God bless you Fr. Mike. You are a wonderful priest and really show us how we should be living as Christians. Your reminder of how we should be loving all of these people is terrific. I found it very hurtful and it made me cry for Jesus. It is about my Savior. I apologized to Jesus for these people. They know not what they do. But I would get very upset and cry (when I was alone of course) when my child was bullied, or when he was hurting. I feel so much hurt for my savior.
You can still denounce the sin though. I was gaslit on Facebook that Christian’s are to sit idly by, biting their tongues because “ Jesus ate with sinners”. That is not the point. I love lots of people that sin. I still denounce the sin itself.
Why so much reaction? It’s not the first time… Why others times nobody cares? I find all this pretty hypocrite. Where was people in art, film, cartoon and so on? So, do you cry everyday? That being said, the worst is to some « Christians » think they are allowed to choose to forgive or not. Obviously and strangly, many « Christian » don’t understand the goal of forgiveness and have forgotten the goal of a Christian.
After listening to Father Mike I find myself pitying the group of people that put together that performance. They are really missing out on something so beautiful. Mockery is such an angry action and brings no reward. We should pray for them.
Your wisdom, insight and guidance are needed, always. Thank you for helping me realize that anger, which was my first reaction, was not the best reaction. Now I am praying.
I was a bit angry, but I also saw that they don't really understand what they're doing. How does one's sexual kinks really make one a unity with others? How does it make for a family or a life? I think, once it becomes mainstream, it loses its power to really unite those it did. The homosexual and the transgender have very little in common. So I'm not mad with them. I'm sorry they wasted their time with this. It has made their lives poorer. But I am angered by their cowardice and for making a non-apology apology.
There is an old Irish saying;" What else can you expect from a pig other than an oink." You know what they will do and say before they say it. Nothing surprises me anymore.
I watched the Opening Ceremonies live….when the Last Supper was shown…my jaw literally just dropped…I had a moment to think then I felt disgusted, disappointed, outraged and just so hurt. I’ve always loved watching the Olympics and this year it just didn’t feel right. Thank you so much for posting this. Praise Jesus🙏🏼🥰‼️
Thank you for giving me a better understanding of how to respond to this blasphemy. It isn't about me and my dismay. It is about my loving Jesus even more.
Thank you Fr. Mike for this video. I'm not offended either, cause I'm no surprised, it's the French. They committed mass murder with the Guillotine during the French Revolution. I'm baptized Anglican Church of England living in USA since 1957 2 years old. Four years ago because of my house being condemned do to bad condition I wound up homeless for 6 months. With Gods help and blessings I was blessed to get into senior section eight housing complex. I've lived here almost 4 years now. Amazing thing is, I'm back in the old neighborhood. We lived here till 1966. One block away from my building is St. Peters Catholic Church. One Sunday I was walking by the Church to go to supermarket. I saw on the sign outside English service at 10:30am. My watch said that time, so I started to walk off. God came to me and said, I want you to go in, so I did. The service had already started, so I sat in back. I felt this amazing feeling of love, peace and warmth. God guided me to keep on going there. Third time I asked the cantor what is Fathers name, the head priest. She told me Fr. Dona, I was confused then she said. Fr. Donald. That's my Dads name, I knew then I was in the right place. Fr. Donald invited me to join the Bible study, and we meet every other Thursday. One day Fr. Stephen asked me, had God guided you to get baptized Catholic. I told him sorry father but, I'm Anglican, as my Parents wanted. They are no longer with me but, I remember them everyday. One day Fr. Donald sat with us at Bible study in St. Petters school. I told him about how I came to St. Petters because of Gods guidance. Also what Fr. Stephens asked me. So amazing father said, were you Baptized with the Holy Spirit? I said yes, then he said, one Baptism per customer. The Catholic Bishop of Ireland and England, given permission for Anglicans to do the Catholic service. We just can't do the Eucharist, so I cross my arms to get the blessing from the priest. Every Sunday I feel like I am rejuvenated with Gods blessings for the rest of the week. They can mock Gods Son Jesus but, they can't take away my faith in God!

From the very first time I heard about what happened, I was offended but it was because it was such a horrible act against God whom I love. I thought of the Sacred Heart of Jesus burning with love for us and this is how he was treated. How interesting that it was precisely the Basilica of the Sacred Heart that was lit up when the power went out in Paris. It was as if Jesus was reminding us of his burning love for us.
And that is a pure and noble reaction.
You can still denounce the sin though. I was gaslit on Facebook that Christian’s are to sit idly by, biting their tongues because “ Jesus ate with sinners”. That is not the point. I love lots of people that sin. I still denounce the sin itself.
Matthew 7:22 and also Matthew 7:3-5 Do catholics refuse the Gospel of Matthew? Sure seems like it. :( I wish you much discernment and peace.

@@mrnaizguy If so? The scene still depicts the "Feast of the God's"?
No amount of subjective interpretation is gonna change this fact...
@@GioBruno2006 "Feast of the Gods" has a similar composition to "The Last Supper" *today* because at some time, possibly over 200 years ago, somebody cut off a large portion of the left side, changing it from a composition symmetrical around the cherubs in the sky in typical Baroque fashion, to a composition symmetrical around the Greek [EDIT: i.e. Olympian] god of light, Apollo.
@@GioBruno2006 I think it's correct to say that both were the inspiration for the ceremony scene- but not for the reason you think. As the most widely-seen artistic events in the world, Olympic ceremonies have in the social media era been the victims of cruel misinformation. A notable example was the claim in 2020 that a scene in the London 2012 opening ceremony (for which the screenwriter was Frank Cottrell-Boyce, a lifelong Roman Catholic who even assisted the late Pope Benedict on his visit to England) was "predictive programming" for the allegedly pre-planned pandemic.
Using the "Feast of the Gods" painting as the basis for the tableau can be seen as a retaliatory joke at the expense of the misinformation peddlers.
Speaking to St. Margaret Mary he said that for his love he received “...nothing but ingratitude by reason of their irreverence and sacrileges, and by the coldness and contempt which they show me in this Sacrament of love.” Jesus asked for reparations to his Sacred Heart.
