We got riva intake gate, handlepole spring, and riva free flow exhaust! What is the tps adjustment mod and where can i find the info?!? Really interesting in it! Thanks
If you had to pick between the new superjet vs your older one what would it be? I’m torn between the two. I’m a big guy at 6’5’’ 250lbs I do enjoy the 08 and newer superjet, but just don’t l know if you can have as much fun on the new one. Curious what your thoughts are?
New superjet is super fun and fairly close in the nimbleness of the old ones. I still prefer our 2014 superjets over any other ski. Modded out they are just the ultimate for jumping waves, doing tricks and spirted riding. Tht being said if the two stroke superjet is NOT piped and doesnt have a aftermarket head and intending on not piping it. Id prefer the new superjet. The power difference alone would make it worth it. The stock older superjet are underwhelming power wise where im content with the new superjet power. i thought itd be good to mention my dad is about your weight and height but 60 years old and struggling to mount on the new superjet. It having more buoyancy makes the tray much more difficult for him to get on compared to the older superjets that are little enough for him to sink it down lowering the tray. Both are super cool ,actually gonna make a video on comparing all the skis in the near future. New superjet-faster, handles choppy water better, less maintenance longer term, cheaper to maintain/operate Old 08+ superjet- jumps better, easier to time jumping waves, sounds better(both sound wicked though),more peppy, vintage cool, fun to work on but more maintenance, more expensive fuel(gas+mix). Cost alot more long term. We have spent over 5k in my 2014 superjet over the years keeping it running. viby motors cause alot of potential problems. We had a stator bolt come loose from factory causing one failure and gone through one crank toasting another motor. We check under the hood aleast once a ride. The new superjet we only check every other ride at most.
I personally cant do flips lol someone probably has flipped one though with a big enough wave. The hauls are really long. The typicall flip skis have a haul almost half the size of this superjet
@@jdpriv1 dang sorry to hear tht! Theres alot to jumping safely and to be quite honest it’s risky to begin with. Alot of factors out of your control can screw up ur jump. What I first look for is a boat just plowing going straight i avoid the boats tht just try to make a whirlpool doing circles thinking they make waves😂it happens way too often… a consistent wave is way more easy to time and timing is more crucial on the new superjet. As you have to maintain a higher speed going into the wave to launch u outta the water. The boat ur jumping wake is also a big one as I noticed today riding the tr1. The bigger newer skis need bigger rollers some of the smaller boats I tried jumping today had really abrupt waves and narrow channels between waves (if tht makes since)and every time i tried launching those the ski kept getting thrown around making me land sideways. A nice big roller is the easiest to hit as it’s best to hit the waves straight on. I like my feet with my left foot all the way up to the left in the tray and my right most of the way back to the right. I pry my feet into the sides when i hit the wave too as im afraid my feet will slip from tray had it happen a couple time before my jettrim mat. I Ride like a right handed person would traditionally so if you skateboard or snowboard with your left foot foward it would be the same as skiing. The ski just lands pretty much on the rideplate and glide forward. Kinda like 60 degree angle on the ski as it lands or anywhere near there. It should feel fairly smooth landing. Sorry if this was aliitle over thought but thought might help someone else who reads it! Having your feet back far will make the ski wanna go backwards. Thts why u see the trick skis have the foot holds in the very back. So they can flip easier. Moving feet forward will definitely help keep tht nose down some. Im no expert but get some decent air lol. Finally if im following a big boat and its a big enough boat i can get some real air ill do a couple slower lower jumps to get comfortable then duplicate my launch just a higher speed to go higher and higher. Appreciate yah watching and wishing you a speedy recovery🤘🏼😎 will have another superjet jumping video out within the week.
Thanks so much for the detailed response! Our lake has a bunch of sick wake boats. The waves are as big as they can get to the point where the lake is choppy on a calm day, which can suck. I will adjust my feet forward in the typical split ride stance.
We rocking Riva free flow exhaust, riva intake grate(would recommend going with a different intake grate riva grate still capitates on hard turning), the free tps mod, zero degree handlebars, prowatercraft steering nozzle quick steer plate and jettrim mat. 😎
@@khaledtifouni865 cant really say for sure since havent got to personally try them but alot of people recommend the prowatercraft freeride ride plate. If its a complete stock ski. Id do the the steering nozzle quick steer plate (makes more responsive steering that the superjet lacks from the factory without having to switch to a aftermarket steering system tht can get complicated and more maintenance), aftermarket handlebars(for comfort and better leverage), jettrim mat for better grip, tps mod cuz its free and helps with throttle response. Thats a good start and the free flow exhaust if you want it to sound cooler lol. Any more than tht you can dabble with sponsons? Out of the 4 stroke stand ups on the market the superjet is the most freestyle by far. Very playful and super fun. Those mods will definitely enhance the responsiveness of ski and make for a more playful ripper! 😎🤘🏼
@@Floatsorrolls1hey man thanks a lot for ur response I already have a hydro turf mat on and I have a pro watercraft spring and a handle bar which helps a lot and I’m also getting a pro watercraft free ride plate in the near future
Using a flexible tie on the support handle to keep it from flopping around is such a great call! I may have to do that.
Appreciate you noticing the little things 👌🏼😎 works great!
i'm stealing that as well!
What mods / parts have been done to the SJ? Have you done the TPS adjustment mod?

I own and love the sx-r but I agree the yamaha is more capable of tail spins stunt type stuff. Good video.
Appreciate it! Sx-r is still a bad mofo. It ripss! Definitely a different kinda thrill. Thanks for watching!!
Can you do any flips with the stock 2022 yamaha superjet?
I personally cant do flips lol someone probably has flipped one though with a big enough wave. The hauls are really long. The typicall flip skis have a haul almost half the size of this superjet
@Float how do you safety jump?
I did a huge jump from a wake boat and hairline fractured my foot. My feet were too far back maybe? The nose went straight up in the air.
