I remember learning one years ago that's just below the sternum, I think. The instructor demonstrated it on me and it hurt pretty badly, but I've never been able to find the exact spot on my own
magnum567134 it's called the solar plexus. You can actually knock someone out if you get it perfectly. Saw a friend do it to someone once on accident, and it was pretty fuckin cool.
If a man can't see, he can't fight. If a man can't breath, he can't fight. If a man can't stand, he can't fight. Take his sight, his wind or his legs out and you got it pretty much sown up. My dad was in the marines in 83 his DI was a vietnam vet, one of his lessons my dad passed on to me.
Years ago, I let a co-worker put me in a full nelson. When he started to increase the pressure and would NOT let go, I reached up and grabbed his finger that was on the back of my head, and PULLED... He let go IMMEDIATELY... I then tackled him to the ground and let him know if he ever tried that again I'd freaken kill him.... and he knew it.... Anyway, finger manipulation works GREAT.
KillaCommieFerMommie I think you need more context to have a point. Finger manipulation works great against uncommitted attackers. It’s interesting how you were able to dig through your own neck and head to grab one of his digits that he was using for him to apply enough pressure to get you to have “grabbed his finger.” Seems unlikely that all of those things are true. Perspective. I would learn legit counters and defense and not rely/believe in pain. If an attacker is skilled, committed, and/or drugged these might have little to no effect. Wrestled for 10 years this is used often, but never pried from a grip. Grips/fingers are strong and partially disappear into other body parts.
MAXCHI Actually, most fighting games have pretty good and accurate offensive techniques. As far as defensive goes, just hold the block button. :-D retrospecter 501 But the game that is probably most accurate with fighting styles and moves is Tekken.
Hey shane great video as always! Could you do a video on how to mix up strength training and fighttraining effectively? Because i dont wanna give up strength training and wanna start with MMA!
1:55 50 % of pressure points I know don't work on me and that one doesnt. In fact when I'm bord I just take my two fingers and stick them all the way down.
The clavical is weakly connected together at that area of the throat. They could be pried apart if you get a few fingers behind one. It won't rip out like a movie special effect but move enough to really hurt.
Thank you very much for the pressure point training. I am curious to know how anyone defend themselves against pepper spray to protect themselves from being sprayed I would appreciate any instruction you may offer on this thank you very much God bless you
By any chance, do you know the spot on the neck where you can lightly squeeze or push in and case someone to instantly loose strong in the ir knees and fall to the ground? Years ago, a friend that I used to have did this to me nd I have been wanting to learn this technique for self defense, should I ever need to defend myself with sending a very clear message!
You forgot spots under the jaw. If you lower under the mandible rather than the first one shown where you go behind the mandible and below the ear you can manipulate the head easier and even put a person in a c-clamp or face clamp. Their is also a spot underneath the chin behind the mandible as well. Digging into the tendons above and below the clavicle is also a great spot. Most spots on the torso limbs though are very dependent up fat and muscle composition of your opponent and may not discomfort them terribly. Eyes, nose and throat are you best bet in a self defense scenario. Problem with finger manipulation is that people can turn them against you so you have to be quick and aggressive.
The fingers down the hole of the neck we was shown in class when I took karate and jj , the instructor said this wouldn't work on everyone a small percentage of people it has no effect, wouldn't you know the first time I needed it didn't work 😂
Hey I have a question that is a bit off topic. I train Muay Thai and I was advised to start running to increase my cardio. I'm fine with doing that but i worry of losing muscle mass (im not huge or anything I just would like to keep around my current weight/mass) Would sprints or hill sprints give me the same boost in cardio as long distance running?
I love snapping fingers, two troublemakers tried attacking me after school so I just knocked one of them out and I restrained the other one and since he wouldnt stop struggling (im pretty skinny so i needed to do something otherwise I would of gotten knocked over) I just snapped 3 of his fingers and threatened to snap the other ones if he didnt stay still. I ended up wrapping their hands in duct tape (yes... I keep duct tape in my bag) and left
Try two fingers underneath both armpits that is something my dad taught me and it works very well just a little bit of pressure hurts and a lot of pressure hurts really bad
Hey Shane what would you do to defend yourself in a school fight?Like moves that aren't lethal enough to make the guy bleed, but just to show him that you push back.Thanks.(in middle-high school)
Grab him as if you were to hug him then twist his body vertical and he will land on the ground either that and you’re really desperate lift your foot up then slam down by his balls or stomach stomach this arms him temporaly balls disarms him and leaves him crying
+The Dark Knight Just go crazy! Round house, uppercut, jab, jab, round about, shin kick, round house kick to side of knew cap, upper cut, ,round about, jab again!! Go so crazy they don't know what move your gonna use next!
Hey, i was wondering, could you maybe like send me a training video or something to get stronger(more punch power) cause i Think i just pissed of a guy, bigger and stronger and i don't know if he's gonna come for me. Please if you can, email me the video, thanks. Plus, can i like use dangerous pressure points(extra) to make sure he won't come again. If its not to much trouble, email me
He has a video out that explains some of the spots you should aim for to get a knock out. Search on his channel for knockout spots or something along the lines of that.
I was actually playing wit h my little bro and I was bending his fingers and I wasn't even trying to hurt him and he randomly started freaking. it got me to think about how such little strength results in significant pain.
the one where you push at the finger nail up in to the knuckle doesn't seem to hurt me, it just make my fingers crack and that's about it :/, might be because I crack my knuckles.
Men, I hate people that think that another person its gonna think they're tough by commenting this kind of crap. 1) You're not doing it right 2) Stop cracking 'em. You're gonna get shitty hands at age 50
Felipe Vasquez Cracking your knuckles does not damage your fingers joints. That is a wives tale you can let go of right now. Cracking knuckles is not good nor bad for you
Alex Luevano I know its just air coming out of your joints. But, I've felt the affect of cracking my knuckles and not doing it, just by habit and I'm 18. My hands feel sooo much stronger now and I don't get so many injuries in my fingers when I train. Or, maybe I'm mistaken and rubbish its coming out of my mouth.
Shane, the other day a 17 year old slapped me and robbed my football I don't know what to do I he starts a fight be cease I'm only 13 he's a lot taller and stronger, got any tips or help for me if he does?
they last one is most effective on the thumb, because it naturally doesn't bend as much made the mistake of teaching my dad that one - he's nearly 60, I'm in my 20s and he'll still make me tap
