      The Graston technique is an excellent way to relieve pain. Why dont you call it by name? I would think referring to the technique you are using by name could lead to your followers looking into it deeper. Plus it would give credit to the doctor who actually developed it. You make great videos please keep up the great work and please refer to the techniques you use by name either in the description or in the video. The self education of your followers will result in a better more full sense of healing.

      I'd love to hear your opinion on dry needling. I'm 42 I've had carpal tunnel syndrome for over 20 years since I was 19 doctors have been telling me to get surgery. 5 years ago I tried dry needling and Graston massage. I happy to report that I'm nearly symptom free. I'm on no meds and I dont wear braces either. I went from steroid injections and massive amounts of pain killers and still wakening up at night literally screaming in pain to only having mild symptoms and only when I do massive amounts of intense work like turning a 40x40foot garden by hand. It has literally changed my life.

      @@zephyrwinkle6552 Actually: The origin and technique derived from ancient traditional Chinese Gua Sha. Over 2000 years old. Tools used for friction consist of jade, spoons, coins, etc. My grandma used to do this at home on my mom. My recollection dates back to my childhood in the late 60’s. Research Gua Sha.

      Thank you for your informative videos. I broke my wrist 3 months ago. Required surgery to implant a plate and 6 screws for a distal radius fracture. After months of physical therapy with a hand specialist; I’ve received great advice from you. I tried the flattening of the hand while putting weight on it and moving clockwise and counterclockwise. Great stretch. Thank you.

      @@marylee1042 you know I actually have heard of this technique and admittedly haven't looked into it much. I think I saw some pictures of some really bad looking bruises. Is this common in your opinion? I could be thinking of something else though, I dont have a very clear picture of this memory.

    This self, wrist adjustment succeeded in resetting my dislocated wrist and relieving my great pain, which I have had for a month. Thank-you so much. Before watching this video; I had tried pushing on the spot on my wrist: forward, backward, downward, and sideways, with no luck. I watched ten other videos with no luck. This video showed how to find the offending spot, by rubbing and feeling the loose, bone. Tensioning, dropping the wrist; and the key: lifting the arm, gently upward, while pushing on the spot to get the correct angle and gentle leverage. The offending bone in my wrist slid toward my elbow and popped-down gently and dramatically into place; relieving my pain and restoring movement & strength to my wrist & hand. I am so thankful for Dr. Rowe's generous help. It is selfless, giving, skilled, people, like Dr. Rowe, who restore faith in America.

    I just found your channel. I sprained my left wrist about 1.5 months ago. Not while skateboarding or skiing or hitting a punching bag like these reviewers, but falling backwards on a hiking trail while wearing my backpack. Dumb thing to do. I Landed on my shoulder and most of my weight on my wrist. I put ice (snow) on it immediately and kept it on for the last mile back to the trailhead. After applying more snow, I went home to add ice.
    Now all this time later I can use the wrist a lot BUT I cannot bend it enough to play my violin. Just picking up the instrument, turning the wrist to place it under my chin HURTS. When I stretch my fingers to place on the string the pinkie hurts more than the other three. (it has to stretch the most). What am I going to do? Also typing this letter is starting to really hurt., I will sit with a heating pad after typing this.
    Are these exercises (I didn't do the 'stick' one) the right ones for this type of injury? I could do them all but some were more painful than others. So now after running a few scales on my violin for the first time since the injury, doing these excises just once through, and typing this letter, I feel like having a wrist transplant. YIKES!!

    I feel like I've been wearing my brace for too long. I had tried stretches and got some relief but the ones you have here are stretching my wrist in all different ways. I still have some numbness in middle and ring finger but pain definitely subsided. Thanks for this video. I will continue to try these stretches and the massage. It felt great!

    I will definitely give this a try. I had a cyst in my wrist for about 10 years. The cyst went away then shortly after I started getting gout in the same wrist. My wrist is wrecked I have lost about 50% of mobility can’t do push-ups wrist will not go back. My wrist is very sensitive the slightest hint to it gout sets in. Thank you for the video 🙏🏼

    • @QuantumPyrite_88.9
      @QuantumPyrite_88.9 3 года назад +1

      @Kenny Tolbert - I drink 2 ounces of unprocessed apple cider vinegar + honey every 2 days . The gout pain in my left foot went away after 2 weeks - years ago .
      IMO - kidney stones , gall stones & gout are not an issue for individuals who consume unfiltered organic cider vinegar .

    Amazing! I've had the worst wrist pain for so long and it kept 'going' and being extremely uncomfortable and painful. I have a very stubborn, pully labrador and he has caused many injuries. The massages were great, but better was that wrist 'ball' manipulation dodad, perfect! Pain GONE! (For now at least) Now to strengthen and look for hip/lower back remedies.

    In Chinese traditional massage these technique we called it 'guasa' ..n can apply to the whole body ( how to do the stroking for hands and legs 👉🏻 by follow the vena n artery blood circulation ..when the heart pumps out the blood we strokes ⬇️ n when the blood pumps blood back in to our heart we strokes up ⬆️...)

    THANK YOU SO MUCH I play beat saber and my left wrist just started to ache and pop in the joint when ever I would bring my wrist far down or roll it and there are A LOT of flicking moments in beat saber and this started happening yesterday I watched all the other videos but this one helped the best instant results and it isn’t as achy and doesn’t pop anymore and I LOVE BEAT SABER so I’ve been wanting to play but knowing if I do I could damage something long term in my wrist. Thank you I’m gonna do this every day before playing beat saber to make sure it never happens AGAIN
