It is absolutely amazing how the vehicle mode disappears in the robot mode. Gives me a unique toys challenger vibe.

Man, the engineering on this figure is like black magic. After you transform him from car to robot, the final robot mode is so clean. Great review, PrimeVsPrime! Keep up the great work!

This is literally the 3A figure that they somehow managed to fold open and collapse into a decent VW Bettle with a few proportional sacrifices. Pure black magic.

I like the fact this toy Bee's head becomes the rear end of the car. Since the engine of a beetle is at the rear end, i find this way of transformation quite interesting.
it's so advanced it's kind of intimidating, we finally have live-action figures that transforms exactly like the movies. I believe TC has an upcoming Knight Prime too which looks like a really nice balance between UT Challenger and TW Knight Orion. Also the fact that 60% of the transformation involves the legs alone is batshit incomprehensible. Miss the transformation sequence video once by a blink and suddenly the car parts appear out of thin air. Crazy.
What a time to be alive, accurate MPMs and WFC engineering.

It seems like the that year of QA really has paid off. Their Mohican was a good start, and mostly assured me TransCraft is fit to make Knightverse figures, but that figure simply proves their ability to deliver. I can't wait for TC to reveal the OP prototype (estimate: 3 to 4 months from now).

I did not believe that figure transformed when I started the video, that's crazy how accurate they got it while still being able to become a beetle. Awesome review too man!

This is a gorgeous looking figure. Although, I've had an issue with my copy. To anyone who has this figure, make sure to check if the shoulder butterfly joint is rotating smoothly first, or else you could end up with a breakage. Fortunately I found this product called "shock oil" which is used for the shock absorbers of RC cars. It's a silicaone based oil which claims to be safe to use on ABS plastic (which this figure is made out of) unlike regular WD-40 penetrating oil. Make sure to get the least viscous one. I just put about 2 drops and wiggled the joint with a pair of plies and the BAM, I had myself a rotating butterfly joint in less than 5 minutes. Hope this comment helps.

I was hoping to pick this up, but I think $170 is a bit too steep for me unfortunately.
But perhaps one day i will change my mind.
But then when compared to say standard models it's extremely high value in comparison to standard models with this level of detail when compared to Hasbro ones imo
You are absolutely correct. I'm just someone who isn't exactly able to spend that much money, that's it. I would say the price is fitting for this great of a figure.

This is crazy, I've never seen a transforming 3rd-Party figure THIS involved!
You could easily mistake this as being a straight robot mode model. Amazing what they've done to create the feet and flatten the doors for the backpack

Unrelated but your right they based off MPM-07 from the original bee from the movie before redesigning him. Altho he's missing a few more black armor pieces on the car roof, chest and a few spikes on the chest and legs
Honestly, I kinda like the door wings on MPM7. Just some remnants of BayBee.
This was the one I was waiting for when zeta toys and transform element bumblebee were released, it's by far the most accurate especially in the legs

I just received my copy of this figure yesterday. Love it. It looks even better in hand then I had hoped. My only issue is the head on mine is really on and I can not trade it out for the battle mask. I've never been able to get my official MPM to fit together perfectly either, so with this figure looking so amazing in bot mode, I can forgive any gaps in alt mode. I never liked the official, but it really looks like a cheap toy version standing next to the Transcraft.
Great review PvP, looks great in bot mode, looks pretty decent in VW Beetle mode, should have been more weathered and dilapidated looking, I know it's due to the Transformation, but transcraft's Bee should have Visable head Syndrome between the front wheels, the only 3rd party VW Bee that has that is Transform Element's TE-02, which unfortunately is a bit more stocky in bot mode, due to much of the vehicle mode being compressed and folded up in his chest.

Bayverse Bumblebee - The front of the Car forms the chest.
Bumblebee Bumblebee - Tries to look like the G1 Bumblebee but via the mechanisms of the Bayverse Bumblebee.
Transcraft Bumblebee - Looks like the Bumbleebee Bumblebee but uses a faux chest and 6th dimensional folding to make the G1 Bumblebee transformation look like the Bayformer Bumblebee.

This figure is excellent, I have two critics, the front bumper should have been diecast and some of the plain yellow panels stand out in bot mode (specially in the back, the abdominal area and the feet) so they should all have the same weathered finish (even in car mode that finish would have been a improvement). I'm glad I preordered this TF action figure and after dealing with their first release it was an easy call. I wasn't going to collect Bayformer figures but MXG-01 Mohawk changed my mind. Thanks for the review.
