Also, I am born Leo I was born in August, and if you meet me in person, I will not fit the description of a Leo even as a child I never did so when people say certain things are Leo or another astrology sign, it always entertains me. Because I’ve never fit my own astrology description.

I've always felt ao misrepresented by these zodiac signs. I'm a Leo, but am extremely anxious, hate being the center of attention (makes me so anxious that I often black out those moments), and I struggle with being assertive or confident at all. People see me as a very short woman and act like I'm dumb and weak, which has affected my confidence. I've been working on standing up for myself more and having confidence from within, but it's a struggle for me. The main traits for Leos all seem quite opposite to all of this, so zodiac signs have always felt like someone is just assuming I'm someone that I couldn't even see myself being able to fake being. This isn't just targeted towards people who are into zodiac signs, but I hate when people take something surface level and try to assume they know me inside and out without actually getting to know me. You know what they say about assumptions, right? Lol.
Of course, I don't mind people doing it for fun, but some people take it too seriously.

So maybe the issue isn't the dude lying about his sign but the fact that he thought it would be hilarious to make fun of his coworkers harmless fun and in the process ended up lying to his boss. He could be lying about literally anything and the problem would still be that he lied, not about what.
So discriminating your coworkers and subordinates is harmless fun but letting people make assumptions about you based on a fake birthday is no longer harmless fun? Your bias is showing. Your coworkers have no right to demand your actual birthday.
The "harmless fun" is judging people based on something they have no control over. Would it be "harmless fun" if they were making ancestry charts and judging their coworkers based on the ethnicity of their ancestors? How about if they make a chart based on their eye and hair color and then judge them on that?
You only think it's "harmless fun" because the coworkers were being mostly positive with it. What if they used his star sign as a reason to not promote him? How about to not include him on projects? The reality is that they shouldn't be judging him based on something he can't control, especially when it's all nonsense to begin with.

Scientology was created in the 1900's and astrology has more than two THOUSAND years old. To be an actual astrology, you have to be able to make charts with lots of calculations and knowledge in the subject.

I'm a sagittarius and I think it's the best sign because I love archery 😊 other than that I don't really believe that everyone born in a certain month has the same traits 😅 usually the info on sagittarius (and aries rising moon thingy) doesn't fit me at all or are so basic that they fit everyone on earth. I mean, mine says I'm adventurous, easily fall in love, only look for short relationships, always get the party going, make friends easily and love being in crowds, I'm a jokester and I'm impatient. This is literally the opposite of me. The only thing that does fit me is creativity and independence (which it says in almost all star signs)

My old coworkers were into astrology too. One use to say he was surprise I’m a Sagittarius as fire signs are loud and obnoxious, usually self centered, and don’t generally mix well with his sign, while I’m pretty chill and quite and then later on we figured out that half my houses are Sagittarius and the other half are Capricorn so it balances itself out😂🤣

And overtime, numerous people have just added in clauses that explain every way it may be missing the mark for some people, but spot on for others. I’m like you, I am a Sagittarius Sun, but I never match with the personality traits attributed to Sagittarius. But my Venus (planet of love & relationships) is in Scorpio, and I have a Capricorn Moon (emotional self). Often times, Scorpio and Capricorn traits fit much more closely with me, so people at one point would convince me that it’s because I’m such a lover girl; my personality is more closely paired with my Venus and moon. 🤯😬😆I’m like 😂 whatever works ya’ll. Sam's idea on the first history wasn't that bad 😂 I'm from El Salvador, and it was pretty common that your birthday on legal certificates were different from your actual birthday, my mom's birthday is on November, but in all her legal documents her birthday is on September one year later, which was an ongoing issue on my family as I've at least 5 family members that had the same issue 😅

Story 1: I did something similar but way less complicated with my little sister (15) when she had her TikTok astrology phase (god I hate this app). I asked her about her sign and read her a complete different horoscope. She smiled and said how much it did fit to her and describe her and, with a bright smile, I turned my phone around and showed her which sign‘s horoscope I had read. She did not like that.
Big protein is a cusp sign because he’s on the edge of his star sign. He has qualities of each. That means he isn’t going to be a typical Libra. He’ll have many traits from the next sign.
He's also an equinox baby which is and of itself a special thing.

My coworkers would have astrology talks but it was just super goofy. There are a lot of Libras and our October birthday pot luck is the biggest. I rarely go to go to those because I take the Friday off of the week off my birthday if I have the PTO.

I dont firmy believe in astrology, but personality tests are my thing. Enneagram, Management by Strengths, etc are usually VERY accurate and actually helpful in managing relationships, whether romantic or not

People who judge based off your astrological placements, esp just sun sign, DO NOT understand astrology as well as they think they do. Astrology is best used with an intent to understand the self as well to foster a deeper human connection with others.
There is so much more involved than just sun and rising signs. All the planets and aspects matter. And we have all the signs in each of us. So judgement of others is usually just issue with aspects of the self.
