Hindsight is 20/20 right? There is always something we wish we could have done in the past. You have lived and continue to thrive with cancer onboard. You're still living your life to the fullest, even with ongoing complications. I see your strengh and admire your sheer will to keep moving forward. You message of courage and determination to live life to the fullest in the face of sometimes daunting challenges should be universal, and thank goodness you continue to document your progress. I've suffered from chronic depression and anxiety for most of my adult life. I look back at my achievements with "poor me" sorrow, despite what others say. Depression is quite a self absorbing disease, and anxiety just serves to lock me away in my own misery. I watch you and I see that spark of life that I admire and crave. You're such an inspiration to me, even if my mind continually attempts to point me in the wrong direction and often succeeds. I do tend to ramble on a bit, but I guess I just want to say "thank you for being you". I don't know you beyond the confines of RUclips, but I do know a good person and a fighter when I see one. ❤

You have had a tough week. Hopefully you get moved to a normal ward soon and then home. It's still warm here but there's a bit of rain around. Maybe a lot of rain by the end of the week. I am looking for a four day weather window on the West coast to do a bike ride but it's not looking great for this Friday. Maybe we go and just put up with rain, maybe we delay. As is usual here, the weather systems coming in from the Atlantic bring rainy days then they blow through and we get some dry days. The problem is in trying to predict ahead for a trip lasting four days and needing three inter island ferries. Whatever happens, I will get out on the bike for day trips locally here on the NE coast but I really want some West coast island time. Hugs from Scotland.
