viewsonic is a real native 4k, the LG uses XPR. You'll get a better picture from the viewsonic
@@MikeyLopez No, the Viewsonic is an XPR shifter, too. There are no cheap real 4k projectors in the market right now.

I have just unpacked this projector, and so far, it has been impossible
to find the Aspect Ratio settings on the control panel resize the projected
image to my 80" inch display!
On the projector itself, the controls only enlarge the image! Even though,
Page 55 of the user guide states that resizing the image to lower definitions,
not to mention smaller aspect ratios, shouldn't be a problem!
It is also connected to my laptop via an HDMI cable. Even though the laptop diverts
its screen to the projector fully, it doesn't make any difference!

Compared to your last projector, i think it's the Optoma uhd 51? Is the Viewsonic better, worse, or is the Optoma not even close...?
This is definitely better as a whole package it is double the size almost.

The Optoma use a lamp, no full lens shift, no web access, no stereo speakers, no motorized focus...
Hello. Due to your video I bought and installed the viewsonic x100-4k in my living room. I have to agree. The picture is amazing 👍. I have very noticeable jutter when playing youtube content and netflix content over the build in cast function and using chromecast ultra. It happens mainly in fast paced scenes. I'm using a 5g connection for both sources. Have you experienced anything similar? Ive used the settings out of the box and only tried frame interpolation off and, high. I live in the DK. Thx in advance
Do you try connect with HDMI? You can try a TV box or sth like that
I'm just curious, do you hear a high pitched whining noise only when the LED lamps are on? I just bought mine and I hear it. not sure if this is normal or a malfunction.

I hear it on mine. Talked to Viewsonic support. They don't hear it on their unit in the demo room. They advised to have it serviced or exchange it from where you purchased it.
It's a known issue by Viewsonic.I replaced mine because of this problem and got a new one without the high pitch sound.

In theory there should be no RBE with LED and no color wheel.
What about Lensshift? Can you get the picture below the projector (ie the top of the picture below the lens)?
Have anyone here this Projektor? All overe there in the net are realy bad reviews.(bad contrast) i have a normal Livingroom.. 4m x 4m with a window. Normay daylight. is this Projektor an option or maybe the LG HU70LS or a benq TK850? i have no idea..
How was the black detail? Thats is usually where the projectors i’ve had struggled a lot.
Good at its best when in a darker room as you would expect

Yes. Mine was the original X100. I returned it to Viewsonic. Don't know about new version X100 Plus.

@@bryanp4827 I just remember being really impressed with the picture on the TK850 not so good in other areas like noise, gaming etc but I love the colour accuracy of the BenQ range.
@@allthingstech yes, that's why it was either this one or the Benq W5700, and seeing as though this one seems to have poor contrast, it looks like the W5700 for me

This projector gets the job done pretty well. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
Barely a review. Showing the black levels on an obviously overblown image is pretty shady. No word on the horrible android based software. Plus the half truth with contrast level. Step your game up! This was an advertisement, nothing more.
I've seen it's only about 330:1 contrast ratio. Can anyone confirm this? If so, shame on you, Viewsonic!

Yes Ansi contrast Ratio is just 330:1 but 500:1 is good and 1000:1 would be awesome ...

Epson EHTW9400 is a good projector 3LCD is the way to go

@@jimr8792 LED can still have rainbows... the rainbow comes from a combination of the light source and the DLP (the latter of which has to flash one color at a time). So, faster color wheels lessen the effects, as do fast-switching LEDs, but they still have to bounce off of the DLP mirrors one at a time. So, while LEDs can help diminish the likelihood of rainbows with DLP, they can't completely remove it. You'd have to go to LCD or LCOS for that.
The Epson is not 4k, just FHD enhanced.
