This is my first order from Iacon Store and I hope it all goes well with delivery.
My bff isn't into transformers like I am but she does occasionally watch video reviews with me and she once remarked to me "Transformers has to be the only franchise I've ever seen where knock offs can be better quality than official toys released by the company." and this figure shows how true that is.

@@crazypeem583 nah, that one its still too expensive (I know it comes with more accesories but those didn't even appear in the movie)
So I'll wait for the an mpm12 ko that will prob fix the kitty ears and will cost 60 bucks
Also that prime is kinda 25 cm, perfect scale with transcraft bumblebee

@@renzoalagon my minimum requirements to fix MPM-12 are
-Fix the robot mode. The truck mode is so ugly, so weird that only taking the cat ears out wouldn't solve. To fix the robot they will have to:
•fix the head. Make it bigger or more accurate. Idk that's weird and ugly AF
•the fucking arm kibble. The robot mode is so accurate only losing for TW (well maybe WJ's Fire Scorpion is more accurate too, but it loses with the proportions MPM12 has) and the only thing they need to fix is the arm to make it a mini 3A Prime

I feel like every figure gangster until its 4025 and with the slightest movement of the hand the car can automatically transform into the most accurate cgi version of the robot.

This is great. The paint is exactly why I didn’t want the original MPM ratchet apart from to complete my MPM collection. This fixes my main complaint and does it amazingly.

Yo, I bought the original one from eBay almost a month ago, but when I saw images of this out I immediatly sold it without even opening the package and ordered this guy LOL
Seemed pretty evident that the producer of the KO version is a massive Transformers fan who was deeply frustrated with the original version.
I love how he says the figure looks like it’s a custom paint job but yet it kind of was custom painted

The fact that the masterpiece one looks like A KO 😩
I know it's technically illegal to buy knock offs, but this knock off made the official version look like a knock off while the knock off looks like the original.
Not illegal to buy at all lol. The company making them would get sued not the buyers.

YESSSSS, finally, I waited so long for it
I have modified my SS-74 Bumblebee in Camaro mode to look even more accurate. I applied a black sharpie to fill in the missing parts in the front end and the spokes of the rims.
I really love the figure it self because it is so detailed and so so amazing it is one of the best movie ratchet I have found yet I really really love this figure

I've been watching the original movie lately to try to figure out scale, and I do believe MM Jazz and MM Bumblebee are scaled pretty accurately. Jazz is really short compared to the other original 5 movie autobots.
Yeah but ironhide should be at prime elbow so with ba prime, no ironhide scale properly
@@shadoruto6679 There is the upscaled KO MM Ironhide. I've not seen it in person but that might be what folks are looking for. Looking at the movie though, the MPM Ironhide does look to be in scale.

Rather, I'd suggest that Ironhide and Ratchet should be scaled up because Bumblebee, Jazz and the Black Apple Optimus are very well sized amongst themselves!

I personally feel MPM Ratchet is one of the those whose size is perfect, unlike Optimus and Ironhide who are slightly too small. Bumblebee, Jazz, and Ratchet on the other hand scales relatively well on my book.
@@dsharp4763 nope, MPM ratchet is officially 1/35 scale, so he isn't good with the others ; ) jazz and bumblebee are 1/29: 1/28 trust me about scaling, i only collect my figures with it ; )

I watched TF1 recently, and while Ratchet’s colour is an unusual one, I thought he was more green than yellow... which always felt an odd choice to me, since the “emergency” colour is more commonly yellow.
Really makes you wonder why Hasbro and Takara can't just make their own MPM's actually not look like shit and like the true KO. Because figures like this proves you can make them look REALLY good! If they just made their figures better then nobody would be buying these KOs!
Minimize effort for maximum profit is their motto.
Awesome Ratchet, love the Bayformers designs. I don't get the hate for them, they look superb, and I grew up on G1!

If you want actual scaling, ironhide needs to be the bmb one and this ratchet needs to be bigger. That is the only reason I haven’t pulled the trigger to get him, since he is the only one that is now out of scale in my collection of movie 1

The paint on these MPM figures has been horrible for their last few releases. The Starscream was the first KO I purchased, and I can not have it close to the official Megatron because it makes Megs look like a cheap KO. I picked up the official Ratchet but it looks so cheap with the lack of paint, so I have the KO on the way.
Wow I need a job.
Thank Takara for their designing and engineering, the KOs for their repaint and slight improvement, and Hasbro for watering down quality but still increasing price smh.

When the official looks like the KO
I got mine a week or so ago from Show.Z Store and it is amazing! Though, it seems to have a missile pod missing. I only see a spot for one in the box. I am very confused.

The only part I don’t like is the windows and windshield. I absolutely hate that blue plastic. I don’t understand why they don’t just use a black tinted transparent clear. It’s more accurate.
looking at the mpm autobots, rachet is the only that you feel it needs a total repaint! total!
you can stand with the red and blue on Optimus, the silver on jazz, the black on ironhide..... this rechet yellow looks so joking.

@@PrimeVsPrime and the K.O mpm starscream too is way better than the original. thank you takara and hasbro for the engineering but i got to say the 3Ps are doing go in terms of modification and more movie accurate color scheme.

Honestly. I was so close to just buying the Offical but then I rewatched this video and pulled the trigger and ordered him from Iacon Store. I just wonder when it'll get to me...

Huh??? The 2007 Voyager class mold wasn't bad (the best iteration of that mold was probably the Hunt for the Decepticons release), the Dark of the Moon Deluxe class mold was pretty good stuff (so were Hasbro's funky red "Specialist Ratchet" repaint and Takara's Age of Extinction Movie Advanced Ratchet reissue with the G1 styled repaint), and the Studio Series Ratchet (said to be a new mold based on the DotM but with all new engineering) is said to be pretty good, too. Seems that MPM11 is really the only legit fumble they had (due to paint and the lack thereof)...well, that and the Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe, that thing sucked.
Bumblebee, shorter? Nope, for the live action movies, the various Camaro Bumblebees are all actually a smidge taller: they're eighteen feet, while Jazz, Sideswipe, and even Barricade are an unusual fifteen feet. (I get Jazz's vehicle mode. But aren't both Corvettes used for Sideswipe a similar size to the Camaros for Bumblebee???)
Seeing the HasTak & KO side by side, paint is clearly where they screwed it all up: the HasTak MPM11 definitely looks like a new Voyager or maybe even a Leader class TOY with the bright colors being exactly like the previous toys. As for vehicle mode...uhh...was the HasTak version that gappy? Seems like the KO doesn't quite tab together as well at a few places (you can very visibly notice that the front end as well as the side panels are more flush on the official than on the KO...not by much, but it's very noticeable)

what the fuck is with hasbro and treating the bayverse masterpiece figures like fucking trash key details are always missing and they always look like something bought off a supermarket shelf instead of being a collectors item what happened to the times were official figures outclassed the ko's now the ko's are higher quality and have more detail then the official figures it irritates me that no one calls this bs out
