    One of the world’s largest fungi lives alongside a tiny town in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Known as a honey fungus, it grows on the outskirts of Crystal Falls, population less than 2,000. In 1992, scientists who discovered it published a paper about it, and since then, the town has found a variety of ways to embrace its giant claim to fame.
