Speaking of mushrooms, does anybody have any advice on preventing them? Every time it rains and the soil gets even moderately wet, we get mushrooms in our backyard that our dog had the habit of eating if no one was watching her. They obviously made her sick and we know now to check around the problem areas and remove them before we let her out, but I'd much rather be able to prevent them from growing in the first place.

If you guys could, I would love a little episode of Floralogic for random little wild flowers that are common but often ignored by us as they're usually just common weeds

A show on how fungi assists in trees sharing nutrients would be cool. I understand trees will share nutrients with their closer kin and fungi is necessary for some trees to absorb nutrients but I don't think I've seen anything on the role that fungi plays in the decision. I wonder whether, in an abstract way, it is fungi farming trees so they can eat them later.
