That is the most gappy, hinge covered and broken looking alt-mode I have ever seen, lol. And people talked trash about the Studio Series BB's alt mode? Yikes! The bot mode is rather nice though, I will admit.
I agree! Not the best looking alt but a robot mode that is amazing!
i mean this is what happens when you have a design that's only kibble is the front of the car and the wings and the wheels while also being too smooth and roundy

Sadly there's been lots of qc issues with regards to cracking leg joints. It doesn't look like they updated and fixed the mold for this release tither. Would have been nice to bring it up during the review in any case.
I’m just waiting for Cyber Era to OS this figure like they did with Bumblebee
I can only go by personal experience and I had none of the issues as described above on Bumblebee nor so far on Cliffjumper - I only became aware there were QC issues with this figure in the comment section of this video :(
Would you say it’s a deal breaker if one were to find one that had those problems?
I wish they had given him a new vehicle mode too. I just don't think the bug really works for Cliffjumper

That face is legitimately terrifying. Looks like Cliffy got 20 facelifts and ended up looking like a cross between Green Goblin and Cthulhu’s sleep paralysis demon.
Haha it does look pretty scary but that’s how it was in the film I guess
@@PrimeVsPrime Nah, his face was not that thin and elongated in the movie. It was wider, more stout, he wasn’t constantly pouting, and the vents on the sides were a lot smaller. The head had a rougher texture, likely due to weathering; so this new one should have been a lighter shade of silver in my opinion.
Honestly that hilarious, I can't look at his face without laughing now.
ironic fact about Bee and Cliff, remember they do share the same base just like in the actual G1 cartoon, so they would also share the weapons too, especially if it's the inbuilt weapons, his pistol/blaster he had was more separate from him, but mostly probably stored on him some where

It will be really cool if Cliff jumper could be revived in the future movies and Bing reborn as Stinger from age of extinction but still bing a autobot but a little more aggressive
i guess it would make sense maybe bumblebee saw the beetle vehicle and was like oh it looks like my bother cliff jumper and scanned to it memory of him

The first one has serious issues with cracking and breaking with use. I hope this one fairs better as I love the mold...
Luckily I never encountered any QC issues with my bumblebee but the tolerances for Cliffjumper appear to be about the same so there are some areas which are super tight
It hasn’t been fixed. The reveal of the figure had cracks in it.
My question is why didn’t they just have this Cliffjumper turn into his Cybertronian alt form? The robot mode chest has the front of the alt mode, why not just have him turn into that?
I’m guessing because this is a slight retail of their Bumblebee figure, but if you’re gonna have a Cybertronian robot mode Cliffjumper, you could at least go the extra mile to have him transform into his Cybertronian alt mode. It would definitely give a better alternative to the Studio Series figure (at least in appearances).
If you want an accurate (although non transforming) cliffjumper figure, the trumpeter BB movie cliff model kit is Stellar. Highly recommend

Cliffjumper has been my all time favorite transformers character of all time, and what they did to this figure kinda disappoints me, sure cliffjumper has always been a "red bumblebee" his whole life but like I just wish they changed the figure up a bit more. The only thing thats different are the chest pieces, the head, and the paint. And I just wish they gave him his cybertronion mode or even better probably like a dodge challenger to refrence TFP Cliffjumper.

I can get over the car bc it’s their representation of earth cliff. But I would’ve preferred if they used a 80s porche 911 since it has a similar body style with the round headlights. Since he’s a porche in g1

I have been looking for a transformers cliffjumper figure I saw this one in my local cosmic toys shop over here in the UK used only for £45 eveything complete guns blades box. And let me tell you I absolutely love him. He's great yeah he's a remold of bumblebee but who cares
It would be cool if they made bumblebee 2 in nov 2022 and then add all autobots alt modes and decepticons and even humans.

Studio series should’ve made Cliffjumper’s limbs gun-metal gray instead of black.
They really gave him cybertronian kibble on the robot mode for an earth mode vehicle mode

It is a great robot mode but that car does have issues is it just me or are those feet amazing looking love them

I have the bee version. And to me it’s amazing I love it. But this should’ve been the cybertron vehicle. But the design of bee is amazing and still the best version of a KO. Cliff jumper was just a KO cash grab

Got this guy about a week ago. His robot mode is fantastic and I don’t really mind the vehicle mode but I do wish they went with his cybertronian vehicle form.

I wouldn´t have minded a normal deluxe release of him in my collection if it had no backpack.... but this is too expensive.

I prefer the Zeta toys Guardian inaccuracies and all. I just pretend it’s a splinter timeline movie Cliffjumper. Or Ratchet patches him up! A lot of patching up……

I dont mind the gaps on the vehicle. I just impressed that they were able to make this figure transform while having a perfect robot mode that is dead-on accurate to the cgi model

Oh, I’m so disappointed he turns into a beetle… that’s the worst thing Cliffjumper could ever be… he never came to Earth so an Earth based alt mode is dumb from the get go, but Cliffjumper’s life long challenge of escaping Bumblebee’s repainted shadow make it insulting to make him a beetle. Why not just use the cybertronian alt mode that the studio B-127 used, if you’re going to make him a Bumblebee repaint again?
I do wish it was a cybertronian alt mode too! Maybe they didn’t think this character would sell well enough to worth investing in

Well I’ve had Bumblebee for over a year now and nothing wrong with him at all so I can only go by personal experience
Not a fan of his super long head
I just don't like the face much
