She's a beautiful God loving woman who has been battling cancer for the past few years. *** She got the all clear the other day. I learned the same Prayer, also, in Elementary school!😇 I've said it many, many times, during my (long) life, and have felt "Her" 😇 Presence like a soft breeze, as she is helping, and protecting me! 😇🙏 Amen
For several years when I was quite small, I couldn't fall asleep without someone saying that prayer with me before bed. I then basically forgot it until a few years back, where I heard the words in my head in a clear memory of my mom reciting the prayer with me as a child. I'm trying to get in the habit of saying it once more.
A good friend's mother once told me, long ago, that if you're having difficulties with someone, you ask your guardian angel to talk to theirs, to help resolve the problem and bring graces and peace to the situation.
As an alcoholic, I'm sure that my guardian angel was paid hazard pay for looking after me during those years of insanity. In all seriousness, I'm sure he looked out for me in ways that I may never know, but I'm sure he helped to guide me in finding sobriety.
I got run over when I was 2. My neighbour was reversing in her driveway and backed over me. I saw my guardian angel. Still to the day I have a memory of being under the car and seeing her. I still feel the warmth and safety she gave me. Mum took me to hospital and despite bumps, some gashes and scratches I had no broken bones no serious injuries and no scars from it. I believe that my guardian angel has saved me time and time again.. but that one I remember clear as day even now at 36years old. Amen!
I had a head on car crash 40 years ago as someone slid in my lane in a truck on ice. Just before the impact I heard a soft voice in my eight ear."You are going to be alright!" I had a broken nose,, wrist and right arm as well as bruised knees but surived. The car was totaled. Yes, I believe in Guardian Angels .
I'm also a firefighter and I always listen to that little voice in my head or gut feeling when in an immediate situation where I have to act and I've never regretted it. I'm very grateful for it and try to be as open as possible to it.
I have been blown up multiple time in Iraq and Afghanistan, not a scratch on me. When I came home, I blamed God for the horrors I saw and "wrestled" with him. I started getting randomly injured, like a bone just dying in my wrist as I "wrestled with God " and his divinity.

you might think I'm crazy but often when I am at Mass I have a sense/feeling that my guardian Angel is standing behind me, his presence like behind me around my shoulders. One Sunday when I was particularly down and discouraged I felt this presence tell me " take strength, you are greatly loved"...it nearly made me weep and it was just what I needed to hear.
You are beautiful. I've had those kind of experiences in my life and I've been told I'm psychotic. It hurts big time! I'm beyond that now, but it's been the case for 40 years.

When I was five years old I stopped in my tracks when I spotted an angel sitting on the branches of a tree in my grandparents’ backyard (If I were to attempt that, the branches would brake and I would go crashing to the ground!). I saw him by his profile, he didn’t see me. He had one hand on his chin as if pondering something. He was breathtakingly beautiful, his peaches and cream skin was more perfect than porcelain, his blond hair was like gold, curly and shiny. He wore a long white robe, was barefoot and his wings were enourmous. I quietly observed him in awe for about a minute then ran to get my grandmother. When we got there he was gone. Praise The Lord for blessing me with this heavenly vision, a precious moment I will never forget!

Many years ago as a silly young woman, I was very drunk. I fell asleep in front of an electric fire, with my heard on a cushion from the couch. I was alone in the house. At some point, I recall being, literally, shaken awake, and someone shouting: "Wake up!" in my ear. As I came to, I saw the cushion I had my head on, smouldering and about to catch fire. The smoke was toxic and noxious. I would have either burned to death or died of inhalation of smoke, for sure. I was out cold. I know that was my Guardian Angel, saving me.

Same thing with me!! I wasn't drunk,but a young teen. The fan was in the window and the curtain got caught in the fan and caused a fire. My guardian angel woke me!! Praise God! My bed was right next to the blazing window.
I had a guardian angel experience once: it was the early 90's the day after Thanksgiving. I was out and about on foot (no car at the time) doing stuff. I was waiting to cross the street and was starring at the stoplight watching it as it changed from Green to yellow to red. I put my foot out to step into the street when a voice (I'd never heard this voice before, it wasnt mine!) inside my mind said: "You always look before crossing the street. You should look now". Then the foot that i had extended and was about to plant onto the street with pulled back all on its own! I turned my head to look and a car ran the red light probably going 50mph in a 25mph speed zone! Had i put my foot down that car would hit me killing me instantly! True story. I believe they exist.

Wow! It felt like I was reading my own story - I had it almost the same but instead of a car there was an Ikarus bus approaching the bus stop that was just round the road bend. I did not hear a voice but instead was frozen in shock, my brain processing the image, calculating the remaining distance and telling me detachedly that in a matter of seconds both my feet would be run over and my body would not cooperate with what the brain was signaling. I just remember thinking in frozen shock - I gotta step back! Someone grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me back onto the pavement. That’s when I shook off the stupor and turned round to see and thank my saviour. His face strangely did not register though he was right behind me. I only remember that he was wearing an ankle long black trench coat (a lot like The Matrix style, seriously!). He waved off my shocked ‘thank you!’ and stepped down to cross the road. I am a fast walker and manage to out-walk even men thanks to my dad always dragging me everywhere in my childhood. The thing is - I breezed past all the people who were waiting at the traffic light and he was just one step ahead and continuously accelerating (I was meaning to catch him and thank him properly) and by the time the crowd dispersed, so did he - he was nowhere to be seen! And the road was a straight line, so he couldn’t have dodged somewhere round the corner. Needless to say, I was shaken twice that day.
@@oldtymer9106 later in life I changed my profession and became an ESL instructor, and as this is technically the same as being a teacher, it naturally involves being on your feet a lot, both in a classroom and the teachers’ room. My current occupation brings me great joy - seeing learners progress in my classes, be they kids or adults, is a precious experience. I couldn’t have been all of that if I hadn’t been saved that day (not to mention the fact that I escaped the very possible scenario of being severely disabled at a very young age. Or dead.) ps. your story is a wonder and it did remind me again that we have to be humble and thankful in life.
When my little boy died I had been sitting in a chair in the ICU while doctors tried to revive him. As I prayed and cried I felt someone walk up next to me and put their left hand on my right shoulder. I thought it was a member of the medical team trying to comfort me. After quite awhile this "person" stepped forward and I could see him. He was in a long white robe, he took several steps and then disappeared.

Father Mike, I’d love to know your take on this. Years ago, my mother’s cat bit me on the hand. I washed it off in the sink, put peroxide on it, and went about my day. That night as I was sleeping, my arm was throbbing. When I woke up in the morning, it was locked in an L shape. I got a shower with one hand, I put on my jeans and zipped up with one hand, which is not easy. I went to my weekend job, which was cat adoptions through a shelter but at a local pet store. The first thing I would do was clean the cages. A very old man showed up in a polo shirt with the animal shelter logo on it. I had never seen that type of shirt before. He also wore a name tag from the shelter. We didn’t have name tags. I said hello and asked him why he was there - I never had anyone help me before. He told me he was sent there to help me. I told him that he could play with the cats and keep them occupied while I clean the cages. He said, no, he would do what I was doing and clean the cages. Well, I wasn’t about to let anyone do my dirty work. I told him I was going to clean the cages. He raised his voice slightly but firmly, and he again said he was sent there to help me. if it was a woman of any age, I would not have backed down. If it was a man around my age, I would not have backed down. But being that it was an older man, I did not want to offend him. I stood up from the bottom cage I was about to clean, and I let him clean the cages. When he was finished, he left. The employees of the store asked who he was because they had never seen anyone else there before. I said he must’ve been a volunteer from the shelter. It turned out that I had acute sepsis and was hospitalized a few hours later. I was there for over a week. A doctor came in and questioned me thoroughly. I think he wanted to make sure the cat didn’t have rabies. I told him everything that happened. He told me that if I had cleaned the cages myself, my blood would’ve started pumping faster, and the overall outcome might not have been as favorable. I had to contact my manager at the shelter to call off for the next weekend. I asked her who the man was that she sent out to help me. She said she didn’t send anyone. I think he was an angel.
When I was 18 I was driving drunk and high on marijuana. I was completely blacked out and couldn’t even remember the drive. I was basically driving without being conscious. Suddenly I came to my senses when I was driving towards a massive steel gate with 50 mph. I instantaneously dodged to the right and crashed through a small fence with my car on the side and slided 50 meters onto the property. I only got a little scratch in my finger and no serious injury at all. Had I come to my senses half a second later I might be dead or disabled for life. I wasn’t Christian at that time and thought I just got lucky. Now I know it was the lord and his angels who saved me. Praise the lord.

This is a true story and I know it because I had an Angel sent by the Queen of Heaven save my life in a similar way, only someone else was driving and I was in the passenger seat. Basically he was about to hit a house, but when the tires reached the lawn they stuck in the dirt, the car spun out and only the back end of the car hit the house. God bless you 🙏💜
I'd lost my whole bunch of keys somewhere in the house. I knew I'd locked up the night before and brought them up with me as usual. My son and I searched for three days without success. Finally sitting on the side of my bed as I resigned to having them all cut at great cost I started to walk out of my bedroom when I heard a loud voice say "Look in your shoe". I felt a light touch on my shoulder turning me around very gently leading me towards a pair of ankle boots - and I saw the glimmer of metal peeking from deep in my boot, and there was my bunch of keys! I was so astounded and bowed down in prayer of thanks. Still can't get over the voice and being guided so gently. I know for a fact that we are not alone. Thanks be to God.🙏🙏🙏
Guardian Angel saved my life when i was, stupidly, tried to climb a mountain, and got stuck 3 times in a spot for like 40 minutes at a time, and last time i could not see way out, only was to let fall. I was not practising believer back then, but i prayed to God and i heard voice look to then right, and i found way out of the situation. When i god back down i was totaly sure i got new life. Praise be to God! And thank you my Angel Guardian!
I’m currently in RCIA and I was told that during the week when we do good deeds/sacrifice’s our guardian angels place them in vessels and when we are at Mass they carry them to the altar for us. How beautiful is that

When I was little, I was standing at the top of the staircase in my parents' house by myself (my parents were ordinarily very vigilant but for some reason this time they were doing something else). I was too young to be able to walk down the stairs by myself, but I started to, and I distinctly remember my feet lifting slightly off the ground and I slowly glided down the stairs, then touched down softly at the bottom of the landing. I ran and told my mom, who said, "It must have been your guardian angel." That's exactly what it felt like, as if an angel had lifted me up and gently carried me down the stairs so I wouldn't fall and injure myself. I still think about this often and have recounted the story to many friends and family over the years.
Has anyone ever had an angel appear to them in human form to warn them of imminent danger, then disappear? I had this happen to me once. I have also "heard" a warning to "hang on to it" as I drove in the rain and began to spin in an intersection/on-ramp. My car spun around and ended up backed up to the on-ramp....and I missed every car in the intersection. I know my Guardian Angel has saved my life many times!
Wow, I just completed day 4 of my Padre Pio novena, and it talked about calling on your guardian angels. I know nothing about guardian angels and made a mental note to learn about them. Then I did a Bible lesson and opened my RUclips feed to find you, Father Mike, at the top of my feed, discussing them! Wow. God does indeed work in mysterious ways. :)
After 70 years and 47 years that I had left the church, I'm sure that my guardian angel is enjoying semi-retirement. He has protected me so many times! Now that I'm back in the flock, I pray that he is happy. I❤ my Guardian angel.

I was rushed into the operating room to have a c-section when my daughter was born. There was an older man in a brown suit, and he was holding my left hand... This was in the operating room. The man told me, "everything is going to be okay"... I asked my husband, afterwards, if he saw the man in the brown suit, and he told me the man was never there.
The night my Mama died I was laying next to her, like she had asked, with my baby on my chest. I was so afraid to go to sleep. I thought if I stayed awake somehow it would stop her from dying. I know it seems irrational, but, I was desperate to keep her. She told me she l9ved me and "I'd done well, the baby is beautiful". I laid there praying and crying silently. I felt my Guardian Angels "hand" touch me on the forhead and pass, down, over my eyes. I was instantly deeply asleep. My, now ex-husband woke me up, trying to pick me up. He'd already taken the baby out of the room. Which was amazing that that didn't awaken me. I whispered, harshly, for him to let me be, before he woke her up. But, she had passed. She must have gone as soon as my eyes closed. When he woke me up I still tears on my cheeks. I beleave that she held on until I fell asleep and my Guardian Angel helped me fall asleep, so she could go on peacefully. I thank God for Angel and the compassion of not letting me see her leave us.
i believe our loved ones sometimes hang on as a favor to us, out of love, when they really want to move on. Death is so personal. I hope i'm not overstepping but falling asleep was a true blessing. It sounds as if your mother was a good person.

When I was in an accident I heard a calm voice say "You're going to be all right." I initially thought it was Jesus because of the intense intense feeling of Peace I experienced but it could also have been my Guardian Angel protecting me. Then I heard "Forgive him."
Once I was a passenger in a car and was very worried about the situation and I heard a voice too "everything/you are going to be alright". I still remember exactly where it was on the road etc and it's been years ago. It was sooo comforting. ❤

yeah same. sometimes when i pray the chaplet i feel something is watching me but i always think that i am praying the prayer for the angels of God so who can touch me? if there's a devil watching me pray they cant touch me like i feel this strange feeling that there's an angel at my back protecting me while i pray. i dont know if you feel the same.

Archangel Michael is my patron saint and I pray the st. Michael chaplet daily without fail. I do intend however on asking for my guardian angel's help more often, cause I'm not aquatinted with the angel. Though I do feel protected and guided.
Many years ago I was driving back from a catechists' conference. It had snowed the night before, and the roads were down to the blacktop, but for whole long stretches of highway, the breakdown lane had not yet been cleared. The landscape looked beautiful, though, and the roads were fine to drive on. So I'm humming along, just driving home, when a strung gust of wind came up ro meet the front of the car, and suddenly WHAM! the latch failed and my hood was blown up against the windshield with a lot of force. Incredibly it didn't crack the glass, But it made a very loud noise, and blacked out my whole front view except for a small triangular sliver along the bottom where one of the hood's two hinges had wrenched right off the car. Afterwards my mother asked me, "did you scream? Did you cry?" And I stopped and realized, no....there was no time. I just had to focus and try not to die! Fortunately I wasnt speeding or anything and I wasn't in rush traffic, but there were cars around me and I could barely see, And as I said, the breakdown lane was still covered in a long line of plowed snow, so I had no choice but to keep driving , hoping to find a place where it was clear. I didnt have a cell phone with me (this was years ago) but I hoped I could get the hood back down and safely get home somehow. So, I drove slowly with my white knuckles, praying .....and when there was finally a short span of road with a plowed breakdown lane, I pulled over.... there was already a car there, all white, and immediately a man hopped out like he was waiting for me. I felt immediate relief when I looked into his face, and only realized afterwards that, although they were different races, he looked almost exactly like one of my best childhood friends. I think this unconsciously made me trust him. I also only realized when I got home and was telling my family, that every scrap of clothing he was wearing was spotless white, no smudges or stains or anything, and even his sneakers were clean and white...the poofy-looking kind that were popular in the mid 2000s, that looked like little clouds stitched into shoes. They were also spotless. He said, "what you are doing is berry, berry dangerous" with an accent, and he wrenched the hood over and back down....then he went to his car and came back with a long white strip of some kind of cottony cloth that he used to tie it down. (When I got home, and my husband temporarily replaced it with wire until we could have it looked at, he handed the fabric to me, and I realized it smelled amazing, like the best perfume ever) Then he told me to drive straight home, and he followed me until I was leaving the highway and almost in my neighborhood... when he took a turn and drove in another direction. I was disappointed to not have the chance to thank him or buy him a coffee or anything! I pulled into my driveway. Only when my husband was hugging me tight did I start crying from how scary and stressful it had been. The hood looked terrible, but I was home, and not a scratch on me. We were telling a good friend a few days later, and he said, "obviously that was an angel!"
My daughter was sitting on the dining room chair when she was 4. She then decided to stand up on the chair abruptly and it fell backwards. Surprisingly while the chair fell backwards, she did not get hurt at all. It almost looked like she was temporarily lifted while the chair was going down. We all got a huge fright of course. At that same time, we looked at each other and instantly felt the presence of an angel in our midst - my daughter’s guardian angel. Praise the Lord for sending us our guardian angels.

I'm an almost 69 year old woman who was raised Catholic, got away from the faith but have come back. You are a wonderful messenger. I was raised in the guilt and punishment way of thinking but you bring out the love aspect by being so positive and loving yourself. Priests and nuns were mostly scary when I was a kid! I feel my guardian is happiest when I attend mass. Pray for me to go more than Sunday. I fell into weeks of only Sun. Mass, but back to Weekdays. My guardian must rejoice as soon as I park and head in . To be with our Lord on the cross is priceless.
I had an experience in high school where I had to defend myself from an enormous kid who was literally close to three times my bodyweight. At the start of the scuffle, i got my shoulder under his center of gravity and just barely started to tense my legs up to throw him over. Not only did he go off his feet and onto his back, but it felt to me completely effortless, and it even felt like his body accelerated faster than my shoulder, as if someone or something had lifted him off my shoulder, and when he landed, his face was white, and the look on his face was one of that total terror a person gets when they've experienced something that just isn't supposed to exist in this world, like a ghost, or an alien, or something. And not only did he never mess with me again, but as a chronic bully to that point, he never messed with anyone again and became quite the decent gentleman. I've always wondered if an angel had thrown him off his feet, and he either saw the angel or otherwise knew it.
My guardian angel has saved me so many times I cannot count. I have called him my "knowing" for years as at times I just know when something is wrong. I might know suddenly to change lanes when driving and within seconds see how it saved my life. Once I fell off a cliff on ice....someone wrapped me in their arms, pulled my head down towards my chest as I rolled and when I stopped....no imprint in the snow. Nothing. I never touched the ground. I was fine. I stood up and yelled, 'WHO are you? Who did that just now....I know you're here!!!" We all have these wonderful gentle angels. Thank them everyday for their help in our lives.
I always pray "Guardian Angel chaplet" before traveling and i can tell you its very efficacious; a mystic told that if everyone ask and pray for the protection from their guardian angel, the accident rate will be decreased. Let's take a moment to thank our Guardian Angels and our Almighty God the Father who generously gave each and everyone of us an angel to be our protector and helper.
I had slept in and my family had left to go to a function that I wasn't attending. On the way one of them heard a voice tell them to turn back because I was very sick. If they hadn't listened to the voice, I wouldn't be here today.
Amazing how God works… I was just advised a couple days ago to begin a devotion to my guardian angel, to aid me in some struggles. This video was posted the same day! I’ve never thought about asking my guardian angel to intercede, yet here are now 2 signs that I am being called to do so!

I truly believe in guardian angels. I was driving on the freeway and this car came from another lane and hit me. My car spun around in circles several times and I finally stopped facing the oncoming traffic without anybody hitting me. The person behind me backed up so I could turn around and get to the far right lane. At that moment, I knew I had a guardian angel who had protected me.

I’d like to thank my angel. Yesterday I was driving, it was dark and snowing. Limited visibility. Suddenly,I saw myself (in my head) hit someone with my car on the right. It felt so real I became scared. Drove super vigilantly. A few minutes later a man, almost invisible in the dark, crossed the street in a very slow manner with sacs of grocery dragging him down. I managed to break and not hit him but it was super close!
All my life, I've had my "little voice" (as I call it). Everytime I've ignored that voice, I've ended up in trouble of one form or another - always. But whenever I've followed it, even when the decision seemed ridiculous or doomed to fail, things always came good - and usually, far better than I ever expected. It isn't my conscience speaking, some might call it "gut feel" but for me it isn't an instinct, it's like a voice, a whisper...... welcome to my guardian angel folks, and yours! ➕
Many years ago my girl friend, now wife of 65 years , was rescued from drowning in heavy surf by a man who just disappeared immediately after she was ashore. I was on the beach, not aware of her danger.
I truly believe angels exist because I personally have had three different experiences in my lifetime that through the charity of a stranger, comfort from a stranger and a wise word from a older child kept me from possibility of death. I was only a child then.
Very true about not naming the angel. I used to be into new age spirituality and I went looking for my angel’s name and found it to later understand that what was communicating that to me probably wasn’t a good spirit and I was being lead astray, away from God when I thought I was doing the opposite. Never look for their names, just refer to them as God’s angels, guardian angels. Bless you all, may these good beings of light be with us and bring us closer to God each day.
I have experienced it, was on the bike with my daughter(4yrs old), had to stop the bike to give way to a car, it was and abrupt stop so had to put my feet down to balance the bike , but there was a small pot hole and could not touch my leg to the ground. In fraction of seconds I realised that I am going to fall . I just said “oh God” ……. And my bike balanced without touching my feet to the ground. I instantly knew there were angles standing on either sides.
Claire… if you or anyone else could offer any insight on this, I’d be very grateful. How can our guardian angels hear our silent prayers as only God (the Holy Trinity) is omniscient. Do you speak out loud to your Angel then? Demons being fallen angels are the same as our guardian angels-they cannot read our minds. This is really the only part about our beautiful Catholic faith that trips me up….the praying to angels and saints when I know they cannot read my thoughts.
@@jennifermanzano2400I think they can if you want them to, so if you think that you want your guardian angel to know something then God will make it known to them but ordinarily they cannot read your thoughts.
@@jennifermanzano2400I say prayers to my guardian angel out loud. I was told was I was very little that they could read our minds and we have to talk to them out loud.
A few things I started doing. 1. Pray more often to my Guardian Angel. 2. Ask him to bring my petition to Our Lord and Our Lady. 3. Ask him to illumine my mind and to give me good mental images. 4. Ask him to remind me of or remember important things, people, dates, and times. 5. Ask him to protect me while I sleep (even though I don't ask every night because I know he already does that). 6. And to thank him! And I do most, if not all, of this silently in my mind as I don't want to say them out loud and give any ammunition to the enemy they can use to tempt me or try to mess with me.

For most of us it may take many years to be aware of how our guardian angel protects and often guides us! I don't have enough fingers to count the times that my angel has protected me.

As I got a bit older I got a bit wiser and as I got a bit wiser I realized I was more thankful for the things that might have happened to me but didn't than I was for the blessings I was granted. To say it's a miracle I'm still around may be a stretch, but not by a lot. I am sure there are people I have hurt and I didn't realize it then or now but that will be revealed to me at the proper time. For now I simply want to thank God for the greatest Guardian Angel anyone could ever ask for. Each time I go to Mass I think of how happy my Guardian Angel is to be there, close to God in His home. And I am so very sorry for all the years I kept him away from that place. But somehow, knowing my Guardian Angel as I do, I think he's forgiven me. Thank you my Guardian Angel. I can't wait to meet you face-to-face.

I’m so thankful I found and watched this video. I feel as though when I was younger I was aware that I had a guardian angel, but it’s been decades since I’ve acknowledged my guardian angel. I don’t know if mine stuck around, but after watching I apologized for all the wrong things I’ve done and thanked him for all the good things he’s done for me. I also asked him to tell the Lord “thank you” for all of my blessings. Just started learning to pray the rosary, and I’m grateful for all of the RUclips content that’s been popping up. I got a message of Spirit at Mass several years ago that I was to work for the Archangels. I don't know why I was enlightened, but I'm prepared to be called. I recently obtained a Archangel Michael Scapular and wear it. It seemed the right thing to do as I'm retired military (Bosnia, Afghanistan, Iraq). God has protected me in the past, and has given me great opportunities in this life. Now I stand ready to give back, I know when the time comes I will be given another sign.

When I lived in NJ I was a Eucharistic minister, but I only went to nursing homes. I got a call from church asking me if I could go to a persons house to give communion. The lady really wanted communion. So I went. She could only take a small piece of the host she was so weak, laying on the couch. When we got done prayer I leaned over her to hug her and I thought she said “ you are an angel” I replied “ no no, it’s just me Sue from St Luke’s “ she said “ no, I see your angel” she died the next day. I am pretty sure she saw an angel and it sure made me a believer.
Sometimes when my husband and I say the Rosary or I'm praying in my own, I can experience the most beautiful, unexplainable fragrance. I can't tie it down. It comes and goes in gentle wafts. My husband can't smell it, but he can't smell roses, or daphne, or friesas, or philadelphus etc. We jokingly say it's our guardian angels being pleased we are pleasing God, and there pleasure emanates as the most heavenly scent/fragrance ive ever smelt, and it's different every time. I call it the fragrance of heaven.
I am a 70 year old woman who has a loving family, friends and lots of blessings. It wasn't always that way. As a 15 year old in the late 1960's I had thought very seriously of ending my life by jumping off an extremely high bridge (about the length of four football fields down). I attended Catholic schools for 12 years but had a mother who abused me verbally, physically, and emotionally. I NEVER heard the word love from her. Needless to say, I had zero self confidence, zits, and hated myself. I walked the bridge one day just to get comfortable with the surroundings. The next day I walked it again and paused to look over the railing. From out of nowhere I heard a voice, no one was around, saying to me, "It will get better!" That was my guardian angel talking. I can't even say if the voice was male or female. But somehow the sound was so trusting and gentle and gave me faith to just keep walking. Looking back over the years, my guardian angel was there when I didn't even realize it. Thanks Father Mike for helping me communicate with my guardian angel again!
At Mass on Pentecost one year. I had inner sense of the Angels coming down to the Altar at the Consecration...I was overwhelmed with inner vision. Ever since I cry at the reception of Jesus. Our Beloved Brother. Our God. ❤ So holy.. so loving of a God. ❤❤❤
April 2012, I had lost track of time and was late to babysit our two year old granddaughter. For the previous Christmas, we had given our son-in-law a gift certificate to J Gilberts in Glastenbury (along with a promise to babysit our grandaughter). We were traveling on route 691 about to get on the route 91 north entrance ramp at hi rate of speed to make up some time. As I approached the ramp (which is partially blind ramp during to a half height cement wall) I received a telepathic message from my guardian Angel. "Joe there is danger ahead, slow down NOW! ". I knew my wife probably didn't hear the message because even though the part of my brain that processes speach did it's part, as odd as it sounds I had no actual hearing sensation (as odd as that was). She confirmed she heard no warning. I immediately slowed way down right before entering the on ramp. I came upon a car that had broken down and was in the middle of the ramp. I was able to safely get around the car (and two people who were standing off to the side of the ramp) but if I had continued at the high rate of speed I was going before my warning, I would have either collided with the car or the pedestrians standing near their car. Thank you God for my Guardian Angel and her warning.
I believe I have a guardian angel. I was in a motorcycle accident in 1990 and and when I was laying on the ground with a broken femur. The EMT said to expect the worse pain ever as they had to pull the leg apart. I asked for a second to pray and when the pulled the leg apart I felt nothing. I am not Catholic but I know God or and Angel was watching over me. The reason I am still a Christian to this day. Take care and God bless
A few days ago I was waiting to cross the road at a crowded place. Suddenly and for no reason at all, I took a step back - it was not a natural thing to do in the circumstances (I was standing just outside a store so I was backing into the store). Barely seconds later, two guys pushing a huge cart of heavy goods (facing backwards and going at speed, so they weren’t looking where they were going, nor had I seen them coming) passed by, missing me by inches. I knew it was my guardian angel because moments before that I had bought a book about ultra-short prayers, and one of the prayers was “Lord, defend me.” I was mulling over what I could possible ask God to defend me against. I was thinking along the lines of laziness or shopping addiction ... well it turned out to be two guys pushing a huge cart of goods! This is not the first time my guardian angel has made his presence known to me.
I rode big motorcycles for over 20 years. There were more than several instances where I was spared crashing and being killed in close calls. No other explanation for these divine interventions, saving me from death and destruction. I’ve always felt the presence of a Guardian Angel.

I honestly don’t know why I’ve never thought of Guardian Angels. I’m struggling with a returning sin and I feel I’ve stumbled upon this video at the right to time. Now to research how to further my relationship with my Guardian Angel to help me in this battle. Thanks for the video.
Around 2 years ago I became acutely aware of how I had neglected my guardian angel. I was recalling the many times I was miraculously spared serious harm and even death in my 55 years. It was too many to count! I immediately thanked God for the angel appointed to me and now make a habit of expressing my gratitude for him everyday. (I think the prayer we learn in childhood "Angel of God, my guardian dear...." doesn't survive into adulthood. That's a shame.)
I always look on life all my relative and friends that have gone up in heaven all trying to I think they are the angels especially my mum and dad and my beautiful boyfriend who he was one in a million very strong all of them were❤
People who have died don’t become angels because angels were created by God as spirits. People who have died are either saints (the Church Triumphant) or people in Purgatory (the Church Suffering) who will eventually become saints. Since we’re still alive, we (the Church Militant) still have control of our actions. These three groups are part of the Communion of Saints - totally different from angels.

Father Mike I love your love for guardian angels! I have caught a guardian angel in the street a few times and we have looked each other directly in the eyes and connected but in a moment spoken to each other with our eyes to say we must not acknowledge each other. Our souls smile at each other as we agree to pass by and I should not interfere with their duties. It is very special and beautiful and it lifts my soul up to know that they are there.
On at least 3 occasions, my Angel spoke to me. Twice to advise me of problems with my son and once to share a death that had just happened. I’ve spoken to a few people about it, including two pastors, who sort of ignored me so I only share those incidents anonymously.
As a newly confirmed Catholic, Fr Mike has filled my need for more knowledge. Guardian Angels haven't been in my thoughts or prayers. I feel bad that in my 59 years, I have never thanked or recognized the hard work my angel has done for me. God loves us so much that he has given us this gift and I thank him for allowing angels to help keep my family safe. I won't forget to be more thankful and be more aware of my angel and listen to what they are telling me.
For anyone who sees this could you pray for Bridget from Ireland. She's my mother. She's a beautiful God loving woman who has been battling cancer for the past few years.

My mom taught me that as a toddler. We prayed it at night before we prayed for all my siblings and extended family.
Yup, me too and pray it most days. That prayer says it all. To light, to guard, rule (warn) and to guide.
For several years when I was quite small, I couldn't fall asleep without someone saying that prayer with me before bed.
I then basically forgot it until a few years back, where I heard the words in my head in a clear memory of my mom reciting the prayer with me as a child. I'm trying to get in the habit of saying it once more.
I pray that one every night in bed. My mother used to have us praying it and many more on our way to be collected by the school bus.
A good friend's mother once told me, long ago, that if you're having difficulties with someone, you ask your guardian angel to talk to theirs, to help resolve the problem and bring graces and peace to the situation.

There used to be a saying about angels protecting drunks and children.
I got run over when I was 2. My neighbour was reversing in her driveway and backed over me. I saw my guardian angel. Still to the day I have a memory of being under the car and seeing her. I still feel the warmth and safety she gave me. Mum took me to hospital and despite bumps, some gashes and scratches I had no broken bones no serious injuries and no scars from it.
I believe that my guardian angel has saved me time and time again.. but that one I remember clear as day even now at 36years old.

I had a head on car crash 40 years ago as someone slid in my lane in a truck on ice. Just before the impact I heard a soft voice in my eight ear."You are going to be alright!" I had a broken nose,, wrist and right arm as well as bruised knees but surived. The car was totaled. Yes, I believe in Guardian Angels .
As a firefighter I could feel my Guardian Angel's protective arm in every situation

I have been blown up multiple time in Iraq and Afghanistan, not a scratch on me. When I came home, I blamed God for the horrors I saw and "wrestled" with him. I started getting randomly injured, like a bone just dying in my wrist as I "wrestled with God " and his divinity.
I spent the last half hour or so just reading this incredible comments. This has to be the BEST comment section on all of youtube!! There is such goodness emanating from this channel and all the beautiful stories of Guardian Angels intervening in our lives at the moment we need it most. ❤

you might think I'm crazy but often when I am at Mass I have a sense/feeling that my guardian Angel is standing behind me, his presence like behind me around my shoulders. One Sunday when I was particularly down and discouraged I felt this presence tell me " take strength, you are greatly loved"...it nearly made me weep and it was just what I needed to hear.
I remind myself they're there with the saints giving worship every Sunday with us, the whole Church.

Go to an organisation that helps victims of such abuse and use your time to help them, help their causes, do their book-keeping, do their social media outreach, do something.

When I was five years old I stopped in my tracks when I spotted an angel sitting on the branches of a tree in my grandparents’ backyard (If I were to attempt that, the branches would brake and I would go crashing to the ground!). I saw him by his profile, he didn’t see me. He had one hand on his chin as if pondering something. He was breathtakingly beautiful, his peaches and cream skin was more perfect than porcelain, his blond hair was like gold, curly and shiny. He wore a long white robe, was barefoot and his wings were enourmous. I quietly observed him in awe for about a minute then ran to get my grandmother. When we got there he was gone. Praise The Lord for blessing me with this heavenly vision, a precious moment I will never forget!

Many years ago as a silly young woman, I was very drunk. I fell asleep in front of an electric fire, with my heard on a cushion from the couch. I was alone in the house. At some point, I recall being, literally, shaken awake, and someone shouting: "Wake up!" in my ear. As I came to, I saw the cushion I had my head on, smouldering and about to catch fire. The smoke was toxic and noxious. I would have either burned to death or died of inhalation of smoke, for sure. I was out cold. I know that was my Guardian Angel, saving me.

Same thing with me!! I wasn't drunk,but a young teen. The fan was in the window and the curtain got caught in the fan and caused a fire. My guardian angel woke me!! Praise God! My bed was right next to the blazing window.
I had a guardian angel experience once: it was the early 90's the day after Thanksgiving. I was out and about on foot (no car at the time) doing stuff. I was waiting to cross the street and was starring at the stoplight watching it as it changed from Green to yellow to red. I put my foot out to step into the street when a voice (I'd never heard this voice before, it wasnt mine!) inside my mind said: "You always look before crossing the street. You should look now". Then the foot that i had extended and was about to plant onto the street with pulled back all on its own! I turned my head to look and a car ran the red light probably going 50mph in a 25mph speed zone! Had i put my foot down that car would hit me killing me instantly!
True story. I believe they exist.

Wow! It felt like I was reading my own story - I had it almost the same but instead of a car there was an Ikarus bus approaching the bus stop that was just round the road bend. I did not hear a voice but instead was frozen in shock, my brain processing the image, calculating the remaining distance and telling me detachedly that in a matter of seconds both my feet would be run over and my body would not cooperate with what the brain was signaling. I just remember thinking in frozen shock - I gotta step back!
Someone grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me back onto the pavement. That’s when I shook off the stupor and turned round to see and thank my saviour. His face strangely did not register though he was right behind me. I only remember that he was wearing an ankle long black trench coat (a lot like The Matrix style, seriously!). He waved off my shocked ‘thank you!’ and stepped down to cross the road.
I am a fast walker and manage to out-walk even men thanks to my dad always dragging me everywhere in my childhood. The thing is - I breezed past all the people who were waiting at the traffic light and he was just one step ahead and continuously accelerating (I was meaning to catch him and thank him properly) and by the time the crowd dispersed, so did he - he was nowhere to be seen! And the road was a straight line, so he couldn’t have dodged somewhere round the corner. Needless to say, I was shaken twice that day.

@@oldtymer9106 later in life I changed my profession and became an ESL instructor, and as this is technically the same as being a teacher, it naturally involves being on your feet a lot, both in a classroom and the teachers’ room.
My current occupation brings me great joy - seeing learners progress in my classes, be they kids or adults, is a precious experience.
I couldn’t have been all of that if I hadn’t been saved that day (not to mention the fact that I escaped the very possible scenario of being severely disabled at a very young age. Or dead.)

When my little boy died I had been sitting in a chair in the ICU while doctors tried to revive him. As I prayed and cried I felt someone walk up next to me and put their left hand on my right shoulder. I thought it was a member of the medical team trying to comfort me. After quite awhile this "person" stepped forward and I could see him. He was in a long white robe, he took several steps and then disappeared.

Years ago, my mother’s cat bit me on the hand. I washed it off in the sink, put peroxide on it, and went about my day. That night as I was sleeping, my arm was throbbing. When I woke up in the morning, it was locked in an L shape. I got a shower with one hand, I put on my jeans and zipped up with one hand, which is not easy. I went to my weekend job, which was cat adoptions through a shelter but at a local pet store. The first thing I would do was clean the cages. A very old man showed up in a polo shirt with the animal shelter logo on it. I had never seen that type of shirt before. He also wore a name tag from the shelter. We didn’t have name tags. I said hello and asked him why he was there - I never had anyone help me before. He told me he was sent there to help me. I told him that he could play with the cats and keep them occupied while I clean the cages. He said, no, he would do what I was doing and clean the cages. Well, I wasn’t about to let anyone do my dirty work. I told him I was going to clean the cages. He raised his voice slightly but firmly, and he again said he was sent there to help me. if it was a woman of any age, I would not have backed down. If it was a man around my age, I would not have backed down. But being that it was an older man, I did not want to offend him. I stood up from the bottom cage I was about to clean, and I let him clean the cages. When he was finished, he left. The employees of the store asked who he was because they had never seen anyone else there before. I said he must’ve been a volunteer from the shelter.
It turned out that I had acute sepsis and was hospitalized a few hours later. I was there for over a week. A doctor came in and questioned me thoroughly. I think he wanted to make sure the cat didn’t have rabies. I told him everything that happened. He told me that if I had cleaned the cages myself, my blood would’ve started pumping faster, and the overall outcome might not have been as favorable.
I had to contact my manager at the shelter to call off for the next weekend. I asked her who the man was that she sent out to help me. She said she didn’t send anyone.
I think he was an angel.

When I was 18 I was driving drunk and high on marijuana. I was completely blacked out and couldn’t even remember the drive. I was basically driving without being conscious.
Suddenly I came to my senses when I was driving towards a massive steel gate with 50 mph. I instantaneously dodged to the right and crashed through a small fence with my car on the side and slided 50 meters onto the property. I only got a little scratch in my finger and no serious injury at all. Had I come to my senses half a second later I might be dead or disabled for life.
I wasn’t Christian at that time and thought I just got lucky. Now I know it was the lord and his angels who saved me.

This is a true story and I know it because I had an Angel sent by the Queen of Heaven save my life in a similar way, only someone else was driving and I was in the passenger seat. Basically he was about to hit a house, but when the tires reached the lawn they stuck in the dirt, the car spun out and only the back end of the car hit the house. God bless you 🙏💜
I'd lost my whole bunch of keys somewhere in the house. I knew I'd locked up the night before and brought them up with me as usual. My son and I searched for three days without success. Finally sitting on the side of my bed as I resigned to having them all cut at great cost I started to walk out of my bedroom when I heard a loud voice say "Look in your shoe". I felt a light touch on my shoulder turning me around very gently leading me towards a pair of ankle boots - and I saw the glimmer of metal peeking from deep in my boot, and there was my bunch of keys! I was so astounded and bowed down in prayer of thanks. Still can't get over the voice and being guided so gently. I know for a fact that we are not alone. Thanks be to God.🙏🙏🙏
Guardian Angel saved my life when i was, stupidly, tried to climb a mountain, and got stuck 3 times in a spot for like 40 minutes at a time, and last time i could not see way out, only was to let fall. I was not practising believer back then, but i prayed to God and i heard voice look to then right, and i found way out of the situation. When i god back down i was totaly sure i got new life. Praise be to God! And thank you my Angel Guardian!
I’m currently in RCIA and I was told that during the week when we do good deeds/sacrifice’s our guardian angels place them in vessels and when we are at Mass they carry them to the altar for us. How beautiful is that

When I was little, I was standing at the top of the staircase in my parents' house by myself (my parents were ordinarily very vigilant but for some reason this time they were doing something else). I was too young to be able to walk down the stairs by myself, but I started to, and I distinctly remember my feet lifting slightly off the ground and I slowly glided down the stairs, then touched down softly at the bottom of the landing. I ran and told my mom, who said, "It must have been your guardian angel." That's exactly what it felt like, as if an angel had lifted me up and gently carried me down the stairs so I wouldn't fall and injure myself. I still think about this often and have recounted the story to many friends and family over the years.
I had the exact same experience. It was a female angel. She would fly me safely down the stairs when I attempted to fly.
Has anyone ever had an angel appear to them in human form to warn them of imminent danger, then disappear? I had this happen to me once. I have also "heard" a warning to "hang on to it" as I drove in the rain and began to spin in an intersection/on-ramp. My car spun around and ended up backed up to the on-ramp....and I missed every car in the intersection. I know my Guardian Angel has saved my life many times!
Wow, I just completed day 4 of my Padre Pio novena, and it talked about calling on your guardian angels. I know nothing about guardian angels and made a mental note to learn about them. Then I did a Bible lesson and opened my RUclips feed to find you, Father Mike, at the top of my feed, discussing them! Wow. God does indeed work in mysterious ways. :)

The man told me, "everything is going to be okay"... I asked my husband, afterwards, if he saw the man in the brown suit, and he told me the man was never there.

The night my Mama died I was laying next to her, like she had asked, with my baby on my chest. I was so afraid to go to sleep. I thought if I stayed awake somehow it would stop her from dying. I know it seems irrational, but, I was desperate to keep her. She told me she l9ved me and "I'd done well, the baby is beautiful". I laid there praying and crying silently. I felt my Guardian Angels "hand" touch me on the forhead and pass, down, over my eyes. I was instantly deeply asleep. My, now ex-husband woke me up, trying to pick me up. He'd already taken the baby out of the room. Which was amazing that that didn't awaken me.
I whispered, harshly, for him to let me be, before he woke her up. But, she had passed. She must have gone as soon as my eyes closed. When he woke me up I still tears on my cheeks. I beleave that she held on until I fell asleep and my Guardian Angel helped me fall asleep, so she could go on peacefully. I thank God for Angel and the compassion of not letting me see her leave us.

When I was in an accident I heard a calm voice say "You're going to be all right." I initially thought it was Jesus because of the intense intense feeling of Peace I experienced but it could also have been my Guardian Angel protecting me. Then I heard "Forgive him."
Once I was a passenger in a car and was very worried about the situation and I heard a voice too "everything/you are going to be alright". I still remember exactly where it was on the road etc and it's been years ago. It was sooo comforting. ❤

yeah same. sometimes when i pray the chaplet i feel something is watching me but i always think that i am praying the prayer for the angels of God so who can touch me? if there's a devil watching me pray they cant touch me like i feel this strange feeling that there's an angel at my back protecting me while i pray. i dont know if you feel the same.

Archangel Michael is my patron saint and I pray the st. Michael chaplet daily without fail. I do intend however on asking for my guardian angel's help more often, cause I'm not aquatinted with the angel. Though I do feel protected and guided.
Many years ago I was driving back from a catechists' conference. It had snowed the night before, and the roads were down to the blacktop, but for whole long stretches of highway, the breakdown lane had not yet been cleared. The landscape looked beautiful, though, and the roads were fine to drive on.
So I'm humming along, just driving home, when a strung gust of wind came up ro meet the front of the car, and suddenly
WHAM!
the latch failed and my hood was blown up against the windshield with a lot of force. Incredibly it didn't crack the glass,
But it made a very loud noise, and blacked out my whole front view except for a small triangular sliver along the bottom where one of the hood's two hinges had wrenched right off the car.
Afterwards my mother asked me, "did you scream? Did you cry?"
And I stopped and realized, no....there was no time. I just had to focus and try not to die!
Fortunately I wasnt speeding or anything and I wasn't in rush traffic, but there were cars around me and I could barely see,
And as I said, the breakdown lane was still covered in a long line of plowed snow, so I had no choice but to keep driving , hoping to find a place where it was clear.
I didnt have a cell phone with me (this was years ago) but I hoped I could get the hood back down and safely get home somehow.
So, I drove slowly with my white knuckles, praying .....and when there was finally a short span of road with a plowed breakdown lane, I pulled over....
there was already a car there, all white, and immediately a man hopped out like he was waiting for me.
I felt immediate relief when I looked into his face, and only realized afterwards that, although they were different races, he looked almost exactly like one of my best childhood friends.
I think this unconsciously made me trust him.
I also only realized when I got home and was telling my family, that every scrap of clothing he was wearing was spotless white, no smudges or stains or anything, and even his sneakers were clean and white...the poofy-looking kind that were popular in the mid 2000s, that looked like little clouds stitched into shoes. They were also spotless.
He said, "what you are doing is berry, berry dangerous" with an accent, and he wrenched the hood over and back down....then he went to his car and came back with a long white strip of some kind of cottony cloth that he used to tie it down.
(When I got home, and my husband temporarily replaced it with wire until we could have it looked at, he handed the fabric to me, and I realized it smelled amazing, like the best perfume ever)
Then he told me to drive straight home, and he followed me until I was leaving the highway and almost in my neighborhood... when he took a turn and drove in another direction. I was disappointed to not have the chance to thank him or buy him a coffee or anything!
I pulled into my driveway. Only when my husband was hugging me tight did I start crying from how scary and stressful it had been.
The hood looked terrible,
but I was home, and not a scratch on me.
We were telling a good friend a few days later, and he said, "obviously that was an angel!"
I can recall many instances where my guardian angles delivered me from danger. I say the "Guardian Angel" prayer twice daily.

My daughter was sitting on the dining room chair when she was 4. She then decided to stand up on the chair abruptly and it fell backwards. Surprisingly while the chair fell backwards, she did not get hurt at all. It almost looked like she was temporarily lifted while the chair was going down. We all got a huge fright of course. At that same time, we looked at each other and instantly felt the presence of an angel in our midst - my daughter’s guardian angel. Praise the Lord for sending us our guardian angels.

I'm an almost 69 year old woman who was raised Catholic, got away from the faith but have come back. You are a wonderful messenger. I was raised in the guilt and punishment way of thinking but you bring out the love aspect by being so positive and loving yourself. Priests and nuns were mostly scary when I was a kid! This priest still believes in guilt and punishment. He just doesn't mention it as much as priests in olden days because it's embarrassing.

What's the passage?
I feel my guardian is happiest when I attend mass. Pray for me to go more than Sunday. I fell into weeks of only Sun. Mass, but back to Weekdays. My guardian must rejoice as soon as I park and head in . To be with our Lord on the cross is priceless.
I had an experience in high school where I had to defend myself from an enormous kid who was literally close to three times my bodyweight. At the start of the scuffle, i got my shoulder under his center of gravity and just barely started to tense my legs up to throw him over. Not only did he go off his feet and onto his back, but it felt to me completely effortless, and it even felt like his body accelerated faster than my shoulder, as if someone or something had lifted him off my shoulder, and when he landed, his face was white, and the look on his face was one of that total terror a person gets when they've experienced something that just isn't supposed to exist in this world, like a ghost, or an alien, or something. And not only did he never mess with me again, but as a chronic bully to that point, he never messed with anyone again and became quite the decent gentleman. I've always wondered if an angel had thrown him off his feet, and he either saw the angel or otherwise knew it.

My guardian angel has saved me so many times I cannot count. I have called him my "knowing" for years as at times I just know when something is wrong. I might know suddenly to change lanes when driving and within seconds see how it saved my life. Once I fell off a cliff on ice....someone wrapped me in their arms, pulled my head down towards my chest as I rolled and when I stopped....no imprint in the snow. Nothing. I never touched the ground. I was fine. I stood up and yelled, 'WHO are you? Who did that just now....I know you're here!!!" We all have these wonderful gentle angels. Thank them everyday for their help in our lives.
I always pray "Guardian Angel chaplet" before traveling and i can tell you its very efficacious; a mystic told that if everyone ask and pray for the protection from their guardian angel, the accident rate will be decreased. Let's take a moment to thank our Guardian Angels and our Almighty God the Father who generously gave each and everyone of us an angel to be our protector and helper.

I had slept in and my family had left to go to a function that I wasn't attending. On the way one of them heard a voice tell them to turn back because I was very sick. If they hadn't listened to the voice, I wouldn't be here today.

I truly believe in guardian angels. I was driving on the freeway and this car came from another lane and hit me. My car spun around in circles several times and I finally stopped facing the oncoming traffic without anybody hitting me. The person behind me backed up so I could turn around and get to the far right lane. At that moment, I knew I had a guardian angel who had protected me.

I’d like to thank my angel. Yesterday I was driving, it was dark and snowing. Limited visibility. Suddenly,I saw myself (in my head) hit someone with my car on the right. It felt so real I became scared. Drove super vigilantly. A few minutes later a man, almost invisible in the dark, crossed the street in a very slow manner with sacs of grocery dragging him down. I managed to break and not hit him but it was super close!
All my life, I've had my "little voice" (as I call it). Everytime I've ignored that voice, I've ended up in trouble of one form or another - always.

I've started asking my guardian angel to help me get to confession more. It's definitely helped.
Many years ago my girl friend, now wife of 65 years , was rescued from drowning in heavy surf by a man who just disappeared immediately after she was ashore. I was on the beach, not aware of her danger.
How much must my Father love me to give me such gift. I love you dear guardian angel.
I truly believe angels exist because I personally have had three different experiences in my lifetime that through the charity of a stranger, comfort from a stranger and a wise word from a older child kept me from possibility of death. I was only a child then.
Very true about not naming the angel. I used to be into new age spirituality and I went looking for my angel’s name and found it to later understand that what was communicating that to me probably wasn’t a good spirit and I was being lead astray, away from God when I thought I was doing the opposite. Never look for their names, just refer to them as God’s angels, guardian angels. Bless you all, may these good beings of light be with us and bring us closer to God each day.

I have experienced it, was on the bike with my daughter(4yrs old), had to stop the bike to give way to a car, it was and abrupt stop so had to put my feet down to balance the bike , but there was a small pot hole and could not touch my leg to the ground. In fraction of seconds I realised that I am going to fall . I just said “oh God” ……. And my bike balanced without touching my feet to the ground. I instantly knew there were angles standing on either sides.

Claire… if you or anyone else could offer any insight on this, I’d be very grateful. How can our guardian angels hear our silent prayers as only God (the Holy Trinity) is omniscient. Do you speak out loud to your Angel then? Demons being fallen angels are the same as our guardian angels-they cannot read our minds. This is really the only part about our beautiful Catholic faith that trips me up….the praying to angels and saints when I know they cannot read my thoughts.

A few things I started doing.
1. Pray more often to my Guardian Angel.
2. Ask him to bring my petition to Our Lord and Our Lady.
3. Ask him to illumine my mind and to give me good mental images.
4. Ask him to remind me of or remember important things, people, dates, and times.
5. Ask him to protect me while I sleep (even though I don't ask every night because I know he already does that).
6. And to thank him!
And I do most, if not all, of this silently in my mind as I don't want to say them out loud and give any ammunition to the enemy they can use to tempt me or try to mess with me.

For most of us it may take many years to be aware of how our guardian angel protects and often guides us! I don't have enough fingers to count the times that my angel has protected me.

As I got a bit older I got a bit wiser and as I got a bit wiser I realized I was more thankful for the things that might have happened to me but didn't than I was for the blessings I was granted. To say it's a miracle I'm still around may be a stretch, but not by a lot. I am sure there are people I have hurt and I didn't realize it then or now but that will be revealed to me at the proper time. For now I simply want to thank God for the greatest Guardian Angel anyone could ever ask for. Each time I go to Mass I think of how happy my Guardian Angel is to be there, close to God in His home. And I am so very sorry for all the years I kept him away from that place. But somehow, knowing my Guardian Angel as I do, I think he's forgiven me. Thank you my Guardian Angel. I can't wait to meet you face-to-face.

I’m so thankful I found and watched this video. I feel as though when I was younger I was aware that I had a guardian angel, but it’s been decades since I’ve acknowledged my guardian angel. I don’t know if mine stuck around, but after watching I apologized for all the wrong things I’ve done and thanked him for all the good things he’s done for me. I also asked him to tell the Lord “thank you” for all of my blessings.

I got a message of Spirit at Mass several years ago that I was to work for the Archangels. I don't know why I was enlightened, but I'm prepared to be called. I recently obtained a Archangel Michael Scapular and wear it. It seemed the right thing to do as I'm retired military (Bosnia, Afghanistan, Iraq). God has protected me in the past, and has given me great opportunities in this life. Now I stand ready to give back, I know when the time comes I will be given another sign.

Same here. I can think of many times my guardian angel saved my life(3 times at least). And also saved me from awful humiliation.
When I lived in NJ I was a Eucharistic minister, but I only went to nursing homes. I got a call from church asking me if I could go to a persons house to give communion. The lady really wanted communion. So I went. She could only take a small piece of the host she was so weak, laying on the couch. When we got done prayer I leaned over her to hug her and I thought she said “ you are an angel” I replied “ no no, it’s just me Sue from St Luke’s “ she said “ no, I see your angel” she died the next day. I am pretty sure she saw an angel and it sure made me a believer.
Sometimes when my husband and I say the Rosary or I'm praying in my own, I can experience the most beautiful, unexplainable fragrance. I can't tie it down. It comes and goes in gentle wafts. My husband can't smell it, but he can't smell roses, or daphne, or friesas, or philadelphus etc. We jokingly say it's our guardian angels being pleased we are pleasing God, and there pleasure emanates as the most heavenly scent/fragrance ive ever smelt, and it's different every time. I call it the fragrance of heaven.

I am a 70 year old woman who has a loving family, friends and lots of blessings. It wasn't always that way. As a 15 year old in the late 1960's I had thought very seriously of ending my life by jumping off an extremely high bridge (about the length of four football fields down). I attended Catholic schools for 12 years but had a mother who abused me verbally, physically, and emotionally. I NEVER heard the word love from her. Needless to say, I had zero self confidence, zits, and hated myself. I walked the bridge one day just to get comfortable with the surroundings. The next day I walked it again and paused to look over the railing. From out of nowhere I heard a voice, no one was around, saying to me, "It will get better!" That was my guardian angel talking. I can't even say if the voice was male or female. But somehow the sound was so trusting and gentle and gave me faith to just keep walking.
Looking back over the years, my guardian angel was there when I didn't even realize it. Thanks Father Mike for helping me communicate with my guardian angel again!
At Mass on Pentecost one year. I had inner sense of the Angels coming down to the Altar at the Consecration...I was overwhelmed with inner vision. Ever since I cry at the reception of Jesus. Our Beloved Brother. Our God. ❤ So holy.. so loving of a God. ❤❤❤
April 2012, I had lost track of time and was late to babysit our two year old granddaughter. For the previous Christmas, we had given our son-in-law a gift certificate to J Gilberts in Glastenbury (along with a promise to babysit our grandaughter). We were traveling on route 691 about to get on the route 91 north entrance ramp at hi rate of speed to make up some time. As I approached the ramp (which is partially blind ramp during to a half height cement wall) I received a telepathic message from my guardian Angel. "Joe there is danger ahead, slow down NOW! ". I knew my wife probably didn't hear the message because even though the part of my brain that processes speach did it's part, as odd as it sounds I had no actual hearing sensation (as odd as that was). She confirmed she heard no warning. I immediately slowed way down right before entering the on ramp. I came upon a car that had broken down and was in the middle of the ramp. I was able to safely get around the car (and two people who were standing off to the side of the ramp) but if I had continued at the high rate of speed I was going before my warning, I would have either collided with the car or the pedestrians standing near their car.
Thank you God for my Guardian Angel and her warning.

I believe I have a guardian angel. I was in a motorcycle accident in 1990 and and when I was laying on the ground with a broken femur. The EMT said to expect the worse pain ever as they had to pull the leg apart. I asked for a second to pray and when the pulled the leg apart I felt nothing. I am not Catholic but I know God or and Angel was watching over me. The reason I am still a Christian to this day. Take care and God bless
A few days ago I was waiting to cross the road at a crowded place. Suddenly and for no reason at all, I took a step back - it was not a natural thing to do in the circumstances (I was standing just outside a store so I was backing into the store). Barely seconds later, two guys pushing a huge cart of heavy goods (facing backwards and going at speed, so they weren’t looking where they were going, nor had I seen them coming) passed by, missing me by inches. I knew it was my guardian angel because moments before that I had bought a book about ultra-short prayers, and one of the prayers was “Lord, defend me.” I was mulling over what I could possible ask God to defend me against. I was thinking along the lines of laziness or shopping addiction ... well it turned out to be two guys pushing a huge cart of goods! This is not the first time my guardian angel has made his presence known to me.

I rode big motorcycles for over 20 years. There were more than several instances where I was spared crashing and being killed in close calls. No other explanation for these divine interventions, saving me from death and destruction. I’ve always felt the presence of a Guardian Angel.
I sincerely apologize to my Guardian Angel for all of the madness that it endured watching over me. I did some stuff back in my day... I fully repent.

Around 2 years ago I became acutely aware of how I had neglected my guardian angel. I was recalling the many times I was miraculously spared serious harm and even death in my 55 years. It was too many to count! I immediately thanked God for the angel appointed to me and now make a habit of expressing my gratitude for him everyday. (I think the prayer we learn in childhood "Angel of God, my guardian dear...." doesn't survive into adulthood. That's a shame.)

I always look on life all my relative and friends that have gone up in heaven all trying to I think they are the angels especially my mum and dad and my beautiful boyfriend who he was one in a million very strong all of them were❤
People who have died don’t become angels because angels were created by God as spirits. People who have died are either saints (the Church Triumphant) or people in Purgatory (the Church Suffering) who will eventually become saints. Since we’re still alive, we (the Church Militant) still have control of our actions. These three groups are part of the Communion of Saints - totally different from angels.

Father Mike I love your love for guardian angels! I have caught a guardian angel in the street a few times and we have looked each other directly in the eyes and connected but in a moment spoken to each other with our eyes to say we must not acknowledge each other. Our souls smile at each other as we agree to pass by and I should not interfere with their duties. It is very special and beautiful and it lifts my soul up to know that they are there.
On at least 3 occasions, my Angel spoke to me. Twice to advise me of problems with my son and once to share a death that had just happened. I’ve spoken to a few people about it, including two pastors, who sort of ignored me so I only share those incidents anonymously.

As a newly confirmed Catholic, Fr Mike has filled my need for more knowledge. Guardian Angels haven't been in my thoughts or prayers. I feel bad that in my 59 years, I have never thanked or recognized the hard work my angel has done for me. God loves us so much that he has given us this gift and I thank him for allowing angels to help keep my family safe. I won't forget to be more thankful and be more aware of my angel and listen to what they are telling me.
