Dude. Thank you! This method worked. I used some 50/50 ATF and acetone with a syringe as penetrant and instead of a socket wrench I added increasing amounts of impact wrench to finally spin the tube in the hole. I don't know why but impacts work far more often for me than wrench pressure. It took quite a while and I was afraid it was going to break further in the block so I was real careful about the amount and speed of uga dugas I gave it but finally it rotated and I was able to use vice grips to wiggle it back and forth and out while still attached to the easy out. You rock my man.

Thanks to this video and info from Krush I was able to get this done today. I went at it a little differently but because I saw this able to get it done. I went under the truck and the tube is covered by the oil filter housing. If you look carefully you can see where the tube goes into the block. There is a slight angle to the driver side. If you want to use some type of penetrant you almost are better off spraying it on the tube and letting it run down. It has to get over the top ridge you see in this vid. I also hit it with a torch for about 5 minutes. I then used a vice grip and you can grab the tube from over the top of the oil filter housing. Using the housing as a fulcrum you pull the vice grip down and the tube moves up. Once the tube started to move I twisted it back and forth in the block and use more lube. I put bearing grease all over the top part of the tube in the event this has to be done again it should pop right out. Gentle but firm pressure as stated in the video is key as this thing has been there a while.

I have to deal with this issue on my Excursion. How did you get at it? The oil cooler/filter housing appears to be in the way. Did you pull the fender liner out? Thanks!

I didn't have to take off anything to get to it. My excursion has a 6 inch lift so it was easy for me to move around under there and go underneath at an angle. Also i had to put a few extensions together for the bit to reach from top. Just be patient...take your time and it can be done. Do not over turn because you can crack the block there. Good luck!

@@krush_it6650 No issue getting under the truck as I drive it up on some 2x8 to lift and can get under there. Been spraying it with Kroil for a while. I had a similar issue on my M3 oil pressure valve and I used dry ice on it. Broke free after a few minutes. I just could not figure out how you got at it. My pipe broke up high so I have from the header down still there. Thanks for the help!

@@fstlnj29 so take off that one small bolt that's holding the tube. Then move the pipe back and fort and eventually it will break from the neck where it has a ring at the engine block part. Then you can get to it from the top same angle that the tube was for the dipstick. All you have to do then is to break the seized and rusted tube from the block hole.
