: "spikes are inedible, remove them by removing its skin, put it in a dark place and observe where the glow comes from, then, cut into it and remove the source of the glow (usually one of its organs), aterwards, prepare and serve like a normal bulborb, best served stuffed like a turkey."
Burrowing flukewhip:
Dalmo: "this lil' thing's eye looks similar to the pellet poser, maybe these two are cousins from the same family, making diferent choices that ended up wth them where they are now."
Louie: "main body is inedible, carve out the gem and cut the eye off, chop off tail and put it and the eye in a freezer for 12 hours, they will come out encased in ice, get a hammer or another blunt object and smash the blocks to bits, the main body makes for a nice bowl so you can use that to put the frozen bits in. After the ice melts, you'll be left with a tasty soup."
Man of the hour:
Dalmo: "such a large clock, unlike the one we found in this planet, this one seems to work! It's such a shame it's so aggresive, i just wish we could have taken this cutie along so we could know the time, all the time!"
Louie: "inedible, almost tasteless but very time consuming."
Love the Pellet poser. Would love to see more videos like this. Maybe new pikmin or areas in the pikmin world
Omg this video is sooooo good. As a fellow "Piktuber", lol, im happy people like you are making spectacular pikmin content. Byw here's an idea: In Pikmin 1 the Pellet Posies are slightly transparent and you can look through them to see the number on the other side. Maybe the Pellet Posers have this property only seen in Pikmin 1, and it's sign they are fake?
Only 40 seconds in and you’ve earned a sub!
Also I LOVE the Man of the hour!
Thank you so much friend! 😄✨
The man of the hour is terrifying! It fits perfectly into a pikmin game. Awesome video! :D
I'm intrigued.
Also like how all of them are mimic enemies.
