I remember learning one years ago that's just below the sternum, I think. The instructor demonstrated it on me and it hurt pretty badly, but I've never been able to find the exact spot on my own

magnum567134 it's called the solar plexus. You can actually knock someone out if you get it perfectly. Saw a friend do it to someone once on accident, and it was pretty fuckin cool.

If a man can't see, he can't fight.
If a man can't breath, he can't fight.
If a man can't stand, he can't fight.
Take his sight, his wind or his legs out and you got it pretty much sown up.
My dad was in the marines in 83 his DI was a vietnam vet, one of his lessons my dad passed on to me.

Years ago, I let a co-worker put me in a full nelson. When he started to increase the pressure and would NOT let go, I reached up and grabbed his finger that was on the back of my head, and PULLED... He let go IMMEDIATELY... I then tackled him to the ground and let him know if he ever tried that again I'd freaken kill him.... and he knew it.... Anyway, finger manipulation works GREAT.

KillaCommieFerMommie I think you need more context to have a point.
Finger manipulation works great against uncommitted attackers.
It’s interesting how you were able to dig through your own neck and head to grab one of his digits that he was using for him to apply enough pressure to get you to have “grabbed his finger.”
Seems unlikely that all of those things are true. Perspective. I would learn legit counters and defense and not rely/believe in pain. If an attacker is skilled, committed, and/or drugged these might have little to no effect.
Wrestled for 10 years this is used often, but never pried from a grip. Grips/fingers are strong and partially disappear into other body parts.

The clavical is weakly connected together at that area of the throat. They could be pried apart if you get a few fingers behind one. It won't rip out like a movie special effect but move enough to really hurt.

By any chance, do you know the spot on the neck where you can lightly squeeze or push in and case someone to instantly loose strong in the ir knees and fall to the ground? Years ago, a friend that I used to have did this to me nd I have been wanting to learn this technique for self defense, should I ever need to defend myself with sending a very clear message!

You forgot spots under the jaw. If you lower under the mandible rather than the first one shown where you go behind the mandible and below the ear you can manipulate the head easier and even put a person in a c-clamp or face clamp. Their is also a spot underneath the chin behind the mandible as well. Digging into the tendons above and below the clavicle is also a great spot. Most spots on the torso limbs though are very dependent up fat and muscle composition of your opponent and may not discomfort them terribly. Eyes, nose and throat are you best bet in a self defense scenario. Problem with finger manipulation is that people can turn them against you so you have to be quick and aggressive.

I'm fine with doing that but i worry of losing muscle mass (im not huge or anything I just would like to keep around my current weight/mass) Would sprints or hill sprints give me the same boost in cardio as long distance running?

I love snapping fingers, two troublemakers tried attacking me after school so I just knocked one of them out and I restrained the other one and since he wouldnt stop struggling (im pretty skinny so i needed to do something otherwise I would of gotten knocked over) I just snapped 3 of his fingers and threatened to snap the other ones if he didnt stay still. I ended up wrapping their hands in duct tape (yes... I keep duct tape in my bag) and left
