Congrats! To all the Graduates! :)
Question: Does every student need to be vaccinated to enter the Barclay Center for their Ceremony?
I don't think that it matters at this point, especially since the CDC reported that the Unvaccinated and Vaccinated are now the same so is it fine to attend?
I hope so because I'm unvaccinated and planning on going to Grad. School and to this school specifically but I don't see any reason to be vaccinated or for it to be needed or necessary because the CDC reported basically that it doesn't matter and something about them making a mistake. Ya can look it up for yourselves to see.
I really hope that normalcy actually returns ASAP. It's a shame that I was unable to attend my last graduation for being unvaccinated but when I go there to pick up my hood to later take pics with family to later go out, I was allowed on campus anyways. However, I could have attended my graduation in Lehman College then but they didn't allow my family in, it was ONLY me which I found to be Unfair, So I left before the ceremony and many students were left out on this occasion as well because of not being vaccinated and we all worked very hard too, to get to this point which is a shame that restrictions are forcibly being placed and I really hope for more positive changes to allow students vaccinated or not to attend their own graduations, at least give them that.
Congratulations Saf, so proud of you
