- Taking my 16 year old son on his first true motorcycle adventure to Colorado and Utah. We live in Florida where my son grew up. He has only seen mountains a handful of times. Now, we are driving together all the way from South Florida to the beautiful states of Colorado and Utah, pulling a trailer with my BMW R1200GSA, and his newly acquired Yamaha XT250. Daryl Walker, I also am wondering if Carlos is OK. I think about him and his adventures all the time wondering why he's been absent from YT for so long.
This morning I thought I'd come and check out his last video and see if by chance someone may have an update on why he's not uploading vids any longer.

If I remember correctly he did mention in a couple 2 or 3 episodes back that he had caught Covid, but was on the mend.

Great Adventure with your son. My iPhone overheats as well. unplug it when its in direct sunlight and it should resume after it cools down.

Stunning scenery that carries on for miles and miles. The debate on what is the most useful dual sport for this level of riding rages on but the offerings in the middle-weight segment appears to be making in-roads (no pun intended) on balancing comfort / weight / range / capability vs large adventure rigs. Wouldn't care to take a 500+ pound beast through sand washes.

What an adventure to have with your son!!! Thanks for sharing it with us!! Not sure where you were flying the drone exactly, but be cautious about flying in National and State Parks, or at least taking off and landing in them, since it's typically against the law. Unless it's restricted airspace, the FAA doesn't care, but it's such a fine line between airspace and physical takeoff and landing spaces that there's a chance law enforcement could get involved.....and that cuts into the riding time which is never good!
At about 3 minutes in there is a rock that looks like a giant eagle, I have been trying to remember where that is for years!

I've noticed over the years your anxiety kicks in around heights. It's mild but like every other adventure, you always push through.
Carlos, I’ve had the iPhone overheat when using the GPS too, its a pretty common issue. If you get a Bluetooth GPS receiver like a Gamin GLO, you will use less battery, your phone won’t heat up, and your accuracy will also improve.

Amigo, on sand speed up stand up so the bike can work. Weight back don’t slow down, steering loosen elbows out allow the bike to move around steer with feet weight shift.
