You seem like a really level-headed man and a good dad. Your son is lucky. Also I love the moment at 3:40. I just love the way it catches your son off guard and really brightens him up. You guys will probably remember that for a long time. Good stuff man!
Amazing! I'm watching this on a Saturday morning about 5 minutes in and getting pumped to go for a ride in the North GA mountains with my daughter within the hour. These videos are more than just about adventure motorcycling. It's about the human experience, connecting with the people who matter most, and making magical memories along the way. Thank you!
"Don't get too close to the edge!" My Mom used to tell me the exact same thing on every single trip we made to Glacier National Park! LOL. Your a good father.
I live and ride here in Arizona.. you are giving good advice about the heat. Once heat stroke starts, it’s too late. Water, and salt...so drink water, then a Gatorade or other salt every so often. You literally feel better in seconds, ..hydropak also so you drink as you go. Enjoy!!
Excellent advice Carlos I just rode the white rim rd 3 days ago and man was it hot And how amazingly spectacular it was but the heat is no joke People listen to Carlos, everything he said about hydrating and clothing is absolutely 100% correct This video was so entertaining and educational at the same time
What an amazing adventure! The trip of a lifetime for you and your son I'm sure! My boy is 13 and now I'm planning our adventure trip Moab looks like a great place!
This one is my favorite of the series so far. The views are amazing in the true sense of the word. Diego's off-road skills are improving at a quick pace; pretty soon you’ll be struggling to keep up. You two are lucky to have each other in this adventure.
Always impressed with the Schaffer Trail footage. Hard to imagine cutting that in with a bulldozer and how long it must've taken to complete. On keeping cool, three thoughts: (1) evaporative cooling vest, (2) Pedialyte electrolyte added to your drinking water, (3) collapsible umbrella onboard to give some shade where otherwise not available. Ride on, Carlos and Diego!
You couldn't be more right about the discussion of keeping hydrated. It has gotten me a few times and can sneak up on you. I have literally been so hot, that I buy the biggest, coldest bottle of water and pour it over me and take off down the road. Instant air conditioning. I bought a cooling vest as well. From experience I try to stay not ride if it gets into the 90's plus getting older, it seems to hit me worse if I do.
You saved $300 per night as hotels and motels in Moab are taking advantage of visitors by charging way more than what they provide, a simple $150 room going for over $300. Demand is there, so camping is the way to go if you are truly an outdoor enthusiast.
That was an amazing episode, like so many of them have been already! Great advice on keeping hydrated and checking the bike over when you take breaks....and way to make your voice-over more creative than you could have sitting at your desk!!!
We did Shaffer Trail last year in March and snow was still on the north side of of the mountain when we went up. It was very muddy/slick in the turns and no room for error, otherwise you were going over the edge. It was an awesome trail to the top. You should have mentioned the spot at the top where they filmed the last scene from "Thelma and Louise". We stopped there and it was great.
AWESOME Father and Son Adventure... Memories for Life!!!

Landscape is truly amazing! Awesome vid as usual 👍🏾
Gonna be there in two weeks. Africa Twin and a Tenere 700. I can hardly wait. We are so stoked to be going!
Great job, Gents! Thanks!
Love your drone video. Super entertaining! Thanks for all your effort and expertise.
824 views? So bizarre. Carlitos makes some of the best videos.
Reminded me of my 2014 vacation in Moab, riding and doing a raft trip down the Colorado. Just wish we had this type of countryside in the UK.
Love Canyonlands. There were afternoon showers at our last visit.
