    Here is what you'll need!
2 WAYS TO MAKE YOUR OWN PERFUME
    DIY PERFUME SPRAY
    MATERIALS
    Dark, glass bottle/container for storing*
2 tablespoons carrier oil of choice (coconut, olive, jojoba, almond)
    ¼ cup 100 proof vodka
6-8 drops base note essential oil of choice (~20% total number of drops)
15-20 drops middle note essential oil of choice (~50% total number of drops)
12-15 drops top note essential oil of choice (~30% total number of drops)
Funnel for transferring liquid to container
    2 tablespoons distilled water
    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. In a small bowl, add in carrier oil of choice and vodka.
    2. Add essential oils in the following order: base note, middle note, and top note. Stir to combine thoroughly.**
    3. Transfer to glass container using funnel.
    4. Store in a cool, dark place for at least 48 hours to 2 weeks to allow fragrance to settle.
    5. If you like the scent you made and you’re ready to use it, add distilled water to the container using funnel.
    6. Shake vigorously for 1-2 minutes.
    7. Your perfume is ready to use! (Be sure to test a small patch of skin first to see if it causes irritation).
    8. Use a coffee filter and small funnel if transferring to a pretty perfume bottle (optional).
    9. Enjoy your personal fragrance!
    Note:
*We used 4-ounce amber glass spray bottles; If using 2-ounce bottles, simply use ½ the recipe.
**You may need to do some research on which essential oils pair well together but feel free to get creative and come up with your own combination. Either way, it is recommended you test out your scent in a separate bowl to see if you like the final aroma once all notes are combined. For a more developed list of essential oils and their classifed notes refer to www.aromaweb.com/articles/arom....
    FRAGRANCE BALM
    MATERIALS
    Water for boiling
    1 large glass bowl
    2 tablespoons beeswax
    2 tablespoon coconut oil
6-8 drops base note essential oil of choice (~20% total number of drops)
15-20 drops middle note essential oil of choice (~50% total number of drops)
12-15 drops top note essential oil of choice (~30% total number of drops)
    Small container(s) with secure lid(s)
    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Pour water into a pot and bring to boil.
    2. Place glass bowl on top of pot for double boiling. Ensure it is secure.
    3. Pour beeswax into bowl and stir until fully melted.
    4. Add in coconut oil and stir until melted.
    5. Remove glass bowl and set aside.
    6. Quickly add in essential oils in the following order: base note, middle note, top note. Stir to combine thoroughly.*
    7. Pour liquid into container(s) and let cool for 1 hour, or until it has fully solidified.
    8. Your fragrance balm is ready to use! (Be sure to test a small patch of skin first to see if it causes irritation).
    9. Enjoy your personal scent!
    Note:
*You may need to do some research on which essential oils pair well together but feel free to get creative and come up with your own combination. I tried the first recipe with lavender oil, rose oil and an essential oil mix and let me tell you it smells really natural and very very light. So i would suggest you to put more drops of oils into the mix than suggested because even the very light smell fades away really really fast. But your sweat will never gonna smell bad thanks to the vodka in the mix ☺️

You should try adding base notes i.e sandalwood, tobacco etc. Top and middle notes fade quickly while base notes last longer.

I use carrier oils in my perfume so I use roller bottles. I hate the smell of alcohol in perfumes so I use carrier oils instead of alcohol in my all natural perfumes. The only scent that I love to wear every day is ylang ylang. I just made a roller bottle of just ylang ylang by itself and it's wonderful! I put some in hair to for perfume every day. I also love the smell of neroli and rose. Neroli is tied in 1st place with ylang ylang as one of my favorites and rose isn't far behined. I do plan on mixing all three one day when I have them all for perfume and it's going to smell GLORIOUS I'm sure. Ylang ylang is my every day oil and I absolutely love it to death!! It smells SO heavenly!!

just use rubbing alcohol. some rubbing alcohol is colored/scented so make sure you get some that's just plain. but really though, you can completely eliminate the alcohol and the water because they don't actually absorb or emulsify with the oil, so that renders the addition literally useless. just dilute the essential oils into a carrier oil and use a dropper, roller ball, or dabbing stick applicator instead of the spray for a more precise application.

    • @zzdaweirdo1120

@@hudanaimathullah98 That's only if you make roll-on or solid perfume. Otherwise, you use a form of alcohol. Never use vodka, or rubbing alcohol. You have to shake up the perfume if you have vodka every time before you use it becaise of the water content, and the rubbing alcohol smells very strong. If you can, use perfumers alcohol which is specifically for perfume.

Yes. You can use 15-20% essential oils and 80% carrier oils such as almond, jojoba, fractioned coconut oil etc. They will last as long as these carrier oils do. Which is around 6 months to a 1-4 years, depending on the carrier oil used.
Also I think, a few drops of Vitamin E can be added, as it acts as a preservative.

Vodka should never be used, because it has a water content so that when you want to use your perfume, you will have to shake it up. But if you make roll-on perfume, all you need is your essential oil and some sweet scented carrier oil.

Can you use regular rubbing alcohol instead of drinking Alcohol 🍷?

    • @danlightened

You can't use either. You have to use proof 190 grain alcohol or perfumer's alcohol.

The fragrance balm is ok BUT that's not how you make alcohol perfume. When you buy a perfume in the store, the oil doesn't sit on the water.

Doesn't coconut/ Olive oil makes stain in cloth?

I don't know about olive oil but I use coconut oil to make my own deodorant (just coconut oil + bi carbonate of soda) and it has never stained my clothes; been using this for 2 years now
