Awesome cap. Congrats but please get a boat surveyor before you purchase because this type of bots are not built with quality, look at my video about my Crooked PilotHouse and you will see, hope you enjoy you new boat and generator👍👍😁😁⚓️
Good point on the backrest position, crooked again 😲. On my old 20 ft walk around Grady, those backrests from the crooked pilot house would be a right fit. 😎
Hi Capt... You are always inventing new ways to make your boat better. Great job! I'm also impressed with your factory-look paint job of the generator. It looks great, and serves a great purpose. I'm guessing you already know that flat white is the most heat-reflective color. (not gloss white, and certainly not silver). It's why large commercial buildings went to using flat-white membranes on the roofs. People used to think silver was heat-reflective; it is not. Many metal roofs, silver/galvanized tin etc. used in the past are super heat-absorbing. For those who may doubt this, get two standard bright shiny butter knives. Paint one flat white. Lay them both in the hot sun. Wait an hour or so, and pick them up. The silver one will burn your fingers. The flat white one will be barely warm.... I didn't mean to ramble on here... sorry!
Hello cap. And thank you for sharing your knowledge is very appreciated and no i did not know that flat white paint was better, but now i know, wen you tell me thinks you know i always believe you 100% like wen i ask you about the radar and the aluminum rod holders inthe top of the pilothouse if it interfere with the radar and you ware 100% right, i always appreciated your knowledge it is priceless cap. Nice update. 2 thoughts though. Maybe tilt that exhaust down a little so rain does not get in the engine also maybe a spray hood on the front to keep the plug area dry.
I like the new placement captain of your generator and the white that you painted it. Looks good great job on that one. Also nice when u are lying down u can see your generator as well and it’s more out of site and out of mind Safe Navigation
Hey skipper so that generator powers all your devices at once? Mini fridge, ice maker, a/c, etc. I plan on installing a generator next year on my old Pilot House for trips up the Long Island Sound. But it has to be a quick release type of deal so I can remove it and leave it at the dock for short trips. The generator has to be as quiet as possible but be able to put out enough energy. The last thing I want is too much noise on board when I'm trying to enjoy the water. Anyway good job with the video keep em coming skipper!
Really solid job Capt. well done that should help a lot, also Capt. you can get heat tape to wrap the muffler it will stop the heat so if you hit it by accident you wont get burned I use it on my old Harley motorcycle builds.
Wow cap. That is a awesome idea and do you think Amazon carry that kind of tape , if you can if you have the time can you send me the link here, great safety thinking cap. Thank you👍👍⚓️
Keep a tin can or something handy to put over your muffler pipe when it isn't running to keep water from going into your engine. I could give you a bunch of ideas on how to keep water out but you will eventually come up with your own ideas I'm sure. A real easy one is to cut an angle at the back of the pipe where the exhaust exits. Think of an angle like you cut the bottom inch or so of the pipe off leaving the top uncut. Anyway, with your pipe pointed up I worry water may get into it. Thanks for your content by the way. I enjoy watching your adventures and wish I could go as well!
great point cap and what im planning to do is making a small cut about 2 to 4 inches on the exit that way if rain water comes in it has a way out and thanks for your awesome suggestions cap because they help me a lot 😉⚓👍👍👨✈️
That is sweet man great thinking love the idea definitely and it seems it will work great one thing I thought of about the extended muffler you could get some of that fiberglass wrap they use on motorcycle exhaust pipes to reduce the heat
Great job captain, maybe a vibration dampening material under your base would stop some of the vibration in the cabin. And keep it a lot quieter. As always keep improving And keep that prop clear. 😂😂

I know you know what you are doing so just a comment - the exhaust extension adds back pressure to the OEM design stub. Same stub on my Honda unit. Not sure what’s acceptable in this case how long one could go, but bigger diameter and smooth bore and short as possible is better, than not. A bend adds back pressure too vs straight, was thinking a larger diameter smooth bore pipe short, but with a turn to starboard early- would be ideal. Standard car exhaust type tubing, comes to mind. And most is steel to rust but stainless full exhausts exist. The back pressure is the most when cold, then drops with heat. At least what I recall from college days. The best crooked out there, the only one at it. Guy in my marina with some other 25 ft is all over your video on the trolling setup with the spot lock. The 21 ft crooked pilot house next to my former old 20ft Grady walk around with the full Bimini in the marina together would be ideal. No other pilot except the rare Steiger, fits. And I mean no other brand. Probably want to spend more time on yours than mine, too. No boat is without projects and upgrades for the working class guy. Me too. 💪. Peace.
Thanks cap and yes the exhaust pipe is biger then the manufacturer muffler and it work perfectly but i understand if you go same or smaller, thanks cap fpr sharing your knowledge, we boaters need it 😉👍
@@OutOnTheReef 😎💪💪💪 and I only had a 150 2 stroke, bought it all at a repossession Citibank sale. Cut out of work to get down to Brooklyn from Manhattan. If that’s not working class nothing is, just for the others. I’m not talking shet.

hello cap. Amazon ask me to removed them and i will make a video soon to explain their poor excuse to fired me , it wasn't RUclips it was amazon greed, thanks for always supporting my channel cap you are awesome 😉⚓👍
I worry about CO with that installation. CO tends to hang around transoms even with winds. When it was on the side the exhaust could detach from the hull shape more easily. Get a CO detector and check it out.
Is much complicated then that cap. The owne of the manufacturer told my dealer to return the boat and forget about the family manufacturer so that means that i would not be allowed to purchase a new parker in my life cap. Thats why i did not return for a full refund 😒
Hope you put a CO2 detector in the cabin if you're going to be sleeping in there. Plenty of news stories out there where deaths occurred with on-deck generators.
Hey Cubano ! usually can get into your ideas, mods, which most of the time are spot on, not so much this one, to me seems like in the way, too much stuff hanging out, but you know your boat better than anyone else, whatever floats, for sure you're going to get alot of complaints from your live well residents, wouldn't want to stick my hands in there ! 😂

RUclips is good at shooting there own foot. Maybe lets find a new but easy way to share your links. I know I have used them before, in-fact I just now came back just to check out you links.
Get a CO detector and check it out.
thanks cap. good point and yes i do have a CO detector thanks for looking out cap,👍⚓
You still up Cappy? 😂
😉😁thanks cap.🔩⚓️🦈
Remember you had a white one dam it ! Lol it’s good not many choices ..
lol cap. you remember that was 6 years ago you have a great memory, thanks for being a long time viewer cap.⚓👍👨✈️
Esta malo el weather Capt. Por eso estas remodelado, esperemos mejore un poco.
Si conpadre espero que mejore para ti tambien saludos capi
I would like to know what you paid for the boat? Since it was manufactured wrong... I would have taken it back....
Is much complicated then that cap. The owne of the manufacturer told my dealer to return the boat and forget about the family manufacturer so that means that i would not be allowed to purchase a new parker in my life cap. Thats why i did not return for a full refund 😒
Very disappointed in this manufacturer in the way they think they can control the customers.
Thanks for your question cap.
Get a carbon monoxide detector for in the cabin.
thanks cap i always had one thanks for looking out cap 😉👍👍⚓
👍
😉🔩⚓️
Nobody does it better...
lol thanks cap 😉👍👍⚓👨✈️
Hope you put a CO2 detector in the cabin if you're going to be sleeping in there. Plenty of news stories out there where deaths occurred with on-deck generators.
Very true cap. And i always have one on board is a must , thanks cap.
Are you an engineer by profession?
lol cap im more like a Mad Scientist 🤣👍👍
You have a good mind for it. Keep up the good work!
@@size-matters thanks cap. You are awesome 👍 🔩🔩

saludos cap.
saludos and yes but im running out of room , im trying to make a Yacht out of a 21 foot boat im creasy 😂
Hey Cubano !
Know all about the creasy part, I'm not that far behind, just much older, takes longer, mentally & physically, quit bending the elbow on the Cuba Libre, been there done that, pretty soon going to need bigger boat & start all over again, if that keeps you motivated, how's the the new 4 legged fam. crew member working out, got her see legs yet ? enjoy, stay safe out there !
@Roger-gm9tl jajaja i like the cuba libre and yes i. Running out of room in this Crooked PilotHouse Boat but no money for a upgrade so this Crooked pilothouse will have to do maybe a bigger engine in the future like a 225 Hp and yes Ina is a hand full , now she is teething is that stage of her life but she is a awesome pup and she has not been in the boat yet but hopefully soon cap. Saludos de Central Florida
Hey Cubano !
Need extra cash ? you could always open up Cuban bar, restaurant on the water, cooking show, recipes, book, that might hold you for a little bit ? I'm sure the Cubana would be good at this, just don't eat all of the profits !
@@Roger-gm9tl lol 😆 im my way cap. The Crooked pilothouse Frituras
At first I was confused as to why you were painting it, then when you took the shot from on top of the boat, I was wow!!! that looks so good. You could have left it where it was and made a splash guard, but that does require a bit more work. Me encanto el video, a hora listo para navegal!
Yes cap. It made a huge difference and now will be much cooler wen the sun hits it , gracias por las ideas capi y por ver mi cannal ,ahora para el procsimo video👍😁⚓️
