Very beautiful ride ! My dad and I used to ride too. Does my heart good to see you do that ! I'm 62 now , dads gone. I rode a Suzuki TS 125 and he had a TS 250, rode all over South Pass in Wyoming. Great memories. Keep up the rides ! Love your videos!

Love the videos. Great way to get your son into biking. I get the BMW for the road comfort, but you should invest in a KTM 350 or 500 EXC F for the trips to CO to trail ride. It will eat those trails up and let you really see the back country with a little less stress.

There were a couple of times when the kid was riding the outside shoulder of that trail & it was making my heart skip a beat! I understand that Colorado Springs is out of your way on this trip but you should consider riding to the top of Pikes Peak with him some day. I did it a couple of times & it never gets old. It's a dirt road that isn't nearly as technical but makes up for it in other ways. Try it, you'll like it.

Thanks so much for another great video. When Diego is as old as you, he'll be telling his kids about the epic ride he did with his Papa when motorcycles still ran on gasoline.

Hey there macho man your going to have to break down one of these days and get yourself a midsize adv bike. Maybe something like a DR650. Much more manageable in the tough stuff than Scarlett. Believe me you'll enjoy the ride much more.

or take a weekend class. It will greatly expand ones comfort level on the 1200, and learn skills that are transferable to a smaller bike if ever needed. Better yet, take the weekend class with your son and you'll both have a tremendous experience that you can build upon together. Riding with my son is one of the highlights of my life. Learning together is part of the grand adventure! The roads shown in this video are comfortably ridable on a 1200/1250 with just a weekend of training.
