Oh yes! I understand perfectly😅 Lots of Dears call him "our Kazakh prince". I just thought that as this was the reactor's first introduction to Dimash and they had said they didn't know much about Kazakhstan, they might think it was meant literally. (He really does look and act like a prince.) 😊
Hello! This Dimash reaction brought me to your channel! I promise you this is NOTHING, his talent is out of this world with his 8 octaves vocal range, singing in 12 Languages (Kazakh, Russian, Spanish, English, Italian, French, Chinese, Japanese, etc), he’s a multi instrumentalist as well, writes, produces and also has directed a few of his music videos.
He does have opera background, both of his parents being opera singers, he started studying music at 5 yo, and been studying it since then. He’s Kazajistán pride.
This video shows his beginnings, he has grown a lot since then, now he’s a worldwide phenomenon, giving sold out concert in stadiums, but he remains humble.
We his fans are called Dears and are very loyal to him, we love to spread his uniqueness to the world, apart from being an unbelievable artist he’s a very humble and down to earth being.

They speak Kazakh and Russian in Kazakhstan. Dimash speaks both fluently, he also speaks English and is learning Mandarin. He sings in 13 languages (lots in English) and sings in all genres (including metal elements which he includes in some of his songs). He is considered by many famous vocal teachers as being THE greatest vocalist of ALL time! This was 7 years ago when he had a range of 6 octaves, he now has a range of well over 7. Sings Base through to Soprano and whistle tones much higher than Mariah Carey! Every register beautiful and powerful.

He's a Kazakh singer on a Chinese show, singing a French song. He was the first singer of the first episode of that season. Also the first non-Chinese person to be on the show. Kazakhstan main languages are Kazakh and Russian. Dimash was 22 at the time of this recording, which was late 2016 early 2017. Although Dimash's range is impressive, it's the emotional delivery that connects me.

На этом конкурсе давались задания, на подготовку было мало времени, Димаш пел на китайском, английском (который на тот момент был не очень хорош, сейчас лучше). Это было достаточно давно. Многие песни за эти годы он исполнял на концертах и обычно всегда немного по другому, он постоянно экспериментирует.

This is still one of my favorites of Dimash...the words are so meaningful, from a 1970's rock opera "Starmania". He brought this song out of obscurity for the world to enjoy Dimash's outstanding voice and delivery! Most of his songs have versions with english subtitles.

SOS is from a 1974 rock opera. He is singing it in French, but there are English subtitles available. You have only scratched the surface of what Dimash is capable. He sings many genres of music and does them all beautifully. Check out some more of his performances, I'm sure you will be impressed.

None of the other singers knew anything about Dimash, not even what he looked like or his talent. He only spoke Kazak and Russian, and his first 4 songs were in French, Russian, English, and Mandarin. As the show progressed, some of the other singers said that it was stressful to have to sing after Dimash. He finished in 2nd place on the show, even though everyone knew he had won it hands down. The top brass said he was too young. He was invited as a dark horse and not expected to make it past the 2nd. round. So, they had to save face and 1st. place went to Sandy Lin, a 51-year-old beloved and favored singer in China. The sponsors offered Dimash a contract to remain in China for two years, and they even built a state-of-the-art studio for him to record. Hello, I have been a fan of Dimash for a number of years. I'm from North Carolina. I love seeing new reactors hearing this multi talented young man for the first time. I too thought I would never listen to someone like Dimash. Boy was I blown away the very first time I heard his amazing voice. It was this very song. I was hooked. I mow listen to him daily. I grow up in the south with R&B , Soul music, gospel and Hip Hop. A Southern Baptist 😊. But now I don't listen to "Western Music" as it's called.

El es de Kazajistan, tiene 29 años, estudia canto desde los 5 años , su educación primaria y secundaria ha sido siempre en escuelas de música, es multi-instrumentista, es competente tocando piano, guitarra, teclado eléctrico, tambor, acordeón, marimba y dombra. Dimash domina el idioma kazajo y el ruso. Actualmente estudia inglés y mandarín. Sin embargo, esto no lo ha limitado para cantar en 15 idiomas, estudió en la Universidad Nacional de las Artes de Kazajstán, academia de Arte Pop.
