Since the Bumblebee movie, there have been quite a few attempts to create the best representation of this character.
The official MPM 7 in 2018, Zeta’s ZV-01 in 2019, and Transform Element TE-02 in 2020, but fans are still not convinced by these releases, until the end of 2020, Transcraft released TC-02 that caught people’s attention.
This figure had almost everything right, the likeness of the character, the proportion, the silhouette, the articulation, it was the best one.
But in early 2021, when fans received their TC-02s, the nightmare began.
Almost every joint, the shoulders, the arms, the legs, the knees, ball joints, hinges, everything breaks, the terrible materials used on this figure instantly got fans mad.
Yes, it has an ingenious transformation design, but no one dares to experience it, the materials could not even handle temperature change, joints just cracked and broke on themselves, the production killed the product.
So, there came CE-01, an oversized KO of TC-02, that almost replaced every joint with die-cast metal or nylon, in this video, let’s talk about this figure.

Yes, CE 01 / TC 02 has great design, it looks very accurate to the character design, good choice!
I recently bought the zeta pioneer and regret it immensely. Head snapped off. Stress cracks all over the panels, front headlight socket is cracked. Absolutely awful manufacturing. This review said literally everything I wanted to hear for finding a replacement.
Sweet. Mine should be shipping soon. Like everyone else, my TC BB was awesome for about two transforms then parts started breaking. I can't wait for mine to arrive!

I broke my ko mp beqst wars dinobot that was my only 3rd transformer I attempted to transform, now I'm afraid to transform any of my figures and just leave rhem in robot mode lol.
this and the lucky cat are the 2 best ones to exist in my opinion

sooooo excited for my copy! I have the original transcraft, and thankfully, I haven't had any breakages yet. Just had to research a bunch on which joints to watch out for. I was able to lube all joints of concern before making my first conversion on it.
Good for you! TC really takes some extra care. CE made it a lot more comfortable to play with.
I like this mold. I have the original TC-01, and nothing's broken on me yet (granted, I've only transformed it twice), but the LED's do make me reconsider. Only issue I have with this is the size.
Scales well with MM01, TW FL, 3A DLX Optimus.
@@OptimusLegends the CE or the TC? I've been having trouble evaluating which Prime would scale with my TC, and I don't have plans on buying the CE anytime soon

Can you still transform the figure back into vehicle mode with the battle mask head on like the tc-02 cuz the head is a little bit larger than the normal head
Hi Rodel, I just tried it, and it works, but be mindful of the shoulder pads scratching the battle mask.
Mine arrived today and he is an awesome figure, he pairs well with my WJ M09 Bumblebee Movie Prime.

I ordered a bunch a different transformer ko figures off aliexpress including this one I think it looks pretty movie accurate and for that price tag its a steal.

That Optimus is Toyworld Bumblebee Optimus, released quite a while ago, scales with Threezero DLX figures.

I got this guy locally however there's a lot of lose joints. It's driving me crazy. Hard for me to pose him. But he looks amazing. Still annoying to pose.

I never handled 5U, but it seems that people recommend ThreeZero over 5U for the quality difference.
As for me, I enjoy the transformation so it's CE01 for sure.

Mine didn't come with the red LEDs
Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I have my TC-02 for a very long time and have no issues whatsoever. Even though this KO version brings a lot of improvements over the original design, the scale is what is holding me back from buying it. Should my figure break, than I will consider buying this one. Great review, though, and thanks for the heads up. You should get more likes and subscribers, because the quality of your videos is amazing.
Hi CSC, thank you so much for the comment, and really glad that your TC-02 is still in perfect condition, heard news about TC improved their build quality of TC-02 and also the new Cliffjumper repaint, it's a good thing they did that. TC-02 does scale perfectly with the official line, while CE-01 is trying to match up with DLX scale, so, they serve different segments, good for us collectors.

Good thing I saw this video, I was about to get the transcraft bumblebee. But after seeing your review I've changed my mind and will get this one instead. As far as I remembered TC02 didn't have LED's in them, an qlternate head, and more die cast metal on the joints. Also how much is it and where can I order one?
Hi there, CE 01 is available on Ebay and other online stores like ShowZ, if you buy from China, the retail is roughly 50 USD without shipping, and the shipping fee varies of course.
I purchased mine and a bunch of other transformer figures from Aliexpress app.

I am very sorry that your TC-02 broke. I never handled it, so I wouldn't know how does it compare to CE 01. But generally speaking, it think CE 01 is pretty sturdy, and the only reported issue is one of the ball joint with a short screw in it, it's the ball joint connecting the tail light and the fender to the door, that might fall off, the solution is very simple, glue it back on, the cause is the ball joint being too tight, and the screw being too short, since you have TC-02, you should know what it is.
My copy is perfectly fine.
Rather than that, I think it should just work as an average figure with a lot of metal joints, which helps.

Hi Michael, I do not own zeta blitswing, but I assume it would scale well since blitswing is DLX scale, CE 01 scales well enough with TW Optimus, which is also DLX scale.

Hi there, it was Hasro official issues 2019 and 2020, they came with various sizes and styles, could be found on Ebay.
Out of curiosity, can someone tell me which transforming bay verse oversized Optimus this scales with? I have a aioi mech Optimus (someone got me) and wanna know if this scales with it

It's way too tall for MPM-12 prime, Bumblebee is just about a head lower than prime.

Hi Robert, I am sorry for the confusion, the girl is April from TMNT 2012.
But since it doesn't scale with anything else it's basically pointless... Wei Jiang or someone needs to take this one and scale it back to MPM scale.
I guess CE 01 is trying to scale with DLX, and left the MPM scale to its origin, TC-02.

Looks awesome but when the transformation takes over 5 minutes, it looses its appeal for me. It's impressive, but you complex for me personally
it looks pretty cool for sure but whats the point? if you want a proper robot mode just get the Threezero DLX Bee and or maybe even the Premium version if Bee is your favorite character. and as far as Alt mode you can ether get the MPM-7 or a diecast model VW Bug and display it as his alt mode. and just custom hand paint it. make the car look old and beat up and rusty. simple

The fake parts are disgusting. The thing why we want our figure transformable cause to we want to know there the parts of the alt mode going. Since the fake parts are too much, I've rather getting dlx and jada toys car mode of the same character. CGI accuracy is pointless if fake parts are included to the figure itself
