I have always liked the width of Bayverse Starscream. Its different and alien, and the shape has a decent explanation. And what is that explanation? Well, it's the fact that his jet-mode - an F-22 raptor - has more mass than the truck of Optimus Prime, which is a a 379 Peterbilt if I recall correctly, and is also installed with a sleeper cab if the term is also correct.
Wow he looks way better than I thought he would but it is so disappointing that they didn’t improve anything about him… I already have the Ko version of this, that also has the tattoos and he completely wins in everything against this version because of better paint, price and it actually has some improvements over the original.
Even though I'm (NOT) especially a fan of "Starscreams" Motion-picture ("robotic appearence,") All things considered, This is remarkably impressive & "spot-on" screen-accurate !!!! 🤗❤️👍🏾
Even growing up with G1 never had a problem with Starscream's movie design or how radically different the designs were in general. As good as the Starscream looks the articulation, engineering doesn't feel all that different from the Leader class released during HFTDs That IMO still is an exceptional toy for the price point when it came out. The underside kibble also looks significantly cleaner, and they were able to fit electronics as well without compromising either mode. The ROTF voyager was a decent representation as well. Would be interesting to see how the MP scales next to the Leader as they look roughly the same scale/height.
Transformers revenge of the fallen is my favorite starscream design those tattoos are cool.

Being an aviation enthusiast, I would take the SS version for the sleeker jet design. Sure, not sleek by its definition, but I mean, like, the kibble. It's not as much on the SS version. It also doesn't compromise the robot mode, so you get a decent F-22A Raptor and a good-looking Dorito. Not to say this figure is bad, but I'd rather have an upscaled SS figure for a lower price.
Hopefully we get brawl or Bonecrusher this year as well

I have to thank you for your review of MPM-13 blackout, it's what pushed me over the edge to get him(my first MPM figure, and of my favorite bayverse decepticon) and holy crap he was worth the money
Same here dude! Blackout was always my favorite Bayverse Decepticon and I wanted to get the MPM for Christmas after watching his review. I was shocked at the very high price, but he was my first MPM figure and…yeah, he’s flawless!
Opening the packaging, he’s nearly a foot tall and weighs as much as a full gallon of milk! The articulation is amazing despite the complexity of the robot mode and the accessories like the rotor weapon and Scorponok are extremely well done! The underside of the helicopter mode is sexy and the details are immaculate!
It’s the best Transformers figure I’ve ever owned! I didn’t even know they MADE an MPM Blackout until that review popped up in my RUclips feed. Thank you PrimeVsPrime! 😁
I love the look of this guy! He definitely looks better than the first release and I honestly like it more than the KO. The tattoos are way more accurate when compared to the actual film design as most concept/reference art is inaccurate, and the colors being a bit darker rather than bright silver ismore accurate as well. Not doing some mold changes is a bit disappointing but honestly not a big deal, at least for me, plus I highly doubt a waist joint would be possible on this guy given how he transforms. My copy is currently on the way and I am very excited for him!
This is a scale up compared to the KO model 👌🏼

Does anyone think an MPM Brawl or an MPM ROTF Optimus Prime will be due for the next figure of the Masterpiece Movie line? Hopefully it is a brand new mould for Brawl, probably one of the coolest and one of my favorite Decepticons of the movies.
Why MPM ROTF Optimus Prime, how he changes in 2 movie?

I know people like to sh*t on this design, but honestly?
It's one of the best designs of the franchise. It looks nothing like Starscream, but it is SO accurate to his character.
His long chicken legs make him look cowardly. Combined with his short and wide torso giving him sort of a hunchback similar to a servant like Igor. Plus his long thin arms and fingers make him look like a slimey backstabber, it helps that he's always rubbing them like he's scheming.
TF Prime Starscream barely looks anything like the original either, but it still works because the design comiments the character and I think the Bayverse design does that too.
Finally, a Starscream that I might be lucky enough to get my hands on.
What am I talking about. I live in the sticks and the only Transformers we get are Legacy Bulkheads.

Hasbro really needs to start looking at Bandai's macross figures when designing jet transformers in the future. Design the jet first then design it toy turn into a robot from there. Zero kibble on macross figures for the same approximate price. No excuse. Kibble on jets is something that stops me from buying. I'd pay more to up the design budget.
I love this much more than the first one but at the same time this is too late and too expensive. Really reaching into my wallet here so I’ll stay with the third party tattoo version

Eh. It's cool but you could definitely get the 3rd party version for cheaper, and a missed opportunity for Hasbro and takara to make a new figure. Kind of a waste in my opinion. Although the good side to it, if people missed a chance to get the 07 version then they have this to get. And it is a great figure so you can't go wrong there.

I never liked the upside down Bill Cipher look that this version of Star Scream had in the movies, but looking at the design in different angles, I can agree that he does look cool. I just don’t prefer the design.

Hasbro is making more G1 figures cause it is making more money , they make what is profitable. Looks like the movies masterpiece s doesn't sell like the G1's , it is the reason they took too long to repaint him and didn't change the molde , it's just an easy cash grab. Maybe they will remake him in a DOTM version . If they wanna make one, that would be a good way to go remolde the character, then they can call Dark of The Moon.

I hope this isn’t this years figure. A freaking repaint. I’m kinda pissed. Personally I don’t like rotf starscream paint scheme so I’m gonna be pissed if this is what takes the mpm figure slot this year. We need to complete the 2007 figures before we do rotf. And if people were really that upset without it, but a third party starscream, it’s probably better and cheaper
