Has anyone else ever noticed that Bee’s battle mask, specifically from the Bumblebee movie, kinda looks like Waspinator‘s head? I’ve always noticed that but the bigger one on this figure makes me realize that even more.

@@StrykerPrimeProductions Because you are lol. Yeah originally the name was just referring to the fact that he is yellow like a bee, but ever since transformers 2007 its been obvious that his design in the movies were based off bee's (more like a hornet, but still). Sorry you live under a rock.
@@kevine9474 I know that. All I’m saying is that his battle mask reminds me of the robot mode head of Beast Wars character Waspinator. I don’t see a bee all I see is Waspinator’s head. I’m not stupid! You don’t know me so just shut the fuck up!
Yesss very Waspinator inspired! I think the battle masked head for this bee is a lot nicer than the Bay version
this is NEAT the red eyes feature is really cool and I love the dirt paint on it and its so accurate this is what we should have gotten years ago with the masterpiece version gotta get this figure eventully btw in ur last vid I was talking about SDCC optimus its TF5 I was talking about.
It is really cool! Oh I got mine from eBay I think over a year ago now. I’m not sure if any stores would still have stock

Come oooon! I just murdered my nerves repainting my regular clean CE-01, and now they release this!😅 If I only knew this one is coming I wouldn't even touch the paints and brushes, even considering the fact I made it a bit closer to the movie (e.g., hand panels, rear lights, etc. which were painted wrong both on TC-02 and CE-01, even partially on the DLX to my surprise). But what is done is done...
This is incredible, I was hesitant on buying the clean version because it really didn't match the character but this weathered version looks amazing. This is what the original figure by Transcraft should've been, 100% buying this.
I saw the red eyes - was hoping that was a feature on this guy. That would have been super cool!
The robot mode looks really good.

They’re a little small but they look great and they pose really good. You should review them.
They just released Arcee and soundwave is coming in august.

I just bought mine thanks to your last comparission with Transcraft! Personally I think that the eyes are really weird but over all if you compare with movie pictures Cyber era has a more accurate representation I think. If I am lucky I will recive my magnificent mecha optimus prime during the second batch. And they both will look cool (maybe not scaled but cool XD).
Meanwhile at some place at Takara Offices... "But we can't make dissapere the backpak!"
I really wish this guy was smaller, i know he's just an enlarged transcraft beetle but i've heard too many stories of that thing snapping. It would just be nice to have a solid version of this mold to fit in scale with the new CE-06
Yeah! This gives me a bit of hope that black mamba bs-03 challenger will get a damaged/weathered version on the future. I hope it's soon

That thing looks so freaking accurate
I love weathed battle damaged deco on figures, but it doesn't look like it's applied well here... It's like they just slapped weathering wherever randomly instead of applying it to where grime and rust would build up. The transcraft has a wash applied over all of it while this figure has shiny immaculate clean yellow look but with black dots stamped on top.
I agree - the weathering looks pretty unfinished in alt mode but I do think the robot mode looks the part
I feel like a light switch disguised as one of bumblebee's head would be really fun
I don't think you ever showed how to turn the eyes red, but I could be wrong. Still, the figure looks amazing, and I agree that the weathering in beetle mode could be better

Yeah my Transcraft never broke either but having in both in hand sadly it does feel a little cheap so will be very delicate with it from now on
@@PrimeVsPrime Mine broke, but i really liked the transformation so i bought a second one. That broke in different places. I managed to scavenge parts from one to repair the other but it. just. kept. breaking. Eventually i ran out of duplicate parts. And i'm very careful with my figures.
I wish there was a downscaled Toyworld Prime. I'm ok with my Transcraft and would like a Prime to pair with that, but for some reason all of the 3rd party BBM Primes are out of scale with Transcraft Bee
The hammer is based on the concept art of the bumblebee movie. One side of the hammer is supposed to be the Volkswagen logo, which explains the circle.

I purchased this on eBay the non battle damaged version
The music that was played during the transformation sounded like the OG G1 cartoon theme except it was slower and more heroic sounding.
The shoulder are loose because you forgot the to peg them to the front of the chest. I was having the same problem and figured it out myself. Try it and you’ll see how it fix that

I have the clean "undamaged" version of Ce-01 and it was by far a much worthy replacement to the mpm bee movie bumblebee. This should've been the official release from hasbro instead of a studio series upscale. The transformation is slightly complex but not ridiculously hard and results in both clean modes being kibble free. Glad it doesn't have the breaking issues like transcraft Apparently a cliffjumper variant is coming soon

Great! I have this figure aswell, I have the clean variant. My only problem in this figure too is about the non battle mask head which it is kinda off for me too
It is very nicely done besides the head! I am hoping there will be an upgraded sculpt in the future

Fun fact: That isn't a Warhammer, it's a mallet. Warhammers are small, single-handed weapons meant to bludgeon and pierce. Warhammers in fiction are really just mallets.
Edit: Warhammers can have long staffs for distance-engagement, but the hammer section was still small, as the wider a hammer is, the less it inflicts concentrated damage against armor. Precision was a necessity against armor.

the weathering on mine is much better, but my arm blaster didn't work out of the box either, blinked for a second and then nothing

The wash job on this model is abismal. Couldn't imagine being happy with a purchase if it turned out like that. They should've given the oil washes on the model in car mode first to make sure it didn't result in those obvious pooling marks. The was was not applied correctly. They passed it off as weathering but the truth is they did a bad job
I really hope someone comes out with a 3d file or something for an improved unmasked head. I have the first version of this figure without all the battle damage and I'm considering selling it just to get this. EDIT: (combining both comments into one) oh and also, be very careful with the wings. On the original CE-01 at least, they are extremely delicate, and it is recommended that you apply some lubricant to the joints or else you run the risk of them snapping off and break the ballpoint. That happened to me and while you can get a replacement it takes a while.
Ah thank you very much for the tip in regards to the door wings! I would love a brand new head sculpt for this bee too! It would looked awesome
@@PrimeVsPrime I have just learned that you can pop out the eyes on the unmasked head very easily, praying someone makes a new pair since it looks very simple. Might even be able to do it myself
